Erin Burnett OutFront
On Wednesday night, CNN and MSNBC still had plenty of energy left to not only blast the President’s State of the Union address from the night before, but also go gaga for every movement and every word espoused by liberals. In the latter case, CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront and MSNBC’s Hardball cheered House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “Machiavellian genius” controlling the House and offering a snarky clap for the President that was “the clap...seen around the world.”
On Friday's Erin Burnett Outfront on CNN, during a discussion of revelations that Virginia Democratic Governor Ralph Northam included a racist photograph in his portion of his medical school's yearbook, frequent Republican guest Stephen Moore was lambasted and cut off by other panel members when he brought up the other controversy involving Northam from this week -- that he defended an extreme abortion legalization bill by speaking approvingly of allowing some babies to die immediately after birth if the mother chose to do so.
During Wednesday’s edition of Erin Burnett OutFront, the eponymous host and her panel reacted to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders’s declaration that God “wanted Donald Trump to become President” during an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network. Burnett seemed to think that God playing a role in the electoral politics of the United States posed a direct threat to democracy.
On Tuesday, talk-radio star Rush Limbaugh dove into the media freakout over President Trump's fast-food banquet for the national college football champions, the Clemson Tigers. He singled out CNN's Erin Burnett for crying sexism. "The president said something so offensive that upon hearing it a cable news infobabe nearly lost her cookies. Do you remember the sound bite? It was only a few seconds. Do you know what he might have said that just sent somebody into orbit?...Right! That the first lady would be making salads!"
Appearing on CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront “for her first national primetime interview,” Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI) faced questions Tuesday from the eponymous host about her now-infamous “mother****er” comment about impeaching President Trump, except many of them were sympathetic to Tlaib’s case.
Whenever there’s an impasse in Washington, the liberal media always demand that Republicans “compromise” and work with Democrats. Of course, their definition of compromise is code for “just capitulate.” Now, in an effort to end the government shutdown and from talking with Border Patrol, President Trump has shifted positions on what the wall would look like and what it would be made out of. But CNN was not having Trump’s compromise and mocked him for it during Monday’s OutFront.
In a demonstration of just how seriously they take their assertion that they’re not “fake news”, CNN network ended Thursday night’s Erin Burnett OutFront with a report about how Donald Trump’s use of the term “witch hunt” to slam the Special Counsel’s investigation offended real witches around the globe. The segment was complete with fill-in host Kate Bolduan declaring at the top of the segment, “Witches of the world have a problem with President Trump!”
In a report that was somehow supposed to be comedy, CNN reporter Jeanne Moos ended Monday’s Erin Burnett OutFront by comparing President Trump to infamous mob bosses, both real and fictional. “When President Trump referred to his former attorney as a ‘rat’ for talking to the government, critics came scurrying,” she quipped, later mocking how the President “knows all the best words, mob words.”
During Tuesday’s Erin Burnett OutFront, the eponymous host engaged in a discussion about the feisty Oval Office meeting between President Trump, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi; specifically focusing on Pelosi describing the border wall as a “manhood issue” for President Trump. Guest April Ryan basically called President Trump a sexist for his treatment of Pelosi in the Oval Office, in addition to effectively smearing him and all other supporters of a border wall as racists.
After CNN hosts Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon professed their love for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Tuesday night, their colleague Erin Burnett ended Wednesday’s OutFront with another fawning tribute to Pelosi’s “star power”. This one was filed by comedic (?) reporter Jeanne Moos. The smarmy report boasted about Pelosi’s new-found fame on social media and actually tried to make Cuomo and Lemon’s ridiculous “Nanchuck” nickname something that stuck.
During the Friday edition of CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, the eponymous host and her panel reacted to the latest developments in the Trump-Russia investigation, with a litany of memos on both Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort being released by the U.S. District of Southern New York and the Mueller team. As a whole, the panel seemed convinced that the memos may represent the smoking gun needed to take down President Trump. Not surprisingly, Nixon administration White House counsel and beloved CNN talking head John Dean found himself firmly in the pro-impeachment camp.
If there’s one topic the liberal media love to talk about, besides themselves, it’s President Trump. In the midst of the nation mourning the death of former President George H.W. Bush, and their own programming about Monday’s memorial service, CNN brought on Ronald Reagan’s daughter, Patti Davis to blast Trump for damaging the presidency and bringing it down to the level of 9-year-olds.
