Rolling Stone’s Tessa Stuart interviewed New York Times campaign reporter Amy Chozick about her new book on covering the Hillary Clinton campaign, and revealed Chozick to be amazingly forgiving of Clinton and quite uncaring about female victims of male predation – at least those whose stories could conceivably hurt Hillary’s chances. And she again apologized about her paper actually covering campaign news -- the leaked emails from the Clinton team.
It is remarkable to see the headlines about presidential aides Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in the liberal media. The son-in-law and daughter of President Trump are now getting routinely hammered in The Washington Post, The New York Times, on CNN and even in The Wall Street Journal editorial pages, the latter decidedly not in the “liberal media” category. But what is particularly noticeable is the reluctance to apply the same standards to presidential or other political relatives - if they are liberals.
Like their counterparts at CNN and MSNBC, many news outlets were quick to promote anti-Trump protests in New York City on November 12, 2016 – and in doing so became unwitting promoters of Russian propaganda. An indictment handed down on February 16 by Special Counsel Robert Mueller revealed that this protest, as well as one in Charlotte, NC on November 19, 2016, was organized by Russian operatives.
Twitter's #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag, referring to the four-page memo which allegedly contains evidence of extensive "abuse in ... surveillance practices" at the FBI and Department of Justice, has gotten on Beltway Democrats' nerves. An attempt to pass off Americans' interest in having it released as a campaign led by Russian bots appears to have blown up in their faces, because two of their leaders believed a bogus report from the far-left media fever swamp.
If you have been on Twitter recently then you know the red hot hashtag that is #ReleaseTheMemo. So why the popularity? Well, according to Rolling Stone, it is due in large part to the Russians. Yes, the Russians Are Coming to Twitter in the form of their bots to hype that hashtag. The subtitle of Rolling Stone's silly article by Bob Moser explains it: "Republicans claim a secret document reveals a Hillary Clinton plot "worse than Watergate" – and they're getting a big boost from Russian bots."
As much of the U.S. shivers under extreme cold, the liberal media lashed out at President Donald Trump over a tweet about global warming, portraying him as stupid or confused about the difference between weather and climate. Trump had tweeted, “In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”
Hollywood and the media are willing to swallow any and all negativity geared towards President Trump and his administration. U2’s lead singer Bono decided to gripe about Trump in his latest interview with Rolling Stone. His complaint? The president and the vice-president did nothing to stop cuts to PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief).
The names being added to the list of accused sex harassers in the media and politics is increasing so fast and furious that it seems you only have to wait a minute until a new name is added. Since we already have Chris Matthews newly added to the list, we need only to wait a minute and..... FLASH! Just in. The latest name added to the sex harassers list is... MattTaibbi of the Rolling Stone.
In a friendly softball interview with Rolling Stone founder Jann Wenner for Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer celebrated the liberal magazine’s 50th anniversary: “For five decades, Rolling Stone magazine has been the home of the cool, the groundbreaking and the controversial....its influence has stretched into pop culture, entertainment, and politics, ultimately becoming the cultural bible for baby boomers.”
It's gonna happen! Paul Manafort has been indicted and...and that means that Donald Trump will soon be leaving office. That pretty much sums up the attitude of Rolling Stone writer Bob Dreyfuss who, upon hearing the news about Paul Manafort's indictment, just couldn't contain himself over the fantasy that this will lead to a quick exit, via resignation or impeachment, of President Donald Trump from office. Here is Dreyfuss in today's Rolling Stone sounding positively orgasmic over the fantasy that Manafort's indictment will inevitably lead to Trump's quick exit in Mueller Starts Coming for Team Trump:
Rolling Stone magazine contributing editor Jeff Goodell seems to have trouble with logic in addition to his disdain for coal power. In, “Scott Pruitt Can’t Stop the Death of Big Coal,” Goodell claimed that without the EPA’s Clean Power Plan — an Obama “accomplishment” — coal is still “a dead industry walking.”
Liberals who can’t win at the ballot box, turn to lawyers to push their agenda. And guns are no exception. The alt-left has always been the Sue Tribe, they’ve just gotten worse over time.
In the aftermath of the horrendous shooting in Las Vegas, the left has turned to an old standby, gun control. Only gone is their facade about guns. Now they want to take them, ban them or sue to shut down the companies that make them.
