Another Fake 'Lifelong Republican' Exposed

  • Bookmark and Share

This is a favorite meme of the left. In fact, apart from Ace's parody of the same, I've never seen a "lifelong Democrat" claim to be, for the first time ever (!) voting Republican in an election. Probably because it's lame and fools no one.

It certainly won't keep them from trying. Over and over and over again.

The latest example is  "lifelong Republican," Tony Dean. Courtesy the Buckeye Firearms Association,

A "lifelong Republican" that is "switching parties to head a Sportsmen for Obama group"? This is an interesting claim, given that Dean was mentioned by the Sioux Falls Argus Leader in 2003 as a possible Democratic candidate for Congress who endorsed Democrat Senator Tim Johnson for reelection just a year earlier.

But this isn't the only evidence that Tony Dean isn't who he says he is, he has a long history of supporting anti-2nd Amendment candidates.

On his website, Dean posts the press releases of and writes favorably about the American Hunters and Shooters Association, yet another faux gun group whose President, Ray Schoenke, has a long history of giving political donations to some of the nation's most anti-gun politicians, including Al Gore, John Kerry, Barbara Boxer, Bill Clinton, Dianne Feinstein, and Ted Kennedy. In 2000, Schoenke donated $5,000 to Handgun Control, Inc. (now the Brady Campaign) and the Ray and Holly Schoenke Foundation also made donations to the Brady Campaign.

As you navigate the serengeti-web, beware wolves in sheep's clothing. "Lifelong" Republicans supporting Obama and other Democratic candidates probably haven't voted Republican since Reagan was on the ticket, if ever.

Lifelong Democrat

For whatever it's worth, I'm a lifelong Democrat who's quite conservative. I first registered as a Democrat while living in Mississippi mainly because back then conservative Democrats not only actually existed back then but were fairly common in the state. I now live in Florida and the Democrat affiliation carried over. I would change my affiliation from Democrat to Independent but the local elections office makes it extremely difficult to do so. Therefore I just keep the affiliation and vote Republican.

Interesting

Last night I was with a group of about 25 people, most of whom are Democrats. Most of them voted for John Kerry in 2004. I avoided discussions about politics because I knew they would gang up on me.

I was wrong. Very few are voting for Barak Obama. I fretted that race might be the issue because despite what the media charges against Republicans, all the hard core racists I know are Democrats. Anyone out of the group who will not cast a ballot for Senator Obama were deeply troubled and offended by his votes to kill the "Born Alive" legislation. They were ardent in their opposition to Obama. There's nothing his campaign can do to get them back. They're furious that he's the nominee.

They were in the wilderness until McCain picked Palin as his running mate.

None of them knew about Obama's association with William Ayers, so I educated them on the issue. I think I might have flipped a couple of holdouts in that discussion.

My point is, is that you won't hear any discussion about lifelong Democrats fleeing from the Obama bandwagon because the moron didn't realize that he supported infanticide. Or maybe he did? Instead, you get someone who claims he's a Republican joining some goofy, fabricated gun club.

Of course, I live in the rural South. I spend most of my time working and talking to rural Southerners, so my views on things are a little skewed.

Another lie expositated.

Republicans get mad at their party because they stray from their principles and tell them get their heads on straight.

Democrats get mad at their party because they lie and tell them to get lost.

The liberal e-army is out in force trying to alter reality.

I saw this multiple repeat post on a cnn ireport comment section.  Guy said he was a Republican since 18, but "This coming election will be the 1st time in my political history that I will vote for the Democrat ticket"

Might have not have been a 100% obvious plant if the message didn't repeat  dozens of times.  I made sure sure to do a screen cap in case CNN decided to "clean up" their little propaganda website.

Obama the Marxist Tony Dean the Trotskyite

So very glad you exposed this as you do not know the half of it.

Tony Dean has been exposed by South Dakota sportspeople for the judas he is. No one trusts him in the midwest and after he jumped in bed with Tim Johnson his sports show (His sports show consisted of Tony laughing for 10 minutes about something he said, 2 minutes of him lecturing into the camera and 18 minutes of his half hour show filled with commercials.) couldn't get any sponsors.

Dean tried 3 times after his program was cancelled to get it back on the air. The NBC and ABC stations both dropped it after 3 show trials and went to Kent Hrbeck Outdoors.

Tony Dean is no sportsman. What he is is the kings deer patrician who thinks he gets to hunt with his fee hunting buddies, pricing licenses out of peoples ability to pay them.
The jerk movement which has guns, fishing equipment, ammunition etc... so high now to get people away from the outdoors so only the elite have it is what Dean is all about.

I like many people know Tony Dean. He is an old sour man who has tracked down and harassed people who dare to disagree with his liberal rants. If someone asks him to answer a question, it was only a go buy it at the department store answer.

He backed Tim Johnson over John Thune the brilliant GOP Conservative in the Senate now, so it gives you the real idea of what Dean is all about.
For that matter, Tim Johnson is now too disabled to debate for the Senate seat, but thinks that seat is his benefit now he is enthroned upon.

Tony Dean is a lifelong patrician who made a fortune off of American wildlife which every American here paid for in their tax money. He has given nothing back and now has crawled out from under his rock to join another low life in Barack Obama.

Obama is currently using a downs syndrome baby as a poltical weapon. Real class there and exactly what Tony Dean is in classless.

I take exception Mr. Lybbert. Tony Dean didn't vote for Ronald Reagan, he was busy filling out his Kremlin ballot for Leonid Brezhnev that year.

Barack Obama is a Marxist and Tony Dean is a Trotsky tag along.

Please and I mean please keep featuring updates on this dynamic dunce duo of Dean and Johnson. They deserve to be exposed for ilk they are forever as a monument here on the internet.
