Country singer Miranda Lambert thinks it’s “pretty badass” to get a pistol for Christmas.
The 32-year-old star appeared on the cover of the Jan. 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan. Inside, she spoke with Cosmo’s Katie L. Conner about Christmas presents she’s received from fans.
When Connor asked about the “the crazier gifts you’ve gotten from fans,” Lambert pointed to “one guy who’s been a fan for a long time.”
That fan, Lambert gushed, sends her firearms for Christmas.
“It sounds weird, but he sends me pistols for Christmas, which is awesome,” Lambert said. “What other person can say my fans send me pistols for Christmas? It’s pretty badass.”
As a cop’s daughter, Lambert isn’t a gun rights activist – but she supports the right to own a gun.
“I don’t have a stance on anything except what I was taught from day one: gun safety,” she told Connor. “I’m not all about gun rights and all this stuff. But I live by myself now, so yeah, I have a pistol, are you crazy?”
Just goes to show, Hollywood's general disgust of guns doesn't speak for all celebrites.
