Penn & Teller Expose Socialist Roots To Environmental Hysteria

Photo of Noel Sheppard.

In 2003, Showtime's Penn & Teller program with a name not appropriate above the fold -- unless, of course, you're a member of the Netroots! -- marvelously exposed what's behind the global warming and environmental hysteria in America today.

The videos have just come available on YouTube.

In part one (embedded right), the comedy team accurately depicted environmentalists as political and social activists who use green rhetoric to "cloak agendas that actually have more to do with anti-corporatism, anti-globalization, anti-business, and very little to do with science and ecology."

Exactly. Parts two and three are embedded below the fold with a warning that these videos contain mild vulgarity. Actually, it's typically one word that most shouldn't find too offensive for it properly characterizes what's behind all this nonsense:

How delicious.

In reality, there's so much in these three videos, highlighting anything is unfair.

However, in part one, Jillette beautifully stated:

It's important to note that if you're pro-socialism, or anti-globalism, or anti-corporation, those are all fine, debatable ideas. But couching them in environmentalism is bullshit! Just say what you mean. Don't say, "Corporations are bad because the water is worse today," because the water ISN'T worse today! We're not going to say there are no good arguments to socialism, but the environment ain't one of them!

EXACTLY! Bravo! Encore!

*****Update: This episode first aired on April 3, 2003. I'm still looking for video of the "Being Green" episode which aired this past Thursday. Will share it when I find it.

Noel. It was just as good, the second time. Did you catch at 5:15 into the 2nd segment, the caption,"Ice sheet after Surge? (would Obama support that surge?)"

Ted Turner (I didn't see anything bad in North Korea) on Charlie Rose, a while back:

Not doing it will be catastrophic. We'll be eight degrees hotter in ten, not ten but 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals.

Great find.

Good for Penn and Teller for keeping these issues distinct and judging them separately.

   I live in coal country.

I live in coal country. The ground beneath my home was strip-mined decades before I bought the land. I own about 100 stripped acres and to look at it, my little piece of the American Dream has recovered almost perfectly. But it took nearly 50 years and a lot of hard work on my part -- thousands of spruce saplings hand dug.

I love that  ground; it is as much a part of me as I am of it.

But beneath the surface, 2 to 6 inches, is a rocky mess that is incapable of holding water in the hot summer months.  Even with regular watering, plants not especially resistant to near drought conditions die off in August.

The bigger point revolves around Mr. Penn's contention that the water is "NOT WORSE OFF TODAY" --

The veracity of that statement depends on just where you live. If you live in a big city with a modern treatment plant, then yes, your water is actually safer today than at any other time in modern history.  If you live in a remote, super-rural area of the US with little or no resources available to surface mining operations then your water is also close to pristine.

But, and this is the "but" that comedian/magician Teller overlooks, BUT if you live in Appalachian Coal Country, even the areas where the coal's all gone, the water has run red for decades.  The streams are actually red, so red you can see it from the bridges. So red that it smells of rotten eggs. So tainted that such creeks can't even be stocked with trout in the spring. It's just too dirty. Even the steams that run clear can't sustain native trout stock and barely support anything native bigger than a couple scrawny bass.

These red streams are "dead zones." To tell me that the water is just fine, that complaining about the environmental impact of economic decisions made 40 or 50 years ago is clandestine socialism -- well, frankly, that's ridiculous.

Mr Penn should stick to the jokes and his magic routine. Or, if willing, come to western Pennsylvania and tell me if the water -- this filthy, 50 yr. old, stinking water is not worse today than it was in the past. This isn't just one township, borough, or county. These stinking streams dot the landscape in large regions across mining country.

Maybe you didn't bother to watch the videos

Maybe you didn't bother to watch the videos, no wait, you must not have, forget the maybe. It was acknowledged that there are some spots where enviornmental upkeep hasn't been given the attention it should regarding industrial involvement but OVERALL...OVERALL regarding WATER...it IS BETTER.

Sorry your specific AREA has problems and you CHOSE to purchase land that you spent 50 years FIGHTING good sense that would have recognized the conditions YOU CHOSE to deal with and found more user friendly acreage. But that has NOTHING to do with GLOBAL WARMING and the condition of water world wide.

Next Please! If you claim to be a conservative, please don't disgrace yourself and conservatism by thinking and arguing like a liberal.

