With The View’s 29th season ending this week, ABC News should consider forcing co-host Joy Behar to retire. She’s not mentally well. On Thursday’s show, she claimed she was legitimately “scared” that President Trump could allow the Saudi military detonate a nuclear bomb over Cleveland, Ohio, and they were paying him to let them do it. The View then implored people to voter against Trump in November, a violation of their broadcast network license.
Behar’s hysterics started with her spinning a new nuclear energy deal into Trump plotting to allow Saudi Arabia to stockpile nuclear weapons:
The thing that I really can't stand about him right now is that he starts a war in Iran because they're going to get a nuclear weapon. Now, he's making a deal with the Saudi Arabians that will allow them to produce a nuclear weapon.
In an instant, Behar’s psychosis escalated the situation into Trump plotting with the planners of 9/11 to drop a nuclear bomb on Cleveland. She then lashed out at Republicans for only acting against him after it happened:
BEHAR: Now, where is the head of the Republican Party in this, because they have the power to get rid of him?!
ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: And they will say that the Saudis are not allowed to make a nuclear weapon but they're allowed to enrich.
BEHAR: Oh, I see. Then we'll go to war with the 9/11 group. The Saudis were behind 9/11 and - and - Are they waiting for him to drop a nuke on Cleveland?! What are they waiting for to do something?!
ABC News's Joy Behar claims Trump is going nuke Cleveland, Ohio and whines only then Republicans in Congress would act against him. She also claims Trump is selling nuclear bombs to terrorists and pocketing the money:

“Now I'm scared,” Behar proclaimed.
Behar then proceeded to suggest that the Cold War “duck and cover” campaign that traumatized her as a kid would now come to pass; all because Trump was supposedly being bribed by the Saudi to let them nuke us:
BEHAR: See, I grew up hiding under the desk. I was one of those kids and you were probably too, Whoopi, where they said a nuclear bomb is about to hit, get under your desk, like that would do anything. And I've been scared of that. I never took my library books back because I said we're all going to die anyway. That is a fact.
And now we have a guy enabling that rogue nation, because -- by the way, they're going to give tens of billions of dollars. That's what is behind this. Follow the money with this guy!
HOSTIN: Always follow the money.
BEHAR: I want him out of there!
“We need to get out and make changes, because we need to block this every way we can. That's all. Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote,” moderator Whoopi Goldberg demanded near the end of the segment. “Don't wait until November. Start looking now.”
Here's even more electioneering from ABC's "bona fide news program" today. A violation of their broadcast license:
GOLDBERG: I'm going to say it again, not going to say the whole thing because it's way long. We need to get out and make changes, because we need to block this… pic.twitter.com/avgPnEWtfi— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) July 23, 2026
Earlier in the show, Goldberg literally begged their audience to vote for anyone opposing Trump. “Let us, I beg you all, I beg you all. You may be right about the Dems, I don't know, but I'm telling you, we must re-adjust what's going on,” she declared. “Right now. We have to right the ship.”
Spreading the disinformation Behar was spewing and Goldberg’s electioneering were both violations of ABC’s broadcast license.
ABC again violates their broadcast license by abusing their privileged access to the airwaves to electioneer against President Trump.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg literally begs Americans to elect candidates who oppose Trump and "right the ship" in the midterms:

Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote.
HOSTIN: In November, November.
GOLDBERG: Well, you have to remind people. You have to start saying vote now because they'll throw all kinds of stuff at you to tell you you don't have a way to do it. You do.
Start looking at how if you're getting thre-- if they're saying, you know, we're not going to take mail-in ballots then go and find out how you can get your ballot where it needs to be, when it needs to be, and how you can help your neighbors do the same thing. Don't -- don't wait until November. Start looking now.
We'll be right back.
