The Situation Room
During Tuesday’s edition of CNN's The Situation Room, CNN Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin warned of creeping fascism, saying “this is what happens in authoritarian countries...The President, the leader orders the investigation and prosecution of his political enemies,” without even bothering to mention that strong evidence exists that crimes have been committed. Comey laid out a very strong case for prosecuting Clinton before ultimately deciding to skip it.
On Saturday afternoon, CNN Newsroom gave attention to a Johns Hopkins Hospital trauma surgeon who has been criticizing the NRA, but the liberal news network, even while interviewing him, did not divulge that he is a board member of the anti-gun Brady Campaign.
Liberal journalists routinely make the mistake of pretending only black people are insulted by Trump, when the rainbow of Trump's insults is very diverse. We showed that when he called Omarosa a "dog." She was one of many. On Friday's edition of The Situation Room, CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin took off in his critique of Trump's "constant attacks on black people" after the president insulted a series of black female reporters this week. Except....CNN's Dana Bash recalled it happening to her.
Showing that he’s anything but a fair news anchor, CNN’s The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer was yet another journalist who tried to make the Thousand Oaks, California bar shooting about gun control despite the state having perhaps the country’s strictest gun laws and state mental health experts had cleared the disturbed individual (thus still allowing him to purchase firearms).
Weekday morning CNN Newsroom co-host, chief national security correspondent, and former Obama administration official Jim Sciutto offered a repulsive piece of analysis Friday night on the suspect arrested in this week’s mail bombs, comparing the President to Islamic terrorists like ISIS peddling online propaganda to help lone wolves become “self-radicalized” and carry out attacks. Of course, Sciutto received zero pushback on his asinine and ugly comparison.
On Tuesday's The Situation Room, liberal CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin and correspondent Kaitlan Collins got into a surprising debate over whether it was appropriate for President Donald Trump to call himself a "nationalist" as Collins claimed that the word "nationalism" had become "like Hitler" while Toobin seemed out of character as he defended the President.
In a big legal victory for President Trump, a federal judge late Monday tossed out a defamation lawsuit filed against him by porn star Stormy Daniels and her lawyer/possible 2020 presidential candidate Michael Avenatti, demanding they pay Trump’s attorneys fees. When it came to Tuesday mornings’s broadcast network newscasts, the news all but fell on deaf ears with only 63 seconds of coverage and none mentioning the judge’s request that Daniels pay for Trump’s attorney fees.
Between Thursday night and Friday evening, a number of shows on both CNN and MSNBC have pushed claims by Democrats that Georgia Republicans are engaging in "voter suppression" targeted at black voters because of reports that more than 50,000 new voter registrations of mostly black voters are being held in limbo because of errors in the paperwork. But only CNN's Jake Tapper has bothered to note that Secretary of State and gubernatorial nominee Brian Kemp gave an explanation for why a disproportionately large number of black voters were affected.
Following an embarrassing segment Tuesday on his show CNN Tonight that deemed Kanye West to be a mentally ill “attention whore” representing “what happens when negroes don’t read,” Don Lemon appeared on Thursday’s The Situation Room and again showed an insensitivity to mental illness, diagnosing West a disturbed captive putting on “a minstrel show him in front of all these white people” at the White House.
As soon as Thursday’s Kavanaugh show trial in the Senate Judiciary Committee was wrapped up, the liberal media was off to the races with their breathless pontifications of how it went. From CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin came a stream of bitter attacks against the Supreme Court nominee and the Republican Senators.
During each short break in the Kavanaugh show trial in the Senate Judiciary Committee, the liberal media let loose a flood of condemnation for the conservative nominee. In the middle of a break during the 5:00 p.m. Eastern hour, a gaggle of CNN liberals ripped into Kavanaugh for becoming Trumpian in his forceful defense of himself, his reputation, and family.
In the 40 minutes since President Trump’s early Wednesday evening press conference, CNN’s The Situation Room did nothing to combat the notion that the liberal media is the opposition party. All told, the assembled analysts and journalists accused Brett Kavanaugh supporters of being racist and sexist conspiracy theorists who are being spoon-fed their talking points from Fox News.