FK

FK,

You made some derogatory statements in yesterday's Joe Klein thread. I asked you to back them up. Are you either going to, or apologize for what you wrote? Here's the link: http://newsbusters.o...

You can answer here or there. If you don't, I'll pay absolutely no attention to anything you post here again. ns

Derogatory? No.  I will

Derogatory? No.

I will apologize and whole heartedly if you will admit that Obama is not a Muslim.

FK

FK,

The onus was upon you to back up your statement. Since you won't, and have shown to have no character, have a nice life. ns

Yesterday you implied that

Yesterday you implied that it is unfair, even un-American to question the religious affiliation of political candidate's staff/backers.

Do you think that people on the right side of the political discourse, maybe even people associated with this website, not you specifically, insinuate that Obama is a muslim? Do you think that it is fair to even raise such questions in light of your statements yesterday?

If Noel didn't do it why are you asking him to apologize? You said you won't apologize for your behavior until he apologized for calling Obama a muslim. Then you admit he never did it. Can you just leave?

July 25, 2008 - 15:49 ET by flashking (emphasis added)

Oh, and by the way Noel, when you ask -- "Is the religious affiliation of a presidential candidate's backers imprtant?" -- you already know that the reality is the exact opposite of your delicious little opinion. You want to pretend that it doesn't matter and that nobody considers such incidentals while all the while secretly distrusting Obama because you and Drudge and Rush and Hannity and any other ideologue hints that he might be a closet muslim. You encourage such religious distrust all the time; so when your mock outrage shows up in essays like this I think it stinks to High Heaven.

July 25, 2008 - 16:10 ET by Noel Sheppard

FK,

Can you find some articles of mine where I've hinted that Obama might be a closet Muslim?

I await your next utterance with great eagerness. ns

So, by that you mean that

So, by that you mean that Obama is probably a muslim. Although you can't be sure, there's just something "UNKNOWN" about him.

If you cannot find where Noel said or implied Obama was a Muslim, you owe him an apology. Simple as that. Why does Noel have to admit he is not a Muslim when he never said even came close to saying such a thing ?

Frigid!

Sheesh, Jer, it's not his fault that Guiteau was having a bad day.  It was even less his fault that though the gunshot wasn't fatal, the health care at that time was atrocious.  An X-Ray machine would have saved him most likely just by finding the bullet, but they wouldn't be available for another 14+ years.

He might have turned out to be a noteworthy President, but we will never know...thanks to Mr. Guiteau.

Whoever casts a vote for Barack Obama is nothing more than a common thief.  Whoever fails to vote against him is nothing more than a moral coward.

Right, Unsane...I think it

Right, Unsane...I think it was either Garfield or McKinley that the Doctors probably had more of a hand in the death than the assassin--with their overzealous probing and all. Plus I think McKinley had gained about fifty pounds eating rather heartily at the White House. Seems like they tried to use magnets on one of them. And wasn't there something about the springs in the mattress that interfered with the treatment? I need to do some googling I guess.

Jer

Assassinations

Garfield was essentially killed by his doctors; he was shot on 2 July 1881 and he died on 14 September.  McKinley was assassinated on (I believe) 7 September 1901, but he didn't linger very long (and neither did Czolgosz, his assassin).

Whoever casts a vote for Barack Obama is nothing more than a common thief.  Whoever fails to vote against him is nothing more than a moral coward.

Unsane

Isn't there some conspiracy theory parallel between the Garfield/Arthur and Kennedy/Johnson Presidencies?

Not that I subscribe to conspiracies, mind you.

  • LYDSEXICS UNTIE

Cool...

Unsane may be aware of something, but I'm not. Do you mean a conspiracy parallel that would tie the V-Ps to their Presidents' deaths? Of course Johnson's involvement has been speculated on--along with about twenty other Kennedy assassination conspiracies. And, as I am sure you are aware, there ARE quite a number of eerie parallels between the Lincoln and JFK assassinations.

Jer

Garfield.

Charles Guiteau shot Garfield twice, shouting “I am a Stalwart. Arthur is now President”.

OK, he was a lone assassin, certifiably crazy (acording to whom?).

Garfield and Arthur were't exactly bosom buddies.

  • LYDSEXICS UNTIE

I note he was hanged within a year..

It's still quite a leap from corresponding interests to conspiring to murder.

