The editorial page editors at the New York Times posted a Tuesday item on their blog that shamelessly played up how the main villain from the Harry Potter book series, Voldemort, has a "higher rating than six Republicans, including Jeb Bush." The Washington Post's WonkBlog "compared polling data on the presidential hopefuls with Google Consumer Survey results on the fictional characters."

Bloomberg News ran a happy news story this week about the "surprising" development of Republicans joining Democrats in their effort to end our "incarceration generation" by the simple expedient of putting fewer criminals in prison. And Bloomberg wasn't just talking about the media's usual lickspittle, Sen. Rand Paul.

Fox News Channel (FNC) host Bill O’Reilly slammed the liberal media on Monday’s O’Reilly Factor for distorting conservatives and Republican presidential candidates in what he referred to as “tough times for social conservatives in America” thanks to a press that is “overwhelmingly left” and thus “simpatico, generally speaking, with the uber-liberal thought.”

During an interview on Wednesday’s Good Morning America to discuss his newly formed presidential campaign, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee hilariously told George Stephanopoulos, former communication director for Bill Clinton, how he is best suited to defeat the “Clinton machine.”

When it came time to cover the news from Tuesday that Mike Huckabee had announced his entry into the 2016 Republican presidential field, ABC and NBC largely yawned at this story by devoting a combined 48 seconds of airtime to Huckabee on their Tuesday evening newscasts.

For all the good their Ivy League degrees did Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton—when you consider the smoking ruin that is their foreign policy record—you'd think John Heilemann would have the good sense not to make an Ancient Eight sheepskin the sine qua non for a presidential candidate.

But with his MSM elitism on full display,, on today's With All Due Respect Heilemann had the chutzpah to suggest that Mike Huckabee doesn't clear the Commander-in-Chief bar because he lacks a degree from Harvard's Kennedy School or Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School.  Huck has simply picked up some foreign policy talking points from Fox News, huffed Heilemann.

Former Arkansas Governor and Fox News host Mike Huckabee’s entry into the GOP 2016 presidential field is sure to bring attacks on his social conservatism by liberal elites if recent history is any guide. Despite his background as a former pastor, liberal journalists seem confounded by his sticking to religious tradition when it comes to issues like same-sex marriage, federally-funded birth control or even Christmas.

In an April 16 article for the website Black America Web, CNN Tonight host Don Lemon wondered whether possible Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and declared GOP candidates Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are “black enough” to win over African-American voters but declined to ask the same question of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Former Arkansas governor and potential 2016 Republican presidential contender Mike Huckabee may well be guilty of sedition, MSNBC Hardball host Chris Matthews charged on his April 20 program. The offense which merits the charge?: Huckabee urging Americans to not enlist in the U.S. military until after President Obama leaves office.

CNN's Alisyn Camerota forwarded a liberal talking point about same-sex "marriage" on Monday's New Day as she interview former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Camerota spotlighted polls trending towards support of the left-wing cause over recent years, and wondered, "So, in terms of your stance on gay marriage, do you feel as though you're on the wrong side of history?"

Mike Huckabee, the once and future presidential candidate, is somehow controversial for attacking Beyonce and her gangsta-rap husband Jay-Z in his new book God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy. Beyonce is one of the most popular singers in America, and Huckabee acknowledges that. But pollsters are distorting his book.

Conservative politicians aren’t really allowed to condemn the crudest excesses of popular culture. The Obamas can be best friends with Jay-Z and Beyonce and never face any scrutiny for their parenting, which is always presumed to be fantastic.

Attempting to show former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) as a religious illiterate who doesn't understand Judaism, MSNBC host Alex Wagner this afternoon seems to have betrayed her lack of understanding about kosher dietary restrictions and what makes a kosher deli a kosher deli.
