Will NBC Stop This? Unglued O'Donnell: Trump Lacks 'Human Emotions'

July 16th, 2020 6:36 PM

With the release of Mary Trump’s new book, the leftist hacks at MSNBC finally have a god they believe in.  On Wednesday night, radical Last Word host Lawrence O’Donnell expressed his unwavering belief in the unhinged screed from Donald Trump’s niece, specifically the wild and hateful assertion that the President cannot feel human emotions.

O’Donnell trusted Mary Trump’s account of the Trump family so religiously, he believed that it dictated the news:

Gene Robinson, it is now as if Mary Trump is narrating the news. She's doing an accompaniment to the news. She tells us about how Donald Trump's father would just get rid of people when they weren't helping him, and then Donald Trump gets rid of his campaign manager. Just does exactly what Mary Trump would have told you that he would do under these circumstances.

This bizarre attribution not only made no sense, but it sounded like O’Donnell looked at her as some sort of omniscient deity.

The far-left host continued by painting a dark picture of the President not being human, rather some sort of emotionless robot:

Mary Trump tells us what Donald Trump cannot feel. He can't feel normal human emotions and empathy and so he's not worried about what happens if children go back to school. He's not worried about how many teachers will die. He's not worried about children getting brain damage from coronavirus. He’s not worried about any of that. Mary Trump tells us he cannot feel sadness.

The Democrat Party propaganda network has long wanted viewers to see the President as non-human. Their dehumanization of the President was sickening and rejected by anyone with a shred of basic decency. O’Donnell has been constantly doing his best to hurl hateful statements at Trump, all to help the Biden campaign.

O’Donnell had failed presidential candidate and Congressman Eric Swallwell (D-CA) on his show, who eagerly joined the vile slander:

We're all paying the price of someone that can't feel sadness. It sounds like if you listen to Mary Trump, those who love the President aren't related to him or didn't know him very well. But I'm worried, Lawrence, that because he can't show empathy, you know, he won't take up anything in the HEROES Act…

MSNBC’s objective has been to oust Trump from office since the day he was sworn in. They do not care about facts; they care about instilling fear in the American people.

O’Donnell and the rest of the partisan hacks in the media read the Mary Trump book as if it’s the Gospel, not because it is true, only because it fits their leftist narrative.

MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell

LAWRENCE O’DONNELL: Gene Robinson, it is now as if Mary Trump is narrating the news. She's doing an accompaniment to the news. She tells us about how Donald Trump's father would just get rid of people when they weren't helping him, and then Donald Trump gets rid of his campaign manager.

Just does exactly what Mary Trump would have told you that he would do under these circumstances. And then, you know, this struggle with Dr. Fauci is all part of the picture of Donald Trump that Mary Trump paints.

EUGENE ROBINSON (WASHINGTON POST ASSOCIATE EDITOR): Yeah, talk about family values. I mean it is an extraordinary picture. And the real misfortune, though, Lawrence, is what's happening to the country. I mean, you know, while the psycho drama is being played out inside the Trump family and inside Donald Trump's head, and he's presiding over an unmitigated disaster with the coronavirus. I mean, it is just astounding that the United States is incapable of dealing with a virus that is daunting, that is deadly, but that other countries have managed to get under control. And the president has actually militated it against effectively responding to the virus. And it is American tragedy that we see unfolding, not just on a psychological level, but on the level of our national daily life. It is just astounding.

O’DONNELL: Congressman Swalwell, Mary Trump tells us what Donald Trump cannot feel. He can't feel normal human emotions and empathy and so he's not worried about what happens if children go back to school. He's not worried about how many teachers will die. He's not worried about children getting brain damage from coronavirus. He’s not worried about any of that. Mary Trump tells us he cannot feel sadness. And you can see Mary Trump's sadness in Donald Trump's inability to fell sadness, and what that means for the country now.

REPRESENTATIVE ERIC SWALWELL (D-CA): We're all paying the price of someone that can't feel sadness. It sounds like if you listen to Mary Trump, those that love who the President aren't related to him or didn't know him very well. But I'm worried, Lawrence, that because he can't show empathy, you know, he won't take up anything in the HEROS Act which still sits waiting in the Senate for a vote which shows empathy to health care workers, which extends unemployment insurance, which reloads the Paycheck Protection Plan, which helps state and local governments. And as gene pointed out, Americans are suffering because the President, the reason he was impeached puts his personal and political interests above the country’s.

O’DONNELL: Gene, the polling today on the presidential campaign shows there simply is not in the polling right now a path to victory for Donald Trump. In the NBC poll, 50% say they absolutely never under any circumstances will vote for Donald Trump. So 50% are locked away.
