Saturday night was the White House Correspondents Dinner a star studded event attended by the media elites. Come Sunday morning most of the media was praising President Obama’s performance during the dinner, while expressing how disappointing comedian Larry Wilmore’s act was. Fox News’ Juan Williams really took it to Wilmore on Fox News Sunday saying, “to black America it awful. It was degrading...”

CNN's Brian Lowry reported Comedy Central "fake news" anchor Larry Wilmore drew "groans and grimaces" on Saturday night with a typical White House Correspondents Dinner routine that leaned heavily to the left. He suggested Fox News was racist: “Welcome to Negro Night here in Washington. Or as Fox News will report, ‘Two thugs disrupt elegant dinner in DC.'” Wilmore ended his set by thanking Obama for having been the country’s first black President: “I’m going to keep it 100: Yo, Barry. You did it, my n*gga!”

In a profile of White House Correspondents Dinner host Larry Wilmore, CNN’s At This Hour co-host John Berman openly admitted (unlike CBS This Morning) on Thursday to Wilmore’s agreement that The Nightly Show is “admittedly liberal” and “trends left” toward “more pro-Democratic policies and politicians.”

When Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore plugged his White House Correspondents Association dinner hosting gig on CBS This Morning, the hosts absurdly praised him for being a “passionate centrist.” But if a review of his hosting duties at The Nightly Show is an indicator of who he will skewer the most at Saturday’s event, expect a lot of crass shots taken at the Republicans who are running for president.

Monday was an important date for the people of Flint Michigan. April 25 is the date two years ago when the city’s water source was switched to the Flint River and Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore commemorated the event by using his Nightly Show to imagine the best way to kill the state’s Republican governor: “What do you think should happen to Governor Snyder?” Before the guest could answer, Wilmore cut her off: “Let me put it a different way, which type of execution?”

Making his latest appearance on CBS This Morning with co-host, devout fan, and Obama friend Gayle King, Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore was serenaded on Monday by King and her fellow co-hosts as a “passionate centrist” who loves President Obama but supposedly mocks politicians on both sides.

How crazy left does a president have to be, if Barack Obama isn’t considered “progressive?” According to Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore the United States hasn’t had a progressive president since Lyndon Johnson. That wasn’t good enough for his guest, actress Susan Sarandon, who insisted you had to reach all the way back to Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Lowbrow humorist Larry Wilmore made a truly tasteless joke at Ted Cruz’s expense on his Thursday show. Citing a Mother Jones article that reported “In 2004 Ted Cruz fought to preserve a law that banned the sale of dildos in Texas” the host of Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show went on to shamelessly ridicule the GOP presidential candidate: “It’s just such a shame to see dildos persecuted and marginalized by one of their own....I guess back in 2004, Cruz was just another self-hating dildo.”

When it comes to softball questions Bernie Sanders has had his fill from cable and network hosts alike but they’d all be hard-pressed to top Comedy Central’s Larry Wilmore’s slow-pitch to the socialist senator when he asked: “Are you Jesus?”

On Monday’s edition of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, the Comedy Central host couldn’t get through a rant against Bill and Hillary Clinton without taking a cheap shot at GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz. Wilmore noted the former First Lady once used the politically incorrect term “super-predators.” Wilmore reported that even the criminologist who coined the term had disavowed it: “He’s ashamed of his creation, like Dr. Frankenstein or Ted Cruz’s parents.”

Drive around outside at about daybreak and it is not an unusual sight to see men leaning against the outside walls of convenience stores chugging from cans wrapped in brown bags. Most often the brew of choice among such men is Colt 45 malt liquor. However, don't be too surprised if among such early morning Colt 45 fans, you spot Jake Tapper, host of CNN's The Lead, taking a chug from this brew and, perhaps, handing it off to his colleague, Wolf Blitzer. Such a speculation is not totally off the convenience store wall since Tapper seems to have embraced the image of an enthusiastic Colt 45 drinker as can be seen in his tweet below.

On Tuesday night’s roundtable on the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, the late-night liberal host had Bill Nye “the Science Guy on as his guest to talk about the 2016 Presidential election and how the Republican candidates haven’t made climate change an important election issue. Nye claimed that the GOP candidates were climate change “deniers” because they were funded by “the fossil fuel industry.”
