Throughout the 29 seasons of The View, the co-hosts have openly claimed the presidential elections of 2000, 2016, and 2024, along with EVERY Republican electoral victory have all been stolen, rigged, or otherwise illegitimate. However, since The View also feels the need to oppose seemingly everything President Trump says in the most maximalist way possible, Joy Behar took time on Tuesday’s episode to insanely suggest that no election in the history of the “planet” was ever stolen or rigged.
In reacting to Trump’s Thursday address for the first time, co-host Joy Behar claimed that she could never recall a time in her life that the result of an election was questionable. She even got backup from co-host Sunny Hostin:
BEHAR: You know, for the 10,000 years that I've been on this planet, this has never come up before! Have any - Does anyone remember?!
HOSTIN: Well, there's no real evidence of election fraud. It's like 0.0003 percent of election fraud. So, it just doesn’t exist. It's a non-issue.
BEHAR: Basically.
HOSTIN: And you’re right, it's not something that has ever come up before.
That might be the most brazen attempt at disinformation The View had ever spewed since they first claimed they were a “bona fide news program” in 2014.

In 2012, Behar still wouldn’t shut up about the 2000 election even though it was fully legitimate. In an interview with disgraced former New York Governor and prostitute aficionado Eliot Spitzer (D), she griped: “I'm still ticked off about the 2000 election.” Adding, “I'm still ticked off about the 2000 election.”
It was rich for Hostin to open her mouth about it too because she spent years insisting that Trump’s victory in 2016 was illegitimate, only to change her mind six years later when her friend Karine Jean-Pierre was getting flack for spewing the same non-sense.
Just last month, Hostin argued that it was understandable for people to be suspicious of the results of the 2024 presidential election.
Additionally, throughout 2025, The View repeatedly suggested Trump stole the 2024 presidential election, without evidence and without even a theory about how it could have been done.
Over the years, Behar has repeatedly and erroneously casted doubt on every Republican electoral victory. In 2023, she asserted that the only why Republicans win elections was by “cheating.”
ABC News engages in more stochastic terrorism.

Earlier in the show, Behar and moderator Whoopi Goldberg suggested that Trump’s speech last week was “laying the ground work” for Trump to steal the 2026 election:
GOLDBERG: The question is: do you think he's laying the ground work to contest the election? Hell, yeah!
BEHAR: That speech was not about 2020. That speech was about 2026 and he is petrified that the Democrats are going to take over.
“And there’s the perfect metaphor for his administration, the diarrhea outbreak,” Behar dumped. “The explosive diarrhea is just the perfect metaphor, because everything is going up and making a mess.”
This kind of disinformation coming from a “bona fide news program” is what’s really making a mess in America.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: The question is: do you think he's laying the ground work to contest the election? Hell, yeah!
JOY BEHAR: That speech was not about 2020. That speech was about 2026 and he is petrified that the Democrats are going to take over. That’s’ what all the poles are saying anyway. And here's why. We now have lost 17 service members in Iran and he has nothing -- no plan. The gas is up to $4 a gallon. Some diesel - I noticed a couple of diesel almost six.
GOLDBERG: California gas very high.
BEHAR: And now we’ve put 50 percent he tariff on Canada which is going to increase inflation and prices are going it go up. And there’s the perfect metaphor for his administration, the diarrhea outbreak.
SUNNY HOSTIN: The explosive diarrhea?
[Laughter]
BEHAR: The explosive diarrhea is just the perfect metaphor, because everything is going up and making a mess.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: It is really dangerous for us to lose faith in elections and he gives us a lot of reason to. States administer elections. They're still done at the state level. Attorneys general and states governors are getting ready for any kind of, you know, things and shenanigans that might happen. We have to show up and we have to trust our elections about our local ones and get out.
BEHAR: You know, for the 10,000 years that I've been on this planet, this has never come up before! Have any - Does anyone remember?!
