Rep. Marsha Blackburn
After all three networks gushed over pop star Taylor Swift endorsing the Democrat in Tennessee’s Senate race a few weeks ago, they largely ignored the GOP candidate Marsha Blackburn completely demolishing her opponent in last night’s midterm election.
While the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were busy hyping up the feud between President Trump and Tennessee Republican Senator Bob Corker Monday evening, they blacked out Twitter’s targeting of the conservative woman looking to replace the retiring Senator. Earlier in the day, Twitter blocked the advertising for a campaign video posted by Marsha Blackburn and claimed it was “'inflammatory’ & ‘negative.’”
You can’t make this stuff up. On Friday morning’s New Day, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo badgered Rep. Marsha Blackburn over defending Trump’s conservative pick for the head of the EPA asking her, “Can you be for clean air and water if you do not believe that man has a hand in global warming?”
It is a sign of the unseriousness of the mainstream media that the NBC program "Meet the Press" will be hosting a climate debate Sunday featuring a person who plays a scientist on TV.
Yes, tomorrow it is "Bill Nye the Science Guy" versus Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on NBC's "Meet the Press."
