Leave it to one of the most liberal shows on television to cave to an actress who didn’t want her progressive character to play nice with a conservative character who she claims is “complicit in the oppression of so many,” and whose "politics are actively harmful.”
Well, it was nice while it lasted.
Another week, another episode of liberal lectures from the sexually graphic Freeform teen drama The Bold Type. Thursday’s episode, “To Peg or Not to Peg,” was all about how the liberal boogeyman known as “the patriarchy” is responsible for everything, from women not wanting to discuss their private parts with each other to a man not feeling comfortable dating a woman who is more dominant to Kat (Aisha Dee) having some hesitation when a man asks her to dominate him via “pegging.”
As we usher in the new year, we also get to usher in Hollywood’s many liberal shows that have come back from their winter break. Freeform’s The Bold Type is definitely at the top of the list of leftist agenda-driven shows, and Thursday’s episode “Legends of the Fall Issue” was no exception as the conservative white male characters get put in their place (once again) by the younger, woke social justice warriors.
Freeform’s liberal teen dramedy The Bold Type once again promoted a pro-abortion storyline, but this time they also went hard after pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, claiming they, “flood your brain with anti-abortion propaganda and false medical statistics,” and that they’re “run by anti-choice groups...designed to scare women away from getting medical help.”
Freeform’s teen dramedy The Bold Type took on the issue of affirmative action and diversity in the workplace in Tuesday’s episode, “Stride of Pride.” Given the network’s extremely liberal bent, you can probably imagine which side of the controversial topic the show defended while shaming a main character for not “checking her white privilege.” All amidst a backdrop of gratuitous sex scenes and a story pitch on "How to Turn Your Walk of Shame into a Stride of Pride."
Freeform’s dramedy The Bold Type is (unfortunately) back for another season, and it’s disappointingly more of the same extremely liberal, sex-obsessed, storylines.
Freeform’s The Bold Type, which centers around three young women who work at fictional Scarlet magazine (based on real-life Cosmopolitan magazine), is one of the most left-leaning, not to mention inappropriate shows, on television right now. (Freeform was formerly ABC Family and The Bold Type has been dubbed a teen drama, despite its extremely adult content.)
Perhaps the writers at The Bold Type have been reading the many stories posted here on Newsbusters about their extreme leftist slant and inappropriate material for teens and are feeling guilty for their typical, liberal Hollywood ways. Because Tuesday, August 22’s episode, “The End of the Beginning” took a shocking turn for the better by introducing a likeable, black, male conservative character. Well, the likeable part lasted for about five seconds.
The July 25 episode of The Bold Type “If You Can’t Do It with Feeling,” ran with the idea of the Trump era creating a culture of fear and hate, and used that false fear to excuse violence by the left.
Freeform’s The Bold Type, which is dubbed a teen drama and centers around three young women who work at Scarlet magazine (which is based on Cosmopolitan magazine) has pretty much covered anything and everything related to sex and beaten us over the head with it in every episode so far. So, what’s left on the leftist Hollywood agenda? Abortion, of course.
Every now and then, there comes a show that is so full of offensive material that you don’t even know where to start. Enter Freeform’s The Bold Type.
The Disney-owned Freeform channel premiered the pilot episode of it’s brand new show The Bold Type Tuesday, June 20, and though Variety magazine dubbed it a “teen drama” (Freeform was formerly ABC Family and is geared towards family programming), the show is very adult-oriented, from rampant sex scenes to sex toy demonstrations. All very not teen friendly!
