On Tuesday night, MSNBC’s Hardball stated in the A-block that the illegal immigration detention centers (yes, the ones the far-left thinks are concentration camps) are solely a Trump administration phenomenon and prove that America is “no longer....a haven for people around the world.” NBC correspondent Cal Perry reported from one such center in Homestead, Florida and proclaimed that “these facilities are designed very purposefully” with sinister motives.
Appearing on MSNBC Live With Katy Tur Monday afternoon to discuss illegal immigration, reporter Cal Perry launched into a rant claiming that anyone criticizing migrant parents for bringing their children on the dangerous journey to the United States was spewing “xenophobic nonsense.” He even claimed that the U.S. was responsible for violence in Latin America.
On the one-year anniversary of the deadly Charlottesville protests, white supremacists and radical leftists known as Antifa descended on the Virginia town once more to commit more violence. Late Saturday night, NBC News reporter Cal Perry and his crew were in the thick of it as Antifa members ganged up on them and attacked. The next morning, NBC’s Sunday Today ignored the attack and suggested the media was simply “heckled” by their assaulters.
Yes, that headline does not contain a typo. All Saturday morning on MSNBC, the liberal cable network foolishly tried to convince viewers that the far-left, pro-abortion Women’s March would offer only “a message of unity” and not be “hateful or anti-Trump.” This is just not true. As my colleague and MRC Culture writer Katie Yoder has repeatedly chronicled, women’s groups with pro-life beliefs were not only purged, but also informed that the official event platform “is pro-choice.”
MSNBC journalists on Thursday whined about the treatment they were getting from Americans visiting Washington D.C. for Donald Trump’s inauguration. Cal Perry reported live from the inaugural concert. He complained, “...There is a pervasive, sort of, heckling that goes on towards the media that we've seen today, consistently not just from the crowds but also the volunteers.”
Kudos to NBC's David Gregory for making a relatively rare declaration of just how fanatically anti-Israel the terrorist group Hamas actually is.