Apparently, the "mental derangement" defense didn't hold much sway in a Presidential assassination trial.

Jer

Well, Yes

I don't buy into conspiracies either, but I ran across one of those book review things on CSPAN a couple of years ago that tried to sell the story.  Interesting enough, but no sale.

  • LYDSEXICS UNTIE

Irony, not conspiracy

Not a conspiracy between 1881 and 1963, but an eerie series of coincidences between 1865 and 1963.  I first ran across this as a sixth grader.  "Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin hid in a warehouse; Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran into a theater." etc etc etc.

Whoever casts a vote for Barack Obama is nothing more than a common thief.  Whoever fails to vote against him is nothing more than a moral coward.

I'm sorry, who was it that

I'm sorry, who was it that made you buy that land (at an extreme discount I am sure you never complained about)? I guess the heat that the coal provided to keep people alive in the cold winter should never have been provided so that you could chose to live on the side of a mountain with coal in it. I also fail to see how that affects the quality of the water you drink. Would coal improve the quality of your water? Never heard someone make that arguement.

"But it took nearly 50 years and a lot of hard work on my part -- thousands of spruce saplings hand dug."

You planted trees. I didn't buy strip mined land and I had to do that too. You can also hire landscapers, they can also do it for you. Were we talking about coal or planting trees? How was there a connection again? Did the trees put the coal back? I thought everything died in August anyway. Did you do that every year for 50 years. You know they say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

"But beneath the surface, 2 to 6 inches, is a rocky mess that is incapable of holding water in the hot summer months."

So adding coal back in (another rock) would help that? Sorry but you lost me there.

"The bigger point revolves around Mr. Penn's contention that the water is "NOT WORSE OFF TODAY" --  The veracity of that statement depends on just where you live."

No, not really. Water goes into the ground and leads to tributaries and eventually end up in the ocean. The Ohio River where I live is dark brown. Has nothing to do with coal. Its mud. Water from all over drain into the river bringing mud and everything else in the ground with it. The same is true for your water. Mining doesn't add red to water. The "red" clay/mud was there before and after the mining. Ever been to yellowstone national park. The water smells sulfery too, guess why? There's sulfer it in. Maybe your water smells like sulfer because....there's sulfer in it. The mining didn't add sulfer to your ground. What creates clean water is what we humans do to filter it. If you do nothing plan on getting sick. Talk to the pioneers in the 1700's in western PA (before mining).

We have a park called red river gorge nearby. Wonder why its called that? There is red clay all over and it drains into the water making it red. The only difference is there was no coal mining here. You report that your water is red seems less than alarming and having little to do with coal.

End of the day. When you bought you "dream home" did you know the land was strip mined? Yes! (Funny my dreams never included living on strip mined land) Did you buy it anyway at a discount? Yes!

I thought you weren't

I thought you weren't supposed to be able to grow anything on strip mined land? There goes that theory.

I would say the gulf looks better around here, as compared to 40 years ago. Pelicans were almost gone in the 50's and 60's. They're back. Even with all those years of off shore drilling. Imagine that.

There are still real problems to deal with. Imaginary ones get in the way. Or imaginary problems creating real problems. (Like lost of forest and rain forest to grow fuel when we can drill.)

You're deflecting. Answer a simple question: Is a concern for the environment a socialistic trick?  Are environmentalists just trying to eliminate private property through the Trojan Horse of concerned citizenship?

Is that your position?

With you on the intent of the videos..

They had the founder of Greenpeace  telling us what has happened to the organization.. and then he explained how several of their main points are wrong.

I have no problem with wanting a clean environment and not polluting..

But these organizations are anti-capatilistic and most certainly socialist/ commie in nature.

There is a ton of info on the net on these groups,, try junkscience.com , or consumerfreedom.com for starters..

The people in the organization had no real answers to any of the questions... it's just a bunch crap.

NOBAMA 08 !!!

I'm not a lunatic but my

I'm not a lunatic but my position is that taken by a lunatic. Thanks for that clarification.

Let me help you understand my position. The people in the video are the same people who support higher taxes on energy, restrictions on people's use of their own land, and more regulation by government. Socialism is government power of the means of production. If the government takes more of your money, restricts the use of your land, and stops business from producing products through burdensome regulations (See cap and trade as a more recent example) then what would you call it? I never used the word conspiracy. In fact I think the movement makes it quite clear they hate capitalism. When earth liberation front (ELF) burns down houses, or cars because they hate development they are quite clear about it. No conspiracy at all.

