A study funded by grants from liberal billionaire George Soros claimed that conservative news outlets and figures amplified xenophobic and hateful “attacks” against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). The authors of the Social Science Research Council study found that there was “a social media narrative of manufactured outrage that was disproportionately Islamophobic, xenophobic, racist, and misogynistic.”
The attack on the conservative internet has reached a new low. Poynter, the journalism institute responsible for training writers and reporters, decided to promote a left-wing smear of conservative groups online. The result was a hit job written by someone who works for the anti-conservative Southern Poverty Law Center for a journalism organization funded by prominent liberal billionaires such as George Soros and Pierre Omidyar.
Here come the hyper-partisan hounds. A new nonprofit called American Oversight launched this week to combat President Trump's "culture of impunity." The outfit declared itself "nonpartisan" and claims its crusaders will fight for a "transparent and ethical government." But like Waylon Jennings once crooned, "Baby, that dog won't hunt." These Democrat operatives aren't interested in accountability. Their mission is to attack, obstruct and destroy their political opponents at all costs.
On the Monday edition of the Fox Business Network’s Intelligence Report, Media Research Center president Brent Bozell reiterated his hope that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will keep “to his word” and maintain a genuine “interest at the top at Facebook to go after fake news not to go after policy.” However, Bozell warned that the MRC will “have something to say big time” if he falls into a “serious” trap being sprung by ultra-liberal billionaire George Soros to silence conservatives under this guise of stopping fake news.
Students of the Watergate era (or those old enough to have lived through it) will recall the "dirty tricks" played by Richard Nixon's henchmen, most notably Donald Segretti. Segretti, who was hired by Nixon's deputy assistant, Dwight Chapin, was tasked with smearing Democrats, including senator and 1972 presidential candidate, Edmund Muskie of Maine. Among several "tricks," Segretti composed a fake letter on Muskie's letterhead falsely alleging that Sen. Henry "Scoop" Jackson (D-WA) had fathered a child with a 17-year-old girl.
On September 24, there will be a March for Choice in Dublin, and in 16 other cities; events will be held in 11 nations, including Ireland. Its proximate goal is to force the repeal of Ireland's Eighth Amendment that bans abortion; its long-term goal is to secure abortion-on-demand in other Catholic European countries.
It’s no secret that liberal billionaire George Soros is one of Planned Parenthood’s biggest donors. Now leaked documents show that the horrific videos uncovering the abortion mill’s baby parts trade only encouraged his foundation to give more.
Legal battles against state governor’s with higher political aspirations keep cropping up. But looking deeper into attacks on Republican governors from Texas, Wisconsin and Louisiana reveals George Soros’ checkbook was behind it all – but the news media aren’t about to point that out.
The group that first filed an indictment charge against Texas Gov. Rick Perry was funded by Soros, the liberal billionaire, but the trail of his money didn’t end there. Both the recall election for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and an even less successful recall attempt for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal were rooted in Soros-funded groups. Among them, these three potential Republican presidential candidates were targeted by groups receiving more than $6.3 million from Soros.
Liberal billionaire George Soros has accepted a position on the National Finance Council of the Ready For Hillary Super PAC, a group paving the way for a 2016 presidential run for the former first lady. Soros, 83, has long been a monetary influence behind liberal politics, but this is the first time he has accepted a formal role on an American political campaign. Soros has a long history of funding liberals and attacking conservatives, and spent more than $27.5 million trying to defeat President George W. Bush in 2004, including funding such groups as MoveOn.org.
The Washington Post article on this recent announcement referred to Soros as a “billionaire investor, philanthropist and backer of liberal causes,” but this significantly understates Soros’ position and influence. With a political philosophy so far left that it borders on Orwellian, Soros has had an incredible amount of influence in liberal politics through the generous endowments from his Open Society Foundations.
Blame the victim! Twenty-three liberal news operations have taken that strategy about the IRS attack on conservative nonprofits. Fifteen of the 63 members of the left-wing Media Consortium have thrown their support behind the IRS’s investigation. The 15 organizations either wrote or re-posted stories defending the IRS actions.
Another eight liberal outlets, including MSNBC, ran similar stories. Altogether, these outlets have received a combined total of more $14 million dollars from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations since 2000.
The IRS admitted to giving extra scrutiny to applications for nonprofit status from groups with words like “tea party” or “patriot” in their descriptions. After this revelation, at least 25 media outlets ran stories arguing that “The IRS was doing its job,” “the IRS was justified,” and that the only crime the IRS committed was “the sin of political correctness.”
