During an interview you would not see on such liberal cable television channels as CNN or MSNBC, radio host Mark Levin slammed Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff (Calif.) while the conservative activist was a guest on Wednesday evening’s edition of the Fox News Channel's Hannity .
It didn’t take long after the three-day federal government shutdown ended for liberals in the Democratic Party and the mainstream media to do all they can to assign blame for what is being called the “Trump Shutdown” by CNN Newsroom guest and Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.), who branded it as “insane” and was a result of the “complete ineptitude of this president and Republican leadership.”
Each night of the Republican National Convention (RNC) and presumably for this week’s Democratic National Convention (DNC), MSNBC has and will continue to offer live coverage through 2:00 a.m. Eastern time and in the final two hours, some strange and wacky moments came about for those of us watching at NewsBusters.
Over the weekend, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was exposed for favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. It was also revealed that she sent an angry email to Chuck Todd – headlined “Chuck, This Must Stop” – demanding better coverage on MSNBC’s Morning Joe after they called the DNC system “rigged” and Mika Brzezinski called for the party leader to resign on May 18.
Almost anything that airs on the Kremlin-backed Russia Today makes for interesting fodder and Wednesday night was no different as former MSNBC host Ed Schultz lashed out at the “stupid” “mainstream media” for selling out to Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s claim that Bernie Sanders supporters incited “violence” at a Nevada convention last weekend.
After the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC neglected to cover the State Department Inspector General (IG) doling out a subpoena to the Clinton Foundation on Thursday, PBS NewsHour Democratic Debate moderators Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff failed to even mention this, or Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal or Benghazi. Neither did Bernie Sanders. Needless to say, the Fox News Channel’s post-debate edition of America’s Election HQ lambasted the trio for this failure to highlight the massive scandals at any point in the two-hour debate.
In the middle of gathering Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s reaction to Thursday’s MSNBC Presidential Candidates Debate, Hardball host Chris Matthews inquired which political party has “better people” and specifically if Democrats are “better human beings than Republicans.” Matthews’s bizarre foray into judging whether half the American people are “better” than the other comes, of course, as his wife Kathleen is running as a Democrat for Congress in Maryland’s Eighth Congressional District.
The liberal and often inappropriate Triumph the Insult Comic Dog joined MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell to close out Tuesday’s Last Word and along with going after Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, and Donald Trump, Triumph took a few witty shots at former MSNBC (and soon to be Russia Today) host Ed Schultz and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
On Friday, the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC covered the new scandal brewing inside the Democratic presidential campaign with the data breach involving the Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton campaigns (plus the Sanders camp suing the Democratic National Committee), but it was the CBS Evening News that sought to downplay the story by not covering the “brewing” “family feud.”
The Media Research Center’s video department, MRCTV.org, was at the Democratic debate this past Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nev., asking politicians hard-hitting questions that the liberal media refuse to ask.
One of these questions came from reporter Brittany Hughes. Hughes clearly caught the DNC chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), off-guard when she asked the staunchly pro-abortion politician this thought-provoking question: “Were [your children] human beings before they were born?”
Fox News Channel (FNC) host Bill O’Reilly tore into Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz during the talking points memo portion of Thursday’s O’Reilly Factor over what he deemed “the biggest smear so far in the presidential campaign” against GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio and a donor with a massive historical memorabilia collection.
The Thursday panel of FNC’s Special Report with Bret Baier took on the late-term abortion debate between Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul and Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and included The Weekly Standard’s Steve Hayes declaring that it could represent a possible “hinge point in abortion politics.”
