Don't go just yet!

On Wednesday’s episode of The Late Show, Colbert urged Americans to stay in their home country. “I can understand why Canada is so attractive,” the host sympathized, “you’ve got the free health care, and a prime minister who looks like the prince from Tangled. But listen up there,” he continued. “Everybody out there who’s saying ‘I’m gonna move to Canada’: You don’t get to flee when things get rough here. Being an American citizen is like family. You’re in it whether you like it or not.” Glenn Beck urged a similar approach in his touching New York Times op ed

It’s a good thing Amy and Chelsea are friends, ‘cause they almost ended up neighbors. "My act will change because I'll need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain, or somewhere," Schumer said in a BBC Newsnight interview. "It's beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It's too crazy." However, on Wednesday, the comedienne took to Instagram to inform her followers that the comment was made “in jest.”

Apparently, Handler already owns a European home. "I did buy a house in another country just in case, so all of these people that threaten to leave the country and then don't, I will leave the country," she said in May on "Live with Kelly and Michael." However, the star of the Netflix show Chelsea also tearfully indicated her plans to stay on the Wednesday episode. "It's so easy to say throw in the towel and that we're going to leave or I'm going to move to Spain, because I want to move to Spain. I really, really want to move to Spain right now." Her coworkers seemingly convinced her to remain for the good of the cause. "Everyone in my office is like 'You have a responsibility, you have a voice and you need to use it, and you have to be here,'" she explained.

I’m moving to Canada. It’s over.” But when NY Mag writer Kathleen Hou later asked whether Rose was serious in her intention, she walked back. “I doubt it. I’m just stuck here. I got my baby here. Canada is way too cold. I love living in L.A.”

“If any Republican gets nominated I’m going to be moving to Canada with my entire family. I already have my ticket booked,” she said on a February episode of The View. The star even recorded a video of herself on a brief trip to Vancouver to check out Canadian life. The actress and show host has not made any comments about her current plans. However, at the end of the pre-election video, she received a call about a new acting opportunity in L.A. She excitedly exclaimed: "I'm coming home, I'm coming back to America, that's right, I'm coming home!"
