Promoting his new car show set to premiere Wednesday night on CNBC, Jay Leno made his return to NBC’s The Tonight Show on Tuesday night to give a portion of the opening monologue. He poked fun at Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, Republicans, ObamaCare, and the economy to name a few targets.

While the Democrats running for their party's nomination for the 2016 presidential election are far fewer than those on the Republican side, the Cable News Network is doing its best to add another candidate to its two-hour prime-time debate: Vice President Joe Biden.
In fact, according to an article by Mark Preston -- executive editor for CNN Politics -- Biden will be invited to participate in the first Democratic presidential primary debate at 9 p.m. on October 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada, if he declares his intention to seek his party's nomination as late as the day of the debate.

NPR generously donated an hour-long interview on Wednesday on The Diane Rehm Show to former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley. (Rehm also gave an hour to former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb in July.) Both Democrats are in Pataki territory in the polls for the Democratic presidential nomination.
The strangest part came when Rehm turned to the Republican desire to discontinue federal funding of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading abortion provider. Rehm bizarrely made it sound like there was just one Center for Medical Progress video, and one “individual” recorded discussing selling baby body parts. O’Malley denied ever seeing “that video.”

Former Maryland governor Martin O'Malley -- who is polling in the single digits in the Democratic presidential primary race -- has come out with a new measure to restrict 2nd Amendment rights. He's calling for raising minimum age for purchasing any firearm from 18 to 21. The liberal Daily Beast website noticed the move by O'Malley and hailed it as "bold" in today's Cheat Sheet digest.

ABC, CBS, and CNN's Sunday morning news shows all ignored the ongoing controversy over Planned Parenthood's harvesting of aborted babies' organs, as exposed in a series of recent undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress. George Stephanopoulos featured Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley on ABC's This Week, but failed to ask him a question about the scandal. NBC's Meet the Press did include a clip of Chuck Todd asking Republican Senator Joni Ernst about federal funding of the abortion giant. However, Todd didn't bring up the issue with California Governor Jerry Brown.

W. Kamau Bell, a new CNN host, joined Don Lemon on his program on Tuesday to poke fun of the Iowa State Fair. Lemon touted Bell's "visit to one of the whitest places in America." The former Current TV correspondent, who hosted a show on the FX network named Totally Biased, cracked that people at the fair were "taking pictures of me. I don't think it's because I'm famous. It's because I'm a black dude."

While Chris Matthews's Hardball program thus far has failed to cover Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley's critiques of the DNC's debate schedule and its ground rules, the Lean Forward network's website today has a front page article, "Martin O’Malley raises legal questions with Democratic debate plan" addressing the controversy.

"Just stop this, @MartinOMalley," sneered Greg Sargent on Twitter earlier today, reacting to an O'Malley aide's complaint about the DNC rigging the primary debate process in favor of frontrunner Hillary Clinton. Lis Smith of the O'Malley camp quickly shot back that it was "not a good look" for a "journalist" like Sargent to oppose "more debates and dialogue."

When the hardcore Left met in Phoenix for the Netroots Nation conference, the networks didn't see a problem when socialist Barnie Sanders gets bum-rushed off the stage early for not being leftist enough.
The Left assaulted Martin O'Malley as "tone deaf" for insisting that all lives matter, but they are the ones who don't realize most voters see "all lives matter" as the most reasonable and most humanitarian slogan.

On Monday's CNN Tonight, Montel Williams targeted the activists who recently shouted down former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley at the left-wing Netroots Nation conference for his "all lives matter" remark: "I'm sick of the fact that we now have to think that this term only belongs to one community. You know, lives matter in America. Black lives definitely matter. But every life in this country matters – especially the lives of the soldiers who put their life on the line every day to defend this democracy."
Press Loved O'Malley's 'Climate Change Plan' in June, Ignores His Linking It to the Rise of ISIS Now

Glowing articles appeared in many place, including the Washington Post, USA Today, The Hill and the Huffington Post, whose Kate Sheppard wrote that the former Maryland Governor had "Just Set An Extremely High Bar ... For 2016 Democratic Contenders."
Well, if they're so wired into climate change, why are they ignoring O'Malley's claim yesterday, in an interview with Bloomberg News, that climate change, aka the sanitized term for global warming, is largely responsibe for the rise of ISIS? Answer: Embarrassing comments by leftists are ignored until a Republican or conservative criticizes them. Then the story can be admitted into the news as a "so-and-so attacks" item.