I don't remember anyone here saying all people who care about the environment are socialists. I am talking about the movement that has been taken over by radicals. The video demonstrates the movement for what it is, a group of ignorant followers without any knowledge or facts, and people who hate American capitalism. Those people who protested, saying they hated corporations and greed were not socialists? If you'd stop and think rather than feel for a second you might see reality, but go ahead and call me names again since you can't actually back up any of your statements. You still have not addresses any of my points. You merely accuse and accuse people. I have three posts full of points made against things you've said, none of which you refute. You call my position idiotic but have no idea what my position is until this post. I was merely responding to the nonsense you posted that didn't make sense and your defense of the radicals on the video.

Like beads on a string, the

Like beads on a string, the thread that links all of your comments together is the belief that anyone who disagrees with you is some kind of radical.

Just real quick, here's a refutation. Strip mining and even drilling gas wells can influence local water conditions. It's called the water table. By disturbing the deep rock structure beneath our feet.... blah, blah, blay.

No matter what I say you will still believe what you believe.

But here's one even simpler -- you said that it is only human effort that cleans our water "just ask the settlers" in the 1700's in Western Pa. Well, well, well.  Those settlers certainly didn't need modern filtration facilities just to drink a cup of water.  In fact, many of the old time wells in our are, wells that used to provide the only source of potable water for a couple of households now "run red."

There are also a few major springs that were once abundant fresh water supplies that are no longer fit to be used for livestock.

I know, I hate capitalism. Someone said I must be drinking red Kool-Aid to believe such things. I say, come and drink some of this water and tell me if you still believe that I'm just a socialist in disguise and not someone with a valid story to tell.

Flash is you think you have

Flash if you think you have been misunderstood then perhaps you should step back and and reform you argument into less inflammatory pieces.  And if you cant do that then step back till you fall off the edge of the earth.

Nuke em til they glow then shoot em in the dark.

Freakin hilarious...

"But beneath the surface, 2 to 6 inches, is a rocky mess that is incapable of holding water in the hot summer months."

Uh, I live in the Southern part of Appalachia on a beautiful mountain that has the same darn problem, "a rocky mess" everywhere, only thing is, my property was never mined for anything. So you bought crappy land, I'd say you were foolish.

45 Communist Goals for America http://www.nationmakers.com/com_goals.htm

Sounds to me like you've

Sounds to me like you've been drinking some of that red water. Or maybe it was just cherry kool aid.

I find it interesting that

I find it interesting that you would plant Spruce saplings while stating that because of mining some 50 years ago that beneath the surface, 2 to 6 inches, it is a rocky mess.

Spruce grow to be 50 - 75' high and therefore, require about 5'- 8' of root system below the surface and at least an equal amount from the epicenter of the tree.  This seems hardly the type of tree or little if anything for that matter that would survive if it really is such a mess just several inches below the surface.

So, which is it?  The Spruce trees are thriving making your statement about what is below the surface untrue or they are not.

Regardless of your answer, this has little to do with the videos referenced.  In fact, the jest of the videos is that we have to stop this ridiculous hysteria that is so-called "global warming" and other such nonsense and have a rational discussion of where we are and what to do about it.

From what I have studied and from just living on the planet for a while, there is little if any evidence that global warming is occuring at all.  Let alone that it is man-made.

25 years ago I planted 5000

25 years ago I planted 5000 mixed spruce seedlings on a portion of my ground. About 1500 of those trees survive today. The tallest of which is a Blue Spruce about 18 feet high.  That size tree can grow in the soil I'm describing.

Furthermore, Noel Sheppard chose a quote about water quality not global warming and that was what I was responding to. Penn the magician is linking socialism with environmentalism and I disagree with the entire idea. I'm concerned about the environment but do not believe in the government confiscation of private property.

 Environmentalism=The New

Environmentalism=The New Communism. Green is the new Red. It really is no more difficult than that. Let's don't forget that the "environment" is the lefts religion.

"We say humans stand apart from the world and our charge is Planet Earth; they say we are part of the world, and our hubristic use of nature is sinful".

"We believe in populating the Earth until there's standing room only and then colonizing Mars; they believe humans are in the twilight of their existence".

