The legion of the perpetually aggrieved "white supremacy"-obsessed jumped on a Monday remark by Trump administration Attorney General Jeff Sessions to concoct a bogus "racial dogwhistle" when he used the term "Anglo-American heritage of law enforcement" in a speech to the National Sheriffs' Association. Five days in, many of them still haven't acknowledged that former President Barack Obama and others in his administration have used the term without generating controversy.

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued the following open letter today in response to ongoing hateful comments made by ABC hosts, including The View’s Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin. Hostin referred to Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith as “dangerous.” Behar equated it to a “mental illness.”

The 2018 Winter Olympics were in full swing and Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and head of their Propaganda and Agitation Department, had bizarrely become a liberal media darling. Despite the fact her job entailed censorship and glorifying public executions, numerous outlets had touted her for “stealing the show,” winning “diplomatic gold,” being the “Ivanka Trump of North Korea,” and hyping the extremely creepy North Korean cheerleading corp.

Wednesday afternoon, the Tennessean reported that Nashville Mayor Megan Barry disclosed that "she had an extramarital affair with the police officer in charge of her security detail." The paper's story tagged Barry as a Democrat (in their fourth paragraph), but national stories seen at the Associated Press and ABC News have not.

By now, you’ve probably heard the news. The Walt Disney Company has announced a definitive mega-deal to merge with Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox, which includes the FX cable channel and – more importantly – the 20th Century Fox motion picture studio. The deal is worth over $50 billion, and is set to close by the end of next year. It does not, however, include the FOX Broadcasting Company, FOX News, FOX Business, and channels such as FS1 and FS2 — all of which will be spun off into an independent company.

Timothy Egan at the New York Times is so enamored of the mythology surrounding Barack Obama that he claimed in a Friday column that the 44th President's rhetoric "was the best American music" which "celebrated" a United States where, in Egan's words, "people from all races, ideologies and religious sects would check their hatreds at the door after becoming citizens." He pretended that the nation's current identity-driven divisions are all due to current President Donald Trump.

ABC News has obtained court records of a grievance filed by Colin Kaepernick accusing the NFL of collusion and declaring President Trump is "an organizing force" in his ongoing free agency. During a day noted for a marked decline in players kneeling in protest, a trend Kaepernick started last year as a member of the San Francisco 49ers to protest police brutality and racial inequality, the grievance revelations exploded across the internet this afternoon.

After a week's worth of scrambling, the establishment media finally found a face around which to frame their anti-Trump political coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane Maria's devastating impact upon the island of Puerto Rico. That face, of course, is San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz. But as always, one must be watchful for what is missing from a report - and this sudden lionization of Mayor Cruz is no exception.

Mainstream media bias isn't just against President Trump, but also Israel. On Friday, CNN, NBC, ABC, and CBS published headlines equating three terrorists behind clashes in the West Bank during the day with three Israelis who were stabbed to death the following night in the area.

On Monday morning, ABC News announced that the network’s website would begin airing a show entitled The Briefing Room after each White House press briefing, further validating the view that the briefing has devolved into a circus of liberal journalists trying to become viral sensations.

The latest episode in the Trump administration's long-running legal battle to impose a temporary ban on travel from several nations concluded on Monday. Its result, as described by National Review's David French, was that "in a per curiam ruling, the Supreme Court restored the vast majority of the Trump administration’s temporary travel ban — including the temporary ban on refugee entry." Much of the establishment press is nevertheless describing this major Trump administration legal victory as "partial" and "limited." Most reports are also failing to note that the ruling was unanimous.
