ABC's The View replaced Meghan McCain on Monday with CNN commentator Amanda Carpenter, who worked on Ted Cruz's presidential campaign in the last cycle. But Carpenter lined right up with Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg in defending Stormy Daniels for doing a comedy skit with Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live. She even proclaimed Daniels is taking on Trump better than the Democrats. "I hand it to her, and I hand it to Michael Avenatti! "
According to The View’s Joy Behar, “civilized” girls should still be separated from “Lord of the Flies” boys when it comes to scouting. The liberal co-host on Friday dissented from the idea that girls should be apart of the Boy Scouts, saying: “I would say my opinion of this, and it's not popular one, I don't think. I think that girls do not benefit through having boys in their midst at these young ages.”
The liberals on The View geared up to defend Michelle Wolf’s comedy routine for a second day, and Meghan McCain returned to underline how badly conservatives distrust the media elites. Whoopi Goldberg claimed “journalists are an endangered species.” But Joy Behar really took the cake by insisting that no panelist on The View ever attacked Trump voters, just Trump. That’s a Pants-on-Fire lie.
During Monday morning’s edition of NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today program, the host led an extensive discussion regarding the charges of sexual harassment against Tom Brokaw and had some words of advice for the many women who have signed a letter supporting the former NBC Nightly News anchor. Referring to her experience with the late Roger Ailes, who was the chief executive officer for Fox News until he stepped down amid allegations of sexual misconduct in July of 2016, Kelly cautioned the NBC News colleagues who signed the letter: “You don’t know what you don’t know.”
The ladies of ABC's The View unanimously defended liberal comedian Michelle Wolf's White House Correspondents Dinner routine on Monday. Whoopi Goldberg said there was a "brutal backlash" and calls for an end to the dinner. Joy Behar said "We were laughing our heads off here." Sunny Hostin attended the dinner with her old CNN pals. "DonLemon and I cackled during a lot of it."
Less than a year after Kathy Griffin was pictured holding a fake bloodied, severed head of Donald Trump last May, the far-left comedian claims that the president has a “vendetta” against her and personally ordered Secret Service agents to investigate her. Griffin made the accusations while a guest on ABC’s Start Here podcast after host Brad Mielke asked her if the President took those actions just to make her life miserable. “Of course,” she replied. “You know how he works.”
On ABC’s The View on Friday, the co-hosts discussed the prospects of peace between North Korea and South Korea, but Sunny Hostin refused to accept that President Trump deserved one ounce of credit. "This has nothing to do with Trump...I think the kudos goes to China, not Trump." Several others disagreed.
Psychologist and talk-show host Dr. Phil McGraw was the big guest on The View on Thursday, and they began by suggesting it's unfair to try and diagnose Kanye West with mental illness based on his new pro-Trump tweets. But then, that "comedian" Joy Behar asked Dr. Phil if Trump's "bromance" with French prime minister Emmanuel Macron resembled the behavior of an orangutan. So Dr. Phil diagnosed Trump from afar as engaging in a "power play," suggesting to Macron that he had a "bigger stick."
Joy Behar took a nasty shot at Melania Trump on Thursday’s The View and token conservative Meghan McCain fired back, deriding her liberal co-host as “so mean.” The women were discussing the latest on Stormy Daniels. Behar mocked: “Today is Melania's birthday. Happy birthday, Melania.”
On ABC’s The View on Monday, they brought up Kellyanne Conway’s Sunday pushback at CNN’s Dana Bash when she wrapped up the interview by bringing up tweets by Conway’s lawyer husband, George Conway. Bash asked “I just ask you one question that a lot of people are asking me, probably you too. And that is, what is up with your husband's tweets?” Conway shot back that Bash wouldn’t ask this question to a man. Sunny Hostin who used to work at CNN, fiercely defended Bash by saying Conway was "really, really slimy" to question the question.
In the wake of the funeral of Barbara Bush, The View co-host Joy Behar on Monday has decided she likes the political family. They’re so unlike the “con men and thugs” in the White House now. Apparently, Behar has forgotten that she previously smeared various Bush family members as “murderers,” “liars,” connected to Nazis and compared George W. Bush to Islamic terrorists.
Token conservative View co-host Meghan McCain on Thursday unloaded on the liberal Joy Behar when she compared Donald Trump to thug dictators like Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin. It all started when Behar sneered, “We have gotten to the point in this world now where we have to rely on the sanity of Kim Jong-un and Putin over the President of the United States. That's where we're at.”