These are the very same folks who believed Rachel Carson and thereafter doomed millions of Africans and Southeast Asians to death from malaria, a disease controlled by DDT, the one and only pesticide proven to kill the mosquito responsible for causing it.

Penn & Teller rule.

I love P&T, I love most heretics for that matter. They angered a lot of my magic buddies after they "exposed" a few of our lame tricks. Any person who will speak out for what's right without caving in to political party Bullsh!t is alright in my book.

BTW, Don't watch BS if you're a F*cking P*ssy ... or if your wife's a prude ... or if children are within earshot!

Limbaugh

I'm sure everyone who suscribes to NB knows this, but Rush has been saying this for twenty years.

Yes, Rush Limbaugh was onto

Yes, Rush Limbaugh was onto the environmental movement's socialist tendancies before the term "man made global warming" was coined.

I hope God will forgive me

But everytime I see groups of these dope smoking, commie, hippies.

I want to break out a water cannon and hit them for hours...

NOBAMA 08 !!!

I hope you will forgive me

I hope you will forgive me but every time I hear one of these pill popping, illegal Viagra taking, deaf because of drug addiction conservative radio hosts talking about personal responsibility, self-discipline, and the virtues of tougher sentencing restrictions for non-violent drug offenders I just can't help thinking that we now live in an aristocracy.

In this country today poor people go to jail and do hard time. People like Rush just brush their troubles aside and get re-upped for 400 million dollars: Millions upon millions just to lecture poor people about the virtue of self control and the value of self-denial while he himself can't hear because he poisoned himself with pain killers.

Oh well. Congratulations Rush on 20 Years of Excellence In Broadcasting.

You are so in trouble. : ]

You are so in trouble. : ] Thing is you don't have to listen to Rush, but we will suffer with the consequences of the left gone wild. BTW your tolerance is humbling

"Television is a freak show" Bernie Goldberg

Flash Prince..You need to read the San. Francisco Newspapers

And learn how Illegal Immigrant Felons are Killing people while out on Bail in a Sanctuary City in America....and then maybe you can understand that the Bleeding heart Liberal "tolerance" is  killing people...

Rush hasn't killed anyone yet.....but he may help Obama's Presidential  aspirations to "Expire".

The Republican Revolution will not be Televised

If it's ok for Rush to

If it's ok for Rush to indulge in this activity without jail time, why is it criminal for some punk down the street to smoke a joint in his basement with a friend? Why is one a criminal and the other is not? Why does one guy need to be made a lesson of and the other goes back to Palm Beach to preach on a golden microphone about personal responsibility?

I don't know but that seems aristocratic to me. Two different systems of justice: one for the affluent and famous and one for the average guy from the heartland.

Do you have a single bit of proof that Rush's hearing loss had anything to do with drug use?

Do you have a single quote from Rush about tougher sentencing restrictions for non-violent drug offenders?

As to the last 12 words, who is the conspiracy theory guy again? We live in an aristocracy. Who please let us know is in charge of this aristocracy with Rush and why is Stevens on the Supreme Court if there is an aristocracy running the country lead by Rush? Didn't you call me a conspiracy theorist? A lunitic conspiracy theorist no less. Hmmm.

I hope your response is more intelligent than calling my "position" lunatic.

look up the word

look up the word "Aristocracy" and then get back to me.

I know the definition of the

I know the definition of the word. Thanks for demonstrating that you are an ass once again. You failed to refute anything I said once again. I'm done with you. You are not worth my time.

Have you done something to me???? Flash King.

If not I have no reason to forgive you.. but if it makes you feel better... I'll give you a get out of jail free card??
I don't listen to Rush,,, so you're barking up the wrong tree...
Apparently I hit a nerve,,, are you one of the tree hugging, dope smoking, hippies????

Socialism is for suckers and those with wealth envy or the just plain lazy... take your pick..
Hippies suck b@lls...

NOBAMA 08 !!!

Flash do you have a problem

Flash do you have a problem with harsh senetencing for criminals?  Last I heard it was a good thing.  Self Discipline is good too.  Some of the most vile sinners in history have taught us lessons and morals we go by today.  Do you have a problem with that?  BTW I was thinking of Saul of Tarsus and what a dispicable human piece of scum he was.  And to think what good things came out of him.

Nuke em til they glow then shoot em in the dark.

