Tucker Carlson Tonight
If you want to feel hopeless about the coronavirus pandemic and be convinced President Trump has allowed the virus to wreak havoc, CNN is the place for you. But Thursday night on the Fox News Channel, Tucker Carlson provided a reality check in showing how New York City’s far-left local officials initially dismissed the virus. And thanks to CNN, they’ve been able to absolve themselves of responsibility for the chaos inside their hospitals.
While ABC and CBS were largely putting aside the many controversies of former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to tout his rapid rise in the polls Tuesday, Leta Hong Fincher, the wife of a former award-winning Bloomberg News reporter was busy reminding the public of how Bloomberg censors his reporters who cover China and threatens those that don’t submit.
On Wednesday's Tucker Carlson Tonight, the Fox News primetime host mocked Rep. Adam Schiff and the pundits who love him truly, madly, deeply. First, he said Schiff "spent the entire day delivering a lecture about the perils of cheating, like America was suddenly the world's largest middle school." Then he joked that the cable-news pundits showed "surging waves of ecstasy" in their reviews of Schiff's remarks.
Last Tuesday (January 7), it was announced that Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann would settle his lawsuit with the Jeffrey Zucker-led CNN for an undisclosed amount after they tried to ruin his life last year. Luckily for CNN, they’ve all but ignored this on-air (save 29 seconds from Brian Stelter on Reliable Sources) and had help with blackouts from ABC, CBS, MSNBC, and NBC. In contrast, the Fox News Channel spent 12 minutes and 56 seconds on the settlement.
Liberal Democrats are apparently not in the holiday spirit, a fact that was demonstrated on Tuesday morning’s edition of the America’s Newsroom program on the Fox News Channel, where host Bill Hemmer did his best to corral a guest who attempted to take corral a guest who insisted Tucker Carlson should be fired. The guest was Michael Blake, vice chair of the Democratic National Committee and an African-American liberal who was supposed to analyze the field of candidates trying to get his party’s nomination for president. Instead, he questioned why the host of the weeknight Tucker Carlson Tonight program still has a job because the host once called white supremacy a “hoax.”
A refreshing dose of honesty coming from the mouth of a mainstream news anchor is an anomalous occurance to put it lightly. ABC’s Amy Robach provided just that when she was caught on camera discussing the network’s role in suppressing a story about Jeffrey Epstein Story. Townhall Editor Katie Pavlich appeared on Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss the case in more detail and the shameful cover-up.
In a Monday appearance on the Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, former Army captain and the author of Stand Down, James Hasson ripped the liberal media for their bizarre anti-Trump spin after ISIS founder and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was eliminated in a raid on his compound in northern Syria. He chalked it up to them being unable to get past their mentality that “what is good for Donald Trump is bad, and what is bad for Donald Trump is good.”
Given the blatant liberal bias in “journalism” today, there is little room to wonder why public confidence in the media has declined sharply in recent years. Former newspaper publisher, Walter Hussman, made an appearance on Thursday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight in an attempt to uncover what went awry in modern press.
Before focusing on liberal media bias and their disdain for those in flyover country and not within their bubbles, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson and former FNC host Megyn Kelly dove Wednesday night into the ongoing train wreck that is Kelly’s other former employer (NBC News) with their alleged coverups of sexual misconduct.
In an interview spanning the last 30 minutes of Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, Megyn Kelly returned to television for the first time since NBC News cut ties with her and, appearing on her old home Fox News, Kelly lambasted the liberal media in the second half of the interview for their rampant, anti-Trump bias with a “hyperfocus on impeachment.” Carlson pivoted to “the state of journalism today” from NBC’s horrid state of affairs over their attempted squashing of Ronan Farrow’s 2017 bombshell on Harvey Weinstein and the Matt Lauer sexual misconduct scandal.
On Wednesday night, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson exposed media hypocrisy when it comes to whistleblowers that advance their causes while ignoring or undermining those that do not accomplish it. After noting that “CNN, Democrats, and the rest of Washington” agree that “the Ukraine whistleblower is a hero...doing a vital service this country,” Carlson pointed out that “we have whistleblowers here (in Washington) and they’re almost always ignored and mistreated by the people in power. All the cool kids look down on real whistleblowers.
After noting that the media have been pushing for President Trump’s impeachment “for about three years now for just about any reason at all,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson brought in radio host Chris Plante to weigh in on the media hysteria surrounding the latest push for impeachment. In addition to describing the media’s role as “faithfully and dutifully carrying out the mission of the Democratic Party,” Plante slammed the media for failing to express any interest whatsoever in potential wrongdoing on behalf of former Vice President Joe Biden.
