On Joy Reid's MSNBC show today, MSNBC contributor Malcolm Nance went on a rant about Trump's pardoning of Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher and other members of the military. Among other things, speaking of the Telly Savalas character in The Dirty Dozen—a murderer and rapist—Nance said: "It's almost as if Donald Trump thought, 'hey, that's my favorite character!' He has a mindset of where he thinks his personal toughness is men doing horrible things."
As part of their never-ending quest to take down President Trump, the “experts” at MSNBC came up with a unique charge on Tuesday’s edition of the Morning Joe program, when a guest claimed that the GOP occupant of the White House was “compromised” by Russia as far back as 1977. Instead of questioning the unlikely accusation, co-host Willie Geist agreed with the charge that Trump had gone from being a “useful idiot” to an “unwitting asset” for Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was actually described by the pundit as a “super-villain.”
MSNBC is dangerously close to treading into the waters of becoming a full-blown conspiracy network, although many will argue they have already drowned. On Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Hill's Joe Concha seemed to think there was little hope of resuscitation for the network after he says they hit rock bottom this past week.
On AM Joy, Malcolm Nance tells Joy Reid that "this could be the last free and fair election in American history" because of manipulation of the results by a foreign "cabal."
Someone call Mulder and Scully because MSNBC contributor and raging lunatic Malcolm Nance wants to learn your ways so he can find the Trump-Russia collusion that he believes is still out there. On Wednesday’s Hardball, Nance did that in showing frustration with Special Counsel Robert Mueller for not declaring there to have been a criminal conspiracy, going as far as to screech that “this story is not over.”
Thursday’s Hardball came out guns blazing with not only a crazy panel that included collusion delusion sufferers David Corn of Mother Jones, host Chris Matthews, and fanatical MSNBC contributor Malcolm Nance. Oh, no, but it also included kooky lines insisting on Trump-Russian collusion, decrying Trump supporters pushing back on a Senate subpoena for Donald Trump Jr. as “gangster talk” by “thugs,” and suggesting Americans must still be spoon fed about “the Russian attack.”
On Saturday's AM Joy on MSNBC, during discussions of President Donald Trump and the Russia investigation, not only did MSNBC justice analyst Matthew Miller dismiss Republicans as being in a "right-wing coccoon" that is rewarded by Fox News for "bad behavior," but terrorism analyst Malcolm Nance likened Trump to the "evil" Darth Vader licking the boots of Vladimir Putin as the Emperor.
MSNBC’s Hardball took quite a bizarre turn on Tuesday when far-left MSNBC contributor Zerlina Maxwell attempted to sing the praises of colleague Malcolm Nance when fellow panelist Andrew Sullivan blurted out “Jesus Lord” in disgust that Maxwell (or presumably anyone) would cite such a “complete fantasist” who “spreads so many conspiracy theories and nonsense.”
As NewsBusters illustrated all day on Sunday, MSNBC’s nonsense was shooting out into the ether like water from a fire hose During the 6:00 p.m. Eastern hour, so-called experts offered hot takes such as “the Russians have clearly won” and “Mueller basically seem to abdicate or punt on” the obstruction portion of the investigation.
At different points during their Saturday programming, MSNBC host Joy Reid and her panelists got out their tin-foil hats as they spun wild conspiracy theories of about the Special Counsel’s report and the Trump family. Between claims of racism by the investigators and claims of a collusion “cover-up”, the crazy train was doing full speed out of the station.
On Sunday, President Trump tweeted a quote from Rush Limbaugh, which inferred that those behind the Mueller probe ought to be in jail and dubbed it “one of the greatest political hoaxes ever perpetrated on the people of this Country.” Not surprisingly, the topic came up on Monday’s MSNBC Live With Velshi and Ruhle where terrorism analyst Malcolm Nance cited the tweet as evidence that Limbaugh and other conservative media figures are “giving Donald Trump his ideas that he should become a fascist dictator.”
During Saturday’s edition of AM Joy, host Joy Reid engaged in a discussion with Will Fischer of votevets.org, Jennifer Rubin of The Washington Post, and MSNBC Contributor Malcolm Nance about what they saw as the President’s lukewarm attitude toward the military and his tendency to use them as political props. Throughout the roughly ten-minute long segment, Reid and her guests did not hesitate to trash President Trump; whom they described as a “huckster-in-chief,” “racist-in-chief, “placeholder-in-chief,” “physical coward,” and an “emotional, mental coward.”