Big Papa, don't worry

He will forgive you.  After all, he is a conservative.

I lost count how many times I posted this episode here over the last year, anyway the YouTube links will not stay up for long. This has been on YouTube so many times it is not even funny but eventually they will get it taken down. I don't even bother linking to YouTube anymore for P&T Episodes. Here are some more links for when these go offline:

I don't know--nor

I don't know--nor particulary care--where Jillette stands politically. I do know, after reading an article years ago "penned" by him, that the man is not only funny as hell, but also smart as a whip.

Jer

Jer, Judging by their

Jer,

Judging by their B***S*** series, I think it's fair to say that Penn and Teller are, or at least consider themselves to be, Libertarian.  They're against the death penalty, in favor of legalized prostitution, they did a good expose on PETA and on landfills.  The show is really entertaining...a lot of times their studio cut-aways contain the best parts.  My wife and I were in Vegas in February of 2007, and I remember seeing Penn Jilette being interviewed there one Sunday morning by Wolf Blitzer.  Blitzer asked him if he was excited by any of the Democratic candidates for President, Jilette said no.  Blitzer followed up with the inane "not even Barack Obama?"...let me remind you this was February 2007, not February 2008...and Jilette shot him this look as if to say "what part of no don't you understand".  I saw Wolf Blitzer on the Strip later that afternoon...and I said something to him that I'm not particularly proud of (not that he would remember or was in any way concerned at the time).  I don't agree with all of their positions, but I do find myself on their side more often than not.  And they're damn funny doing their show.

Marching

FK have you ever seen people marching with signs asking for Dirty water ? dirty air and for more pollution? Got the hint?

Dear acadia 1755,

Dear acadia 1755,

    Got grammar?

The Commissar of Grammar

When you HAVE to call people out for grammar instead of the substance of what they wrote, you lose the argument.

Whoever casts a vote for Barack Obama is nothing more than a common thief.  Whoever fails to vote against him is nothing more than a moral coward.

Unsane, you are abosolutely

Unsane, you are abosolutely right. This guy is not serious. He can't refute anything you say. He just brings up some silly new quible with something you say to keep you on defense. He'll never confront your actual arguement because he's bankrupt of any real ideas or thought. His arguements make no sense and after he is confronted he changes the conversation. Typical liberal ploy.

Earlier he ended a sentence with ".?" He calls you out on grammer. HA!

I want to point out

I want to point out something. After I posted something at RC that the moderator aopparently didn't like. But did admit I was correct about, no further post were accepted.

How many post has Noel allowed?

Paradigm shift?

It dawned on me today that the left only has two BIG issues, AGW and the war in Iraq. As each day it's becoming harder and harder for them to push the war issue because it's going exceedingly well now. AGW is another story. It seems like they have cooled down (too early in this sentence for a pun, but...) on the war and putting more of their efforts into AGW.

For the last few years anyone that supports the war and supports the global war on terrorism has been labeled a "fearmonger". I never did subscribe to the fearmonger crap because reality cancels out that stupid claim. However, we may be seeing a paradigm shift because the veracity of how the lefty loonies are claiming we will all be dead by such-and-such a year if we don't stop cow farts. It has become crystal clear who the real fearmongers are. I propose that the true fearmongers are Al Gore and his flock of imbiciles.

It may be beneficial to start calling the left what they really are, FEARMONGERS!

But yeah, I've been saying it forever. Liberals project, and the fact is, everything they've been peddling and spewing -- between the politicians and the MSM -- has been OVER THE TOP F-E-A-R:

- Recession is coming! Recession is coming!! Is it here? Is it here??

- We're in a "climate crisis"!.... climate crisis!!!

- Corporations are evil! Down with corporations!!

- More economic woes forecasted!

- Food is unsafe! Where is our government when we need them!!

Meanwhile, terrorists increasingly killed us and people around the world by the thousands for decades, with radical islam spreading like wildfired, and yet the ones who want to truly fight it -- Conservatives -- are fearmongers. Mind-numbing.

Though not a fan of Penn and

Though not a fan of Penn and Teller I must admit this was excellent. Bravo to them both!

Socialism is a growing problem in our country and like a cancer it is growing out of control.  We, the people, had best cut the head off the snake now.

We do this by educating the masses as Penn and Teller have done in this brilliant series of videos.
