The liberal media are suffering once again from a severe case of cognitive dissonance. The cries and demands for the declassification of documents relating to the Mueller investigation were ubiquitous across CNN and MSNBC for weeks on end. “We need transparency” was the rallying cry across all the broadcast networks. The hypocrisy of liberal talking heads, otherwise known as “fair and balanced journalists,” was placed on full display once President Trump ordered Attorney General Barr to declassify all information and documents regarding the Muller investigation within legal limitations.

As an observer of the liberal media’s narratives and habits, Fox News host Tucker Carlson noticed that they had suddenly formed a chorus to preach about President Trump’s supposed “cover-up” of the Mueller investigation. He found that their new slogan popped up after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi uttered it earlier Wednesday morning. The Hill's media reporter Joe Concha confirmed the theory to Carlson and even pointed to other instances where the media ran with a Pelosi talking points.

As NewsBusters has previously reported, the networks ignored the outrageous story about Pennsylvania State Rep. Brian Sims harassing an elderly pro-life protester outside of a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood clinic and threatening to dox her. Cable news was not much better. Only Fox News bothered to give the story airtime.

In an appearance on Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight Thursday, Federalist senior editor Mollie Hemingway assessed that the reason Sandmann enjoyed such broad support was that “people sense the injustice” done to him by a vicious liberal media.

In an energized appearance on the Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson Tonight Monday to talk about the pompous White House Correspondents Dinner, talk radio host Chris Plante blasted the liberal media for their First Amendment hypocrisy between Presidents Obama and Trump. On top of that, he described how he left his job at CNN because they were “tube feeding” lies and deceit to America.

With almost 20 people currently running for the Democratic Party’s nomination in the 2020 presidential election, liberal media types have decided to educate us about these candidates, who range from New Jersey Senator Cory Booker to former tech executive Andrew Yang. The popularity of these individuals rises and falls, according to the host of the eponymous Tucker Carlson Tonight weeknight program on Fox News, who noted that many of the people who previously supported former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke now seem to favor South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Reacting to the Bernie Sanders town hall on Fox News, Morning Joe praises FNC for opening the door to different points of view. DNC chairman Tom Perez is criticized for prohibiting FNC from conducting a Dem presidential debate. And panel members praise as fair FNC personalities Bret Baier, Martha McCallum, Chris Wallace, Bill Hemmer, and Shep Smith.

For those who either didn’t watch Tuesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight or want to relive it, The Federalist’s Sean Davis made a rare TV appearance and absolutely lambasted the liberal media for their years-long narrative that the President and his team colluded with Russians, calling this falsehood “probably the biggest, most consequential screw up of the last 25 to 50 years.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson devoted a large portion of his opening monologue Monday night to the fallout from the release of the Mueller report, specifically focusing on CNN’s coverage of the Trump-Russia probe. Carlson accused CNN head Jeff Zucker of intentionally misleading his audience before going through some examples of CNN’s “long history of not getting the facts first” in a dig at the network’s motto.

Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson once again found himself in the sights of the left’s “outrage machine,” as he called it, for “naughty” comments he made over 10 years ago while speaking with shock jock, Bubba the Love Sponge. In response, he kicked off Monday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight with an over six-minute-long monologue unloading on the left and the liberal media for trying to destroy lives and careers in their political “war”.

During a scathing takedown of CNN for justifying the Democratic National Committee’s ban on allowing Fox News to host a Democratic debate, Fox News host Tucker Carlson reminded viewers Thursday night of why his colleagues were the bigger people. And The Hill’s media reporter, Joe Concha recalled why CNN wasn’t the most trustworthy when it came to holding debates.

This week, an illegal immigrant was taken into custody and detained by ICE after attacking a person in a Make America Great Again hat inside a Massachusetts bar on February 15. So on Tuesday, Tucker Carlson brought it up on his show with Massachusetts radio host Howie Carr, who asserted that, needless to say, the media coverage has been inadequate because it “doesn’t fit the narrative.”
