Progressive radio host Thom Hartmann has some advice for impeachment crusader Tom Steyer — buy a radio network.
Hartmann wrote on left-wing Salon on June 26, “If liberal billionaires like Tom Steyer want to have a real and lasting impact on American politics, they should think seriously about buying a nationwide radio network.”
In case there’s any doubt left about the political leanings of billionaire media mogul Michael Bloomberg. The former Republican, turned “Independent” announced he will spend $80 million supporting Democrats in the 2018 midterm elections.
Tom Steyer, the billionaire liberal donor spending millions to try to impeach President Donald Trump, blasted his Democratic critics in a Politico podcast on May 29.
Steyer said many things in the Off Message political podcast hosted by Isaac Dovere — including comparing Democratic pushback against his impeachment efforts to opposition to the civil rights movement, said Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and others are “normalizing” Trump’s presidency and attempted to downplay his own huge political spending.
Billionaire Tom Steyer is still digging out from under his response to a question about whether President Donald Trump is like “Hitler.” Near the end of an MSNBC interview about his impeachment efforts, someone in the liberal media finally asked liberal “activist” Steyer about the Trump/Hitler comparison a woman made to Steyer last week.
When a conservative says something crazy, it makes headlines. When a liberal does you can hear the crickets.
Liberal mega-donor Tom Steyer recently entertained comparisons between President Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler at one of his impeachment rallies. But his absurd conversation was not reported by the broadcast networks or major newspapers, according to Nexis. Steyer has spent or pledged at least $236 million to help liberal candidates, or oppose Republicans since the 2014 election cycle.
Most people celebrate Mother’s Day by doing something special for their mom. But billionaire liberal donor Tom Steyer marked the holiday with political ad full of bigoted caricatures of Trump supporters and Republicans.
Perhaps understandably, the establishment press ignored a Saturday Washington rally advocating slavery reparations. But as Brent Scher and Joe Schoffstall at the Washington Free Beacon reported last week, reparations is a key agenda item of a "wealthy Democratic donor club plotting the future of the liberal movement," meaning that Democrats appear to be largely in sync with the mindset of those who attended Saturday's rally. Scher's and Schoffstall's work has also been ignored.
On Tuesday, a Morning Joe panel comprised entirely of liberals conducted a saccharine softball interview with Tom Steyer, the founder of the Need To Impeach campaign which has been running ads on MSNBC for months.
Everytown for Gun Safety’s “flat wrong” claim that there have been 18 school shootings in 2018 continues to spread on social media. On Feb. 20, liberal donor and billionaire Tom Steyer quoted it in a tweet linking to a CNN story about the Parkland, Florida victims.
Billionaire Tom Steyer just announced he will spend $30 million in 2018 to “unleash” millennial voters. It is the latest move in his push towards President Donald Trump’s impeachment.
“I’m putting $30 million behind NextGen America’s youth organizing program to unleash the full political power of young voters,” Steyer announced Jan. 8. According to Steyer, millennial voters are the key to “remaking our understanding of what it means to be an American.”
Liberal media bias has existed for years, but in 2017, it appeared to reach unprecedented levels given the media’s hostility to President Donald Trump. The media distorted many stories in 2017, in many different ways. They ranged from lies such as Al Gore’s claim that “Superstorm Sandy” proved a global warming prediction from An Inconvenient Truth was true, to using Big Bird to mislead about public broadcasting budget cuts.
Billionaire activist Tom Steyer is so left-wing, even Democrats have criticized his impeachment push. But rather than back down, Steyer pressed on, and insisted the “American people absolutely love” his impeachment campaign. “[W]hat you see is a bunch of people from inside Washington D.C. who find this threatening, but the American people absolutely love it,” Steyer said.
