During the March 31st season finale of ABC’s Last Man Standing, Outdoor Man store manager Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) was able to work in four quips with a political nature. Mike’s daughter, Mandy (Molly Ephraim) is fulfilling a business management class assignment by shadowing Mike for twenty hours in the store. She tests out her skills in handling conflict resolution using a textbook and jumping between Joe (Jay Leno) and Chuck (Jonathan Adams), who both want to pitch for the store’s softball team. Along the way, Mike shows her how he handles the bickering between Joe and Chuck which includes taking a swipe at former President Obama and also declaring he could solve the problem of ISIS.
The attempt to shame conservative star Tim Allen is a textbook example of how liberals play the Selective Outrage game. And reporters are only too eager to join the fray. The star of Last Man Standing recently cracked a joke about Hollywood’s treatment of conservatives. Sitting on the couch at Jimmy Kimmel Live, Allen explained to Kimmel the pressure his fellow Republican stars face in the Age of Trump.
After giving President Ronald Reagan a subtle nod this earlier week, ABC decided to more directly address his presidency two days later on their hit comedy Last Man Standing.
For a variety of reasons, churches are losing millennials in their pews. ABC’s Last Man Standing addresses this issue, with a great solution. On Friday’s episode, “Take Me to Church,” Mike and Vanessa Baxter discuss how they can make church more engaging as Mike finds the service boring. Vanessa brings up the fact that she misses their daughters attending.
During Friday night’s Last Man Standing on ABC, in the episode titled “Three Sisters,” Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) does an Outdoor Man commercial promoting the store’s California earthquake kits. As he does the pitch, he looks into the camera and asks the question that many rational people would love to ask the voters of California – why is Governor Jerry Brown still your governor?
In Friday’s episode of ABC’s Last Man Standing, Baxter daughter Eve (Kaitlyn Dever) introduces her new boyfriend, Rob, to her parents. During a conversation with Mike (Tim Allen) before brunch, twenty-year-old Travis admits to Mike that he is a recovering alcoholic. Yikes! The guy isn’t even old enough to legally drink.
On Friday night’s episode of ABC’s Last Man Standing, Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) has met the enemy of free speech on college campuses, thanks to liberal professors, and that enemy is known as "micro-aggressions." Micro-aggressions are the words no longer allowed on campus because they may offend someone. Today’s special snowflake college students evidently will melt into a puddle if faced with an alternate opinion than what is spoon-fed to them by professors with liberal, politically correct agendas.
According to comedian Tim Allen, Hollywood liberals need to practice what they preach. On the November 21 segment of The Kelly File, Allen joined host Megyn Kelly to discuss model Gigi Hadid’s distasteful mimicking of Melania Trump at Sunday’s American Music Awards.
Gun owners in America should be applauding Last Man Standing’s portrayal of gun owners and "gun culture" in Friday night’s episode, “Boyd will be Boyd.” The ABC sitcom hit all the right notes, putting gun safety front and center and showing how shooting sports can bring families together.
In ABC’s season opener of Last Man Standing, “Papa Bear,” spotlights the tendency of parents to worry about their children, whether the children are grown adults or not. In this case, it is Mike Baxter’s (Tim Allen) daughter Kristin (Amanda Fuller) preparing for the first brunch at the Outdoor Man Grill, her first project without supervision. He frets and keeps long hours as the preparation is underway for days, just in case he is needed.
In the episode “The Marriage Doctor” of Last Man Standing, Mike Baxter's conservative daughter Eve has to prepare for a debate in which – shudder! – she has to take the liberal position. So naturally, she turns to her liberal hippy brother-in-law for some help learning “how to talk out of your ass."
Tim Allen's character Mike Baxter on ABC's Last Man Standing is well known to be right of center. He spends most of his time taking swipes at Obama and the Clintons, but tonight he took a BIG hit at Donald Trump.
