During Monday morning's edition of the Fox & Friends program, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked black guest Kevin Jackson: “Why has the Black Lives Matter movement not been classified yet as a hate group?”
The segment drew a tremendous negative online response, with one of the most unusual coming from Hasselbeck's former co-host on The View ABC program, who tweeted that “some r slow 2 wake.”
As of Thursday morning, ABC, CBS, and NBC's morning and evening newscasts had yet to report on Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan's Wednesday rant against the American flag at Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, D.C. Conservative talk radio station WMAL recorded Farrakhan's diatribe, where the radical figure called for an end to that national symbol: "We need to put the American flag down, because we caught as much hell under that as the Confederate flag."
According to the hosts of Fox and Friends, a NewsBusters blog is "guaranteed to make liberal heads explode.” On the April 25th program, the FNC anchors praised a NB piece by Noel Sheppard on the Dalai Lama saying he "loved" President George W. Bush.
The comment occurred during an interview with Piers Morgan. The Fox & Friends hosts marveled at just how much liberals would hate this statement. [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
Wednesday's Fox and Friends on FNC gave attention to the recent confrontation between HBO host and comedian Bill Maher and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the right-leaning co-host of ABC's The View, as Maher appeared as a guest on the ABC show.
Hasselbeck brought up a tasteless rape joke Maher told earlier in the year on his Real Time show after the sexual assault of CBS correspondent Lara Logan as she reported from Egypt in which he suggested sending Hasselbeck to Egypt.
On Monday's "Fox and Friends," liberal comedian George Lopez all but threw the "Oreo" racial slur at Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain: "The Republicans do know that he's darker than Barack Obama...but whiter on the inside." Lopez also half-jokingly hinted that the Tea Party was racist after host Steve Doocy mentioned Cain had won a Tea Party straw poll: "He wasn't serving the tea, 'cause that's crazy" [audio available here].
Lopez poked fun of the Republican presidential field at the bottom of the 8 am Eastern hour of the Fox News Channel morning show, and began by making fat jokes at the expense of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who is rumored to be considering a presidential run: "Should he run, and should he jump in the pool? Not while I'm in there. Let me get out before he cannonballs everybody out of water."

As NewsBusters previously reported, Bill Maher last Friday disgracefully attacked Bristol Palin saying, "The s--t doesn't fall far from the bat."
On Wednesday's "Fox & Friends," noted psychiatrist Keith Ablow analyzed the behavior of HBO's "Real Time" host concluding that the comedian has a deep-seated hatred of women and absolutely no regard for life (video follows with transcript and commentary):
"I've never seen the news media do this, and it is beyond reproachful for them to have done this," NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell complained on the June 10 "Fox & Friends" regarding the New York Times and Washington Post calling for readers to volunteer to help them comb through the archive of Sarah Palin's official gubernatorial e-mail correspondence.

Anchor Brian Kilmeade started off by showing the "Quote of the Year," which was "won" by MSNBC's Ed Schultz for ranting that Republicans "want to see you dead" and "make money off your dead corpse."

NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” went after the Fox News Channel again, this time depicting the hosts of the network's morning show as dumb, fear-mongering racists.
Saturday’s sketch began with an announcer stating, “You’re watching ‘Fox & Friends’ – coffee, smiles, fear and terror” (video follows with commentary):
Twice this week on the Ed Show, MSNBC host Ed Schultz has paid attention to FNC’s Shepard Smith for not approaching the Wisconsin labor union controversy from the right, and also added in FNC’s Greta Van Susteren on Thursday. On Wednesday, the MSNBC host began his regular "Takedown" segment:
Tonight, in the "Takedown" segment, how about Shepard Smith? I’ll tell you what, he's bucking the Fox News Republican agenda by actually telling the truth about what's happening in Wisconsin. But first, Bill O'Reilly made a big admission on his show last night while reading viewer mail about George Soros and fairness and Fox News.
After responding to a clip of Bill O’Reilly enumerating some of FNC’s hosts and calling them "fair," Schultz went after Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade for misreporting a poll on the public’s attitude toward the Wisconsin situation. After gloating over Kilmeade getting the poll results wrong, Schultz eventually admitted to MSNBC viewers that Kilmeade had, in fact, already corrected the mistake.
On Friday’s Countdown show, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann called FNC host Brian Kilmeade an "un-American bastard" during his show’s regular "Worst Person" segment because Kilmeade recently complained about the political correctness of the left's desire to avoid identifying Muslim terrorists as Muslims.
Picking up on comments Kilmeade made on Fox News Radio in which he overstated the reality that an overwhelming majority of terrorists are Muslims as Kilmeade asserted that "all" terrorists are Muslims, Olbermann went ballistic in attacking the FNC host. Olbermann: "Not every un-American bastard is Brian Kilmeade, but all Brian Kilmeades are un-American bastards and tonight's ‘Worst Person in the World.’"
