Anti-Trump Protest Turns Into Real Life Slapstick Comedy

Have you ever enjoyed a good bellylaugh watching Mack Sennett or Charlie Chaplin slapstick comedies? Of course, such movies were carefully produced. Such comedy perfection could only happen in reel life but not in real life. Well, meet Stephanie Mercades, the inadvertent star of a real life slapstick comedy. Before viewing her hilarious performance as an utterly inept anti-Trump protester, we shall let the New York Post set up the slapstick comedy scene

A woman with a huge bouquet of yellow dahlias, the national flower of Mexico, tried her best to deliver them to the doorstep of Donald Trump — but her petaled protest quickly turned into a comedy show when she was unable to navigate her way through a revolving door.

Clutching 1,000 flowers in her arms as if she were competing in the Atlas Stone event at the World’s Strongest Man competition, Stephanie Mercades attempted to make a statement Monday as she dropped off the plants in front of the Trump Tower in Manhattan, TMZ reported.

Each dahlia also contained a note from a Latin immigrant that sarcastically thanked Trump for his controversial views on Mexicans and immigration.

But when it came time to make her grand entrance, gravity reared its ugly head and caused Mercades to fumble the flowers in epic fashion.

...After several more minutes of hilarity, Trump Tower security guards come outside and confiscate the flowers, leaving Mercades with just a single dahlia to remember them by.

I love how she thought the security guards were helping her to bring the flowers through the revolving door so she lent them a hand to place the petals in the plastic bag only to be left with a flabbergasted look on her face when a guard simply walked away with them. The final slapstick comedy touch was her expression of utter helpless exasperation when after that frustration, somebody gave her one lone flower...the end result of all her wasted protest effort.

Exit Question: Would it be possible to speed up the video and add Benny Hill theme music?
