As NewsBusters has previously reported, Seth Meyers’ new Netflix stand-up special, entitled “Lobby Baby,” has a button that allows viewers to fast-forward through the Trump jokes. According to Kevin Fallon of The Daily Beast, “you shouldn’t” because “that means skipping the exact thing he does better than anyone.” The anti-Trump Fallon devoted an entire article to explaining how “Seth Meyers Does Trump Jokes Better Than Anybody.”



On Wednesday, ABC’s hit reality dancing competition show Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) announced that former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will be cast for their 28th season and the left went crazy, reportedly making #BoycottDWTS trend on Twitter for a time and excoriating ABC for the decision.



While a guest on Varney & Co. on the Fox Business Network on Tuesday, May 16, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee criticized a skit on the most recent Saturday Night Live program that attacked his daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who serves as deputy White House press secretary for the Trump administration.



Toure gave a spirited defense of Meryl Streep and the Hollywood left on Monday's MSNBC Live, after the actress gave an anti-Donald Trump speech at Sunday's Golden Globes. The 9/11 truther contended that movie stars are "just everyday Americans who did very well." He added that "they make up a significant and valuable portion of America....they are real Americans just as well." Toure also repeatedly rebuked Trump for his counter-attack against Streep: "He should not be attacking specific Americans and dissing them as if this is some playground."



Washington Post TV critic Hank Stuever didn’t hate NBC’s three-hour “Peter Pan Live” musical. Allison Williams as the flying title character was fine (after becoming become the most promoted stage musical actress in decades, just by being on an NBC stage.)

Stuever turned the second half of his review into disgust at how relentlessly tacky NBC-Universal is in promoting its own products that it takes the smell out of Brian Williams pushing his own daughter in America’s face, since well, he makes a fraction of what Jon Stewart takes home. NBC is now "the tackiest house on the street."



Sarah Silverman's website is promoting an interview Sarah and her sister the rabbi, Susan Silverman, gave to CNN contributor (and former Bush staffer) Margaret Hoover at The Daily Beast's Women of the World summit after they spoke on April 4.

Hoover encouraged Rabbi Susan to explain again how Sarah Silverman preaches and is "in the line of the biblical prophets...but they were also less effective." (Video below)
