The Simpsons creator Matt Groening led Comic-Con in an anti-Trump chant – and the liberal media loved it. HuffPost reported July 22 that Groening led “hundreds of fans in a rousing chant: ‘Lock Him Up!’” The chant mimicked the “lock her up” chant Trump supporters had regularly chanted about Hillary Clinton.

Family Research Council just released a report on the American society’s ongoing hostility toward religion – and it’s remarkably troubling. According to FRC, American hostility toward religion increased by 76 percent just since 2014 – much thanks to left-leaning media’s poor representation of religious attitudes.

Many conservatives were in mourning Thursday after news broke of the death of Fox News mastermind Roger Ailes. In a statement, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell stated that “the Left would command a monopoly control of the so-called 'news' media but for the Fox News Channel, and FNC would not exist but for him.” But for NBC, it was a time to tear down what he did for conservative media and politics in general.

Monday night news broadcasts were dominated by a Washington Post report that claims that President Trump may have disclosed classified information to top Russian officials in the Oval Office. Many in the media were quick to pounce on the report and condemn the President. On MSNBC’s The 11Th Hour, host Brian Williams and some of his guests bemoaned how some Americans weren’t buying into their narratives about the President over the last few days, including the day’s breaking news story.

Aziz Ansari’s Netflix show Master of None returned for a second season on May 12, which means another chance to sneer at conservative culture and white people. This time, among other sins, the worst of the worst centers on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

On March 26, CNN’s ‘ridiculous figure’ Brian Stelter railed against Fox News for daring to report on the case in Rockville, Maryland where two illegal immigrants allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl. Since then, the rape charges have been dropped but child pornography charges took their place. Fox News still reported it, but apparently not well enough for Stelter. “Shouting the allegation. And when it doesn't add up, whispering the update, And all you at home remember is the shouting.” he scolded at the start of the segment on Reliable Sources Sunday.

New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters hinted on Thursday's Morning Joe that Fox News's Sean Hannity be fired next after the network showed anchor Bill O'Reilly the door, Wednesday, in response to sexual harassment allegations. He lectured, "I think you have to look at somebody like Sean Hannity and question whether or not his -- almost propaganda-like attitude and programs every night is going to be acceptable in the minds of the family, which is clearly trying to shift the network."

The star anchor at Univision and Fusion has penned yet another moral preen of a column, this time, scolding America for having elected Donald Trump to the presidency of the United States. But the only thing that Ramos managed to signal here, beyond progressive virtue, was precisely how out of touch he is with the country he purports to lecture.

CNN’s Jake Tapper was Seth Meyers’ guest on Monday night’s Late Night, where he talked about Trump’s relationship with the press. More specifically, last week’s press conference, where Trump refused to call on CNN reporter Jim Acosta, calling his outlet “fake news.” Meyers tried to get Tapper to hype up the incident as unique to Trump’s (near) presidency, but Tapper explained that Obama has done the exact same thing.

It seems that conservatives aren’t alone in the bashing of the lying, biased media. The Simpsons did a storyline on how not everything we see, read, or hear on the news can be counted as credible in the episode “Trust but Clarify.” Local news anchor Kent Brockman watches Fox News for six weeks and says “Sometimes I'd watch Bill O'Reilly and pretend it was an older, stupider version of me.”

Who would have thought it would be the 2017 Miss America Competition that would force ABC to talk about liberal media bias? Of course, it took the liberal media freaking out that Hillary wasn’t handled with kid gloves by Today show host Matt Lauer at MSNBC/NBC’s Commander in Chief Forum last week for this to become an issue raised during the pageant.

House Republicans concerned about the politicization of climate science recently subpoenaed emails from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

According to the Wall Street Journal, Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, Chairman of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, sought emails related to a May 2015 study revised temperatures and eliminated a roughly 15 year “pause” in warming. The study adjusted temperature readings from ocean buoys upward, to match shipboard measurements and conveniently remove the 15 year pause of global temperature increases.
