It didn’t take long for condolences to come pouring in from people across the political spectrum and throughout the media. Even with such short notice, both CBS and NBC ran news briefs on their evening programs reporting his passing. But ABC was the lone broadcast network to skip Krauthammer’s passing. And The Washington Post, where he wrote for decades, published an obituary that partially blamed him for the Iraq War.
With the stroke of a pen, President Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday that would officially end the policy of separating parents and children who come across the southern border illegally. It’s what many on the right and left wanted to see happen, but for the liberal media it wasn’t enough, as CBS anchor Jeff Glor demonstrated by opining about how Trump was trying to “put out a big political fire with a few drops of ink.”
Chief Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes presented what was pitched as a CBS News investigation into state-level attorneys general who were getting a little too cozy with corporate lobbyists. But in reality, it targeted primarily Republican AGs while giving Democratic ones what amounted to a free pass. A double standard if ever there was one.
It has been a full week since the liberal broadcasts networks of ABC, CBS, and, NBC began their full-court press against President Trump’s zero-tolerance immigration policy being implemented on the U.S.-Mexico border. On Tuesday, the trio added an additional 82 minutes between their morning and evening broadcasts.
The liberal media’s shrill condemnation of President Trump’s zero-tolerance border enforcement policy reached a fever pitch on Monday as the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) dedicated massive amounts of time to hyperbolic assertions about the issue. The coverage from NBC Nightly News was arguably out of control seeing as anchor Lester Host asked a Border Patrol agent if he understood he was "the bad guy."
President Obama constantly told falsehoods to the American people about how his policies worked, how they would be implemented, and what the benefits were. His most famous one, “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it” got him the Lie of the Year. But when President Trump does his own spinning, it all of a sudden becomes a moral conundrum for the liberal media. The stacked anti-Trump panel on NBC’s Meet the Press proved this point on Sunday when they debated when to call him a liar.
It appears as though, with the long-awaited release of the Department of Justice Inspector General’s report exposing anti-Trump bias by senior FBI investigators, Republican Congressional leadership was finally ready to call for an end to the Special Counsel’s investigation. After House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY) spoke out, ABC’s Good Morning America was fearful for the future of the investigation on Sunday morning.
The Department of Justice's Inspector General dropped a bombshell report on Washington, D.C. on Thursday which detailed their deep dive into the FBI’s handling of the Clinton e-mail probe. It found that former FBI Director James Comey was insubordinate, validating President Trump’s decision to fire him, but it also found that a small group of FBI agents had it out to get candidate Trump. Despite those facts, both ABC and CBS tried to downplay the role those agents played in the Russia investigation.
On Wednesday, CBS News was the only broadcast network of the big three (ABC, CBS, and NBC) to inform their viewers of an ambush on the U.S.-Mexico border that left a Border Patrol agent in critical condition. By their evening broadcast, CBS reported that the agent was upgraded to stable condition but their broadcast competitors ignored the shooting altogether. They instead chose to hype the social media phenomenon of a raccoon that scaled a building in Minnesota.
While broadcast networks ABC and CBS were skeptical about how the U.S.-North Korea agreement would turn out (a legitimate concern considering North Korea’s history of reneging on such deals), NBC Nightly News took a noticeably harsher tone and railed against President Trump. This decrying of Trump’s agreement comes after NBC has gone to bat time and time again for the radical Islamic regime of Iran and against our President.
Just a few hours before President Trump was scheduled to sit down with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un for a historic summit for peace and denuclearization on Monday, CBS correspondent Bianna Golodryga chided the President’s ability to negotiate in the United States’ best interest.
A Net Neutrality-free Internet – is the Internet status quo. It’s “The Internet as we know it.”
Everything you knew about the Internet the first two-plus decades – is what you know about the Internet now.
Everything else being flung at you by the Media-Left – is just ideological monkey poo.
