ABC’s 20/20 special on Michelle Obama Sunday night was about what you’d expect from the same network who hailed the “transcendent, communal joy” and “dancing in the streets” after Barack Obama won the presidency in 2008. While just a few weeks ago, ABC’s 20/20 on Melania Trump spent nearly every minute on controversies and strife in the White House and their marriage, this episode on the Obamas was a complete 180 in tone and content, with not even a brief mention of Obama's own controversies.

With less than a week until the midterm election, NBC’s Will & Grace saw fit to poke fun at First Lady Melania Trump, insinuating she’s being held prisoner in the basement of the White House and trying to “tunnel her way out with the heel of her Jimmy Choo.” They also had gay character Jack (Sean Hayes) get a dig in at marriage, stating that it’s “just some weird thing straight guys came up with as a way to own a woman,” adding, “we got gay marriage, but let’s make marriage gay!”

Somebody, please! Free Ari Melber from the isolation chamber in which he has been cruelly confined! On his MSNBC show The Beat, Ari Melber praised guest and View co-host Joy Behar on Tuesday, telling her that whereas she cares, "you don't demean."

The reboot of Murphy Brown is getting old quick. It has become a boring, paint by numbers exercise in liberal vanity, with shots (both direct and veiled) at President Trump, Melania, the Trump Hotel, and, of course, Fox News. In the CBS show’s episode titled “The Girl Who Cried Wolf” airing October 25, Murphy Brown went to a frequent gag. Murphy (Candice Bergen) is forever in need of a new assistant and the show’s social media/tech guru comes up with a solution – an artificial intelligence one.

In a disturbing example of just how far down the gutter they had sunk, Tuesday’s NBC Nightly News featured back-to-back reports hyping opponents of President Trump deriding him and First Lady Melania Trump in a sexual manner. In sharp contrast, their broadcast network competitors CBS Evening News and ABC’s World News Tonight were classy enough to leave the low brow attacks out of their programs.

ABC’s primetime special of First Lady Melania Trump Friday evening was more about President Trump and everything the media saw wrong with him than the actual First Lady. Badgering her to condemn Trump on his immigration policies, border policy, Twitter “bullying” and more, ABC’s Tom Llamas also spent a great deal of the show speculating about Trump’s marriage, asking invasive and downright rude questions like, “Do you love your husband?”

ABC anchor Tom Llamas appeared on Friday’s The View to talk about his interview with Melania Trump airing tonight where no question was left off the table. The View hosts’ questions to Llamas were dripping with condescension for the First Lady, with one host taking it so far, that even the ABC reporter had to call her out for being disrespectful.

On Good Morning America Wednesday, ABC previewed an upcoming one-on-one interview with First Lady Melania Trump that will air next week. Anchor Tom Llamas didn’t hold back from confronting Mrs. Trump on controversial topics, even at one point, scolding the First Lady for not being sensitive enough to the #MeToo movement.

CNN international correspondent Farai Sevenzo says of First Lady Melania's Trump visit to a Kenyan game reserve: "she was dressed, really, in the classic Out of Africa by Sydney Pollack way, or even John Huston's, The African Queen: the jodhpurs, the boots. The color was all there. The stylist should be very proud of himself."

Megyn Kelly marked her first year as host of her eponymous weekday NBC program by pointing to her only regret: “I certainly wish I hadn’t put on Jane Fonda! That didn’t go well!” The anchor of NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today morning series was referring to an interview she did with the liberal activist that took place during September of 2017, when she asked “Hanoi Jane” about her history of having cosmetic surgery.

Friday afternoon grandstanding reporter Jim Acosta filled in as host of Wolf Blitzer’s eponymously named CNN show. And -mid-program, Acosta desperately tried to get one of his guests to bash President Trump as a hypocrite for his stance on chain migration, and the Justice Department for accidentally deporting two asylum seekers. Instead, his conservative guest schooled the partisan reporter about hyping a “non-story.”

First Lady Melania Trump’s parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs took the oath to become U.S. citizens on Thursday but NBC Nightly News was not having it. The broadcast network speculated that they received special treatment in the process and possibly used chain migration, a program the President opposes, even though the process still exists and still legal.
