On CNN, Giuliani: 'I'd Have' Hillary Clinton 'Under Investigation for About Five Different Crimes'

Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's New Day on CNN, during a discussion of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani asserted that he would "have her under investigation for about five different crimes right now," and that it is "outrageous that the Justice Department is not moving forward with this."

Calling it a "true criminal case against Hillary Clinton," he further argued that the destruction of the drive which contained 34,000 emails, some of which were government-related, constituted "obstruction of justice" and could be viewed by a court as an "inference of guilt."

On Thursday's The Lead, CNN analyst Tom Fuentes was unwilling to conclude that the perpetrator of a mass shooting against servicemen in Chattanooga, Tennessee was Muslim. John Berman asked the former FBI assistant director, "Now that we have the name [Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez], the key questions are what?" Fuentes replied, "I know...what the name sounds like, but we don't know that it's a Muslim name. We know it's an Arabic name."

Camerota underlined that "other people say" that Pamela Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) is "even a hate group, and that they're vehemently anti-Islam....They talk about Islam, and they talk about it with, sort of, real repugnance, quite frankly."

Maggie Haberman of the New York Times joked that Clinton "dominated Marco Rubio's rollout – which was a very impressive rollout – with pictures looking like she was robbing a Chipotle." Anchor John Berman cracked in reply that Haberman "just launched a Clinton scandal," with co-anchor Chris Cuomo adding, "Were they e-mailing about going into Chipotle?"

Williams claimed that he traveled with the unit into Iraq just three days after the 2003 invasion; that SEAL "friends" of his sent him a piece of the wreckage from the helicopter that crashed on the 2011 raid that killed bin Laden; and that a SEAL once sent him his knife. Following the video and Berman iterating that Biden later clarified that he does indeed like his job and “the guy that he works for,” New Day host Chris Cuomo gushed how he “still love[s] Biden for what he is” and that “I think his candor is refreshing.”
