It’s really become like day and night for some people on the left to spew anti-Semitic comments, isn’t it? Well, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) did just that in a Yahoo News podcast released Friday that’s been ignored by the major broadcast network newscasts. CNN’s Early Start covered them three times on Monday by rushing to her defense, but was undone hours later on Inside Politics.
On Thursday's New Day, CNN global affairs analyst Aaron David Miller reacted negatively to President Donald Trump's plan to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, and, while reacting to reports of violent protests by Palestinian Arabs, hyperbolically likened Trump's decision to hitting Arabs on the head with a hammer.
On Wednesday afternoon, a CNN panel reacted to Secretary of State John Kerry’s speech lambasting Israel with praise for the “personal and passionate” address at the State Department aimed at a supposedly vast base of global supporters who believe in a two-state solution.
On NPR's Diane Rehm Show on Wednesday, former Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent Yochi Dreazen (now with Foreign Policy magazine) discussed the growing unrest in Israel, and explained that "the level of distrust toward this White House among Gulf State Arabs in particular is staggeringly high....That includes John Kerry personally. And it includes President Obama even more personally. They don't trust him on a personal level."
Dreazen put that on top of accusations from Israel's defense minister that "John Kerry was trying to do this for a Nobel Peace Prize and because he had messianic tendencies."
