On Monday, CBS This Morning aired an exclusive interview with conservative billionaire Charles Koch and reporter Anthony Mason repeatedly played up how his money has “bought him influence, it has also bought him disdain. You’ve effectively made yourself a target.” Mason repeatedly questioned Koch’s decision to donate millions of dollars to conservative candidates and wondered “[d]o you think it's good for the political system that so much what’s called dark money is flowing into the process now?”

On Monday, CBS This Morning did its best to play up how the current battle among House Republicans to pick their next Speaker could do lasting damage to the party’s 2016 White House chances. Co-host Anthony Mason introduced the segment by declaring “there is new concern that the Republican disarray on Capitol Hill could hurt the party's presidential chances.”

On Sunday’s Face the Nation, National Journal reporter Ron Fournier accused Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson of “putting a target on government officials” after the retired neurosurgeon stressed the need for Americans to have the right to protect themselves from an oppressive government.

On Sunday’s Meet the Press, Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker did her best to give Hillary Clinton the “benefit of the doubt” after she has flipped her position on a number of policy issues, most recently her sudden opposition to TPP. Parker acknowledged that Clinton would never admit to changing her positions for “political expedience” in order to satisfy Bernie Sanders' supporters, but she stressed that you “can give her the benefit of the doubt too.”

Last night, Saturday Night Live used its cold opening skit to wade into the Planned Parenthood scandal and the “stomach churning” undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress. SNL opened with a skit featuring a recreation of Fox and Friends and cast member Vanessa Bayer initially tried to downplay the videos. While portraying Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Bayer joked that Planned Parenthood was “selling baby parts on Snapchat.”

On Wednesday night’s Kelly File, Fox News hosts Dana Perino and Howard Kurtz had some harsh words for the upcoming movie “Truth” which attempts to tell the story of how a fake story about the National Guard service of George W. Bush resulted in the downfall of CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather.

On Thursday, the hosts of CBS This Morning repeatedly urged Ohio Governor John Kasich to criticize his fellow Republicans for being to conservative on issues ranging from ObamaCare to immigration reform. Co-host Norah O’Donnell proclaimed Kasich has “taken a risk within your party, differing on a number of issues whether it’s immigration, on gay marriage, even on ObamaCare” before she asked if the “party’s platform needs to evolve on those issues?”

On Wednesday, the co-hosts of ABC’s The View repeatedly ganged up on Republican presidential candidate John Kasich over the issue of gun control. Throughout the heated interview, Kasich stressed that mental illness was the root cause of many mass shootings that occur across the nation but the show’s cast repeatedly called for greater restrictions on gun ownership.

On Wednesday’s CBS This Morning, the show’s three hosts spent the entirety of a 7 minute interview with Dr. Ben Carson grilling the Republican presidential candidate from the left over his support for the Second Amendment. After reporter Julianna Goldman ran an anti-Carson piece during the 7:00 a.m. hour in which she played up his “controversial comments” following the Oregon school shooting, during the 8:00 hour, co-host Gayle King tried to lecture the retired neurosurgeon on the meaning behind the Second Amendment.

During a Tuesday appearance on ABC’s The View, liberal co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg repeatedly lectured Dr. Ben Carson on his pro-life views with Behar telling the GOP presidential candidate the GOP should be “applauding Planned Parenthood.” The View host obnoxiously wondered “[a]re you against birth control too?”

During an appearance on Monday’s Kelly File on Fox News, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina hit back at the Washington Post and MSNBC for accusing her of failing to pay back outstanding debt from her 2010 Senate campaign. After Fiorina explained that “the debt has been paid off,” which “the Washington Post fails to mention entirely. See facts aren’t really what the Washington Post is into anymore.”

On Tuesday’s CBS This Morning, Face the Nation moderator John Dickerson touted Hillary Clinton’s new campaign ad which blasts House Republicans investigating the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack. After House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy argued last week that the committee's discovery of Hillary’s private e-mail server had caused her poll numbers to rapidly decline, Dickerson touted the “political gift” the Republican had given to the Democratic presidential front-runner.

On Sunday’s State of the Union, conservative commentator S.E. Cupp blasted the media for distorting Jeb Bush comments after the Oregon shooting in which the Republican presidential candidate argued that “stuff happens. There's always a crisis. And the impulse is always to do something and it's not necessarily the right thing to do.”

Following the horrific shooting at an Oregon community college last week, during an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday New York Times Magazine writer Mark Leibovich conveniently blamed the NRA for preventing gun control legislation from passing Congress. The liberal journalist complained that the issue of guns is “politicized because the NRA pretty much owns more than half of Congress. That is why this issue is basically immutable. You mentioned the constitution, public opinion. The other piece is the political impossibility...”

On Sunday’s This Week, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos repeatedly hit GOP presidential frontrunner from the left over his tax plan, chastising Trump for his plan which Stephanopoulos claimed would mainly benefit the rich. Stephanopoulos demanded the Republican candidate explain why taxes should be cut at all and zeroed in on how the plan would personally benefit Trump: “Bottom line, you do accept that you're going to make out well under your tax plan?”

On Wednesday night, Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Howard Kurtz took the Washington Post to task after its “Fact Checker” blog gave Carly Fiorina 3 Pinocchios for her secretary-to-CEO career story, Kelly seemed shocked that the Post would accuse Fiorina of distorting her professional credentials and for the paper to lecture the Republican presidential candidate that “she can’t say she went from secretary to CEO is downright obnoxious Washington Post. Do better than that.”

Speaking to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush on Thursday’s Today, NBC’s Matt Lauer did his best to play up Donald Trump’s repeated attacks on his fellow Republican throughout the Republican presidential primary. During the one-on-one interview, Lauer told Bush “your resume and your pedigree are perfect for the job of president” but wondered “after several months in the race, you're losing in the polls to the host of Celebrity Apprentice. How do you get your arms around that?”

On Tuesday night, Daily Show host Trevor Noah surprisingly took time out of his second broadcast to mock Hillary Clinton’s recent softball interview with liberal actress Lena Dunham. The Comedy Central comedian introduced the segment by joking that “Hillary knows how to win the nation. First you have to win the butt-smotherers. And here's the thing, Lena Dunham loves Hillary, too.”

On Wednesday, the State Department will release 6,000 more pages of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails but NBC’s Today was the only network morning show to cover this news whereas ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning ignored the story altogether. In a full report, NBC’s Andrea Mitchell stressed that the e-mail release was a result of a “court order” which will continue the “drip, drip, drip that Hillary Clinton has acknowledged is haunting her campaign.”
