Over the span of just 26 hours on Monday and Tuesday, the network morning and evening newscasts featured mentions of impeachment a stunning 73 times while hyping the controversy over President Trump’s July phone call with the president of Ukraine.

On Monday, the network morning shows managed to feature some variant of the word “impeachment” a total of 17 times while reporting on President Trump’s phone call with the President of Ukraine about corruption allegations against Joe Biden’s son Hunter. In addition, ABC, NBC and CBS eagerly touted a letter from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accusing Trump of “lawlessness.”

An anonymous intelligence official has claimed that President Trump said something to someone during a phone call that the unnamed official found troubling. That is a summation of the flimsy reporting in The Washington Post that all three network morning shows seized on Thursday morning. With almost no facts to go on, reporters on NBC, ABC, and CBS breathlessly declared a “growing scandal” and “potential constitutional showdown” over the matter.

On Wednesday night, all three network evening newscasts hailed radical teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg sailing across the Atlantic to attend a United Nations global warming summit but ignored the inconvenient truth that the trip won’t actually save carbon emissions. On Thursday, NBC’s Today show and CBS This Morning kept cheering on the “climate crusader” while skipping that detail, with one host even confessing she was “smitten” with Thunberg.

On Tuesday, the hosts of NBC’s Today show fawned over New York Times writer Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of President Kennedy, authoring “a new book that explores the role we all play in climate change.” While the headline on screen throughout the segment labeled Schlossberg an “activist,” the climate crusader was repeatedly referred to as a “journalist” throughout the softball exchange.

On Monday, NBC’s Today show attempted to pass off an effort by Hillary Clinton supporters to infiltrate the Republican Party as a legitimate effort to recruit GOP women to run for office in 2020. During the report, White House correspondent Kristen Welker talked to several female “Republican” candidates but failed to mention that the founders of the grassroots group backing those candidates actively campaigned for Clinton in 2016.

Somehow one just knew this was coming. The virulent anti-Semitism that has been metastasizing through the American Left and the Democratic Party is being given a pass by the Leftist State Media. As Nicholas Fondacaro has noted correctly, the blatant anti-Semitism of Democratic Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashia Tlaib (D-MI), who have been barred from Israel by the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has been covered up by the Big Three networks.

On Thursday, news broke that Israel would block Democratic Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from visiting the country due to their calls for a boycott of the Jewish state. In response, MSNBC thought it was important to provide viewers with a supposed “fact check” claiming that the far-left lawmakers, who both have a history of anti-Semitism, didn’t “hate” Israel.

With the so-called “inverted yield curve” for bonds creeping up on Wednesday, ABC and NBC sprinted to stoke fears that “a recession could be on the horizon”, as NBC White House correspondent Kristen Welker declared. But over on CBS Evening News, chief financial analyst Jill Schlesinger was telling viewers to “run your life as if this were just any old day.”

During coverage of the horrific mass shootings that happened over the weekend, on Monday, NBC’s Today show eagerly touted Democrats rushing to blame President Trump’s rhetoric for the attack in El Paso, Texas. Several quotes from 2020 Democratic presidential candidates claiming the President “bears some responsibility” for the killings were featured in the report.

The day after the disasters that were the Democratic-led hearings with former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) seemed crestfallen that their high hopes for President Trump’s impeachment were puttering out. Their Thursday flagship evening newscasts reflected that mood as they talked about the hearings not having the “punch” needed to push certain Democrats to back impeachment, leaving a “divide” in the party.

The Tuesday evening before the highly anticipated congressional testimony of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the liberal broadcast networks tried to reassure their viewers that the Democrats were going in prepared. Hyping how Democrats were “huddling” in “one last prep session”, the networks noted the Wednesday hearing “might be their last chance to convince the American public on impeachment.”
