Appearing on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports Thursday afternoon as Nancy Pelosi was reelected Speaker of the House, lefty historian Doris Kearns Goodwin hailed the Democratic leader as “the right person at the right time in the right place.” She went on to describe how “thrilling” it was to see Democrats regain control of the congressional chamber and bring “joy” back to Washington.

On her 12:00 p.m. ET hour show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell attempted to falsely place partial blame on the Trump administration for migrants at the U.S. border being marked with numbers on their arms. In reality, the practice has been traced back to volunteers with the Mexican Red Cross and was in no way implemented by the U.S.

On Friday's Andrea Mitchell Reports, host Mitchell asserted that Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was "blaming the victim" when she correctly warned that it is very dangerous to cross the desert illegally in reaction to recent news of a child dying possibly of dehydration after her father crossed the desert illegally from Mexico. Correspondent Jacob Soboroff suggested that the Trump administration is "forcing" illegals to cross under dangerous circumstances through the desert because of long wait times at legal ports of entry.

On Thursday afternoon, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell and Capitol Hill correspondent Kasie Hunt were gleeful as they discussed Nancy Pelosi striking a deal with “rebel” Democrats to ensure her position as Speaker of the House. They both agreed that a contentious Oval Office meeting with President Trump had given Pelosi a boost during one of her “best weeks in politics.”

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Andrea Mitchell oddly claimed that President Donald Trump was using a "racial dog whistle" against Mississippi Democratic Senate nominee Mike Espy as the MSNBC host discussed Trump commenting that Espy's far-left politics do not "fit in" with his strongly conservative home state.

On Friday's Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC, fill-in host Katy Tur led a discussion of President Donald Trump's handling of the illegal immigrant caravan as she and other panel members suggested the President deliberately wishes to stoke violence by stationing military troops on the border with Mexico. Tur also went into a self-admitted "rant" in which she fretted that Trump is exaggerating border security problems for political gain.

On Monday night’s Special Report, Fox News anchor Bret Baier took time to correct false reporting from MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell earlier that day claiming incompetent Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes was a “Republican,” when, in fact, the Florida official was a lifelong Democrat.

It’s a classic liberal media move to have sudden new respect for a Republican president…who is no longer in office. And that’s what happened on Thursday’s Andrea Mitchell Reports as journalists longed for the days of “gentleman” Ronald Reagan and the way he treated the press. Reacting to Donald Trump revoking the press credentials of CNN journalist Jim Acosta, the New York Times’s Peter Baker got nostalgic: “Ronald Reagan never threw out Sam Donaldson. George W. Bush never threw out Helen Thomas.”

Appearing on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports Thursday afternoon, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd praised liberal media mogul Oprah Winfrey’s stump speech for Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, touting the address a contrast between the former talk show host’s “better angels” and President Trump’s “darker demons.”

On her Tuesday afternoon show, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell gave former Virginia Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe an unchallenged forum to repeat discredited claims that Georgia Republicans have engaged in "voter suppression" targeting black voters.

Appearing on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports on Monday, Lou Weiss, a congregant of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh that was attacked by a gunman over the weekend, lectured the liberal news anchor on “trying to politicize every aspect” of the tragedy by blaming President Trump for the violence. He told Mitchell that such efforts only lead to a “dead end.”

Over the past few weeks, the broadcast networks -- and especially CNN and MSNBC -- have promoted claims by Democrats that thousands of minority voters in Georgia have been discriminated against because at least 53,000 new voter registrations were put on hold as "pending" until mistakes could be corrected. But those same networks have ignored recent revelations about why those applications were put on hold in the first place that discredit claims of racial discrimination.
