During a lengthy interview with Cable News Network anchor Wolf Blitzer on Thursday, Ben Carson refused to answer his questions on whether Democrat Barack Obama is “a real black president" or a Christian.

The clash between the host of Wolf and the Republican presidential candidate began when Blitzer read a tweet from Rupert Murdoch, who is the 84-year-old owner of many newspapers and the Fox News Channel.

On Thursday's The Situation Room, after live coverage of President Barack Obama's speech on the day's shootings at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, CNN was true to form in promoting more gun control as CNN Law Enforcement Analyst Tom Fuentes urged President Obama to "lead" in proposing gun legislation and not just be the "mourner-in-chief."

Notably, moments earlier, when Fuentes described the students sitting in their class rooms as "sitting ducks" for the gunman to attack, anchor Wolf Blitzer noted that "there's no guns supposedly allowed on this campus," but this relevant observation did not develop into anyone suggesting that gun laws in the state be relaxed so professors and students could have a chance of defending themselves.

As part of CNN’s live coverage Thursday night of the deadly community college shooting in Oregon, fill-in AC360 host Wolf Blitzer declared that President Barack Obama “was embarrassed of the United States in front of the world” when he commented on the tragedy and urged Americans to “politicize” mass shootings. Prior to Blitzer’s observation, Zeleny fretted the presidential campaigns like that of Hillary Clinton will be unable “to bring any sense to this” shooting with the President encountering “not a bipartisan spirit to do anything.”

CNN's Wolf Blitzer hounded Rep. Jason Chaffetz on Wednesday's Situation Room over his hearing on Planned Parenthood's federal funding, and carried water for the abortion giant. Blitzer quibbled over a chart that was used at the hearing that showed the increase in abortions that Planned Parenthood did, and a concurrent decrease in the number of cancer screenings and other preventive services it does. He then touted a chart from the left-wing Vox site that supposedly "gives a more accurate reflection of what was going on."

In her first live interview of the 2016 campaign via satellite, Hillary Clinton spoke with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer during Thursday's The Situation Room and received a free pass from Blitzer in allowing her to dodge a question about whether she’s viewed the horrifying Planned Parenthood videos. He asked only two questions, in a 14-and-a-half-minute interview, about her e-mail scandal.

Ten years ago this week, Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans and it wasn’t long after the devastation that liberal reporters, hosts and columnists politicized the tragedy - from the left. Everything from George W. Bush’s “big oil” buddies to America’s racism to even tax cuts were blamed for the high human toll.

CNN host Wolf Blitzer interviewed #BlackLivesMatter founder Daunasia Yancey and activist Julius Jones on Tuesday about the recent backlash the movement has been receiving with the tactics used to protest, that it's not polite. Blitzer went easy on them – especially when it came to some of the ridiculous comments made taking offense to the concept that "all lives matter." Jones called that a "violent statement."

This week, with the nation’s largest abortion provider under fire for allegedly selling baby body parts for profit, CNN’s on-air hosts lecture Republicans on the need to maintain the flow of taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood. “You shouldn’t rush to defund,” CNN’s Chris Cuomo told one GOP congesswoman. And, Bloomberg’s John Heilemann and Mark Halperin declare Hillary Clinton’s “fiery” and “passionate” defense of the abortion industry the “best day I’ve seen her have as a candidate in this cycle.”

Wolf Blitzer grilled Rand Paul on Thursday, demanding to know why the Republican presidential candidate would dare advocate the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Quoting liberal talking points, he complained, "Why do you want to defund Planned Parenthood? Because, as you know, according to Planned Parenthood...they serve 2.5 million people, a lot of poor people, a lot of poor women out there." Blitzer chided: "Tell us why you would defund, if you had your way, the entire organization."

On Monday's Wolf show on CNN, host Wolf Blitzer referred to GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry's criticism of gun-free zones as "controversial" and "eye-raising" before then giving gun control activist Mark Kelly an unchallenged forum to push for more gun laws.

On Tuesday's The Situation Room on CNN, host Wolf Blitzer and correspondent Dana Bash followed the lead of CNN's New Day in forwarding accusations that Jeb Bush and other Republicans have been "hypocritical" in slamming Donald Trump's dismissal of John McCain's military record, while Republicans supported the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in 2004 when they ran ads discrediting some of John Kerry's claims about his war record.

Appearing on Friday's Wolf show on CNN to discuss the motivations of Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez's attack on a military recruitment center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, CNN global affairs analyst Kimberly Dozier -- formerly of CBS -- fretted that the American "public" will perceive the rampage as a "Muslim militant attack," feeding more "anti-Islamic sentiment" which could lead to Muslims committing even more terrorist attacks. Dozier:
