It’s one thing to mourn death. It’s another to wish it. While some prayed for an end to celebrity deaths in 2016, actor Charlie Sheen asked God to kill president-elect Donald Trump.

Adding to the myriad of problems for Brian Williams, actor Charlie Sheen has voiced his support for the embattled NBC Nightly News anchor. In an open letter released on Wednesday, the famously erratic celebrity praised Williams [grammar as written]: "First off, THANK YOU, for 24 years of inimitable professionalism and top shelf brilliance, as a stone cold passion driven and (PERFECTLY) fact based journalist....Now and forever you are a true Patriot and a Hero of mine until the day i leave this star crossed imperfect Rock we call Earth…"

When viewers see Charlie Sheen in the upcoming film "Machete Kills," they will see the name Carlos Estevez in the credits.

As Deadline reported Friday, Sheen has decided to adopt his birth name in the Robert Rodriguez movie about a rampaging Mexican killer.

If you were the mayor of Los Angeles, would you want to be caught partying with Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen?

That’s apparently what happened Friday according to a tweet by Sheen featuring a picture of him with his arm around Antonio Villaraigosa that was captioned, “Antonio Villaraigosa knows how to party!”

Angus T. Jones told the truth. In a religious video posted on YouTube, the former child actor who’s the “half” man of the CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men” shocked the celebrity press by saying “I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.”

Calling this show “filth” is like calling your Christmas tree an evergreen. Yet about 14 million Americans still love filling their head with this filthy show, and they don’t want to be told what they’re doing.

You may recall when CBS fired Charlie Sheen early last year from the popular Two and a Half Men series for a string of "felony offenses involving moral turpitude." In the weeks and months that preceded this decision, an increasingly erratic Sheen received an inordinate amount of media attention for his drug-induced rants. To this day however, Sheen's bad boy persona is received warmly by the media, and he's been rewarded for it with ad spots for Fiat and DirecTV and even another show on the FX network that jokingly plays off his history of reckless hedonism.

By contrast, Sheen's former co-star, Angus T. Jones, the titular "half man" on the sitcom, has been castigated by the media for his recent religious conversion and subsequent YouTube testimonial in which he urged folks to avoid his popular TV series. Perhaps pressured by producers, Jones has since apologized for coming across as indifferent and unappreciative for the lucrative opportunity, but that hasn't stopped the media for characterizing Jones's video as another celebrity meltdown. President Obama’s incessant Bush-blaming may be wearing thin with the electorate, but there’s at least one group out there still happy to believe the worst about our 43rd president and his government. Not surprisingly, they’re left-wing celebrities.

Hollywood, although not shy about promoting conspiracy theories in films, has eschewed the dark fantasy that 9/11 was an inside job. Until now.

When cancer charity Susan G. Komen for the Cure prepared to withdraw less than a million dollars of funding per year from Planned Parenthood, the three broadcast networks went ballistic, devoting a host of stories to the “explosion of anger” against Komen. But when videos allegedly showing Planned Parenthood’s complicity in sex-selection abortions were released by a pro-life group, the major networks completely and predictably buried the story

Pro-life group Live Action released a video on May 29 showing a Planned Parenthood staffer helping a Live Action actor obtain a sex-selection abortion. On the morning of May 31, they released a second video with similar content. But the networks buried the story: not a single second of coverage was devoted to the Live Action videos by ABC, CBS, and NBC, on both the evening shows of May 29 and 30, and the morning shows of May 30 and 31.

Video after the jump.

What does Planned Parenthood have to do for a mention on the network news? The group provides services abhorred by much of the American population and it has been riddled with scandal recently. But according to the abortion group's latest figures, its intake of federal tax dollars up by more than a third, and that 90 percent of its government funding comes from federal money.

Sounds like a controversial story. Too bad ABC, CBS and NBC haven't been paying attention.

As many conservatives are aware, Human Events has a list of the Top Ten Most Obnoxious Hollywood Liberals.

On Tuesday's The Joy Behar Show, the host - who coincidentally is on this list herself - informed her guest Martin Sheen that he and his son Charlie are as well (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Emilio Estevez took a surprising shot at Hollywood during his interview with Laura Ingraham Friday.

"I go to so many films and I'm embarrassed by what I see" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It’s easy to get nostalgic for those classic Dean Martin TV celebrity roasts. Just watch a Comedy Central Friars Club roast. This is not comedy; they are unremittingly vicious. When they announced they were going to roast Charlie Sheen, a disgraceful human being if ever there was one, there was a sense of karmic comeuppance. Then the show aired. Only someone as deranged as Sheen would find it funny.

Sheen is deserving of plenty of verbal head-slaps for his aerobically amoral life with prostitutes, his wife-beating/strangling, and his bizarre behavior after being fired by the gutter-level CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men.” But this was supposed to be comedic. Instead, it was a merciless bonfire of ferocity. No humanity remained.
