On Joy Reid's MSNBC show, ex-Republican Kurt Bardella claims that because Pres. Trump uses the term "Chinese virus," Asians "can't go on the subway without being attacked. They can't go to school without being attacked."
Just before midnight Eastern Tuesday into Wednesday, various MSNBC guests reminded all of us that, despite the unprecedently grim state of the world, the liberal media will still act terribly and ensure NewsBusters will continue to be flush with content. Between deeming President Trump incompetent, comparing him leading to William Shatner flying a plane, and wondering if America would survive a second Trump term, here was a lot to go through in just 15 minutes
On Tuesday, far-left weekend MSNBC anchor Joy Reid took to Twitter to conduct an informal poll on whether Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had “credibility.” This is the same Joy Reid who falsely claimed in 2018 that offensive past posts on her now-defunct blog were caused by hacking.
On Saturday, President Trump declared Sunday, March 15, a "National Day of Prayer for All Americans Affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic and for our National Response Efforts." How did the press cover it? Barely, accept for Fox News. MSNBC's Joy Reid made fun of it.
On Joy Reid's MSNBC show, leftist guest Eric Boehlert called Fox News a "cancer on this country" that has been "getting people killed for years." Reid quoted to Boehlert from a Washington Post column that suggested that Rupert Murdoch should force Fox News to "tell the truth" about coronavirus, and also use his influence with President Trump on the matter.
Hard-core socialists aren't letting a national emergency go to waste. They want to exploit it to realize their ultimate dream: government ownership of the means of production--the very definition of socialism. On Joy Reid's MSNBC show this morning, Bill de Blasio, the extreme-left mayor of New York City, actually proposed the: "nationalization, literally a nationalization, of crucial factories and industries that can produce the medical supplies that can prepare this country for what we need."
MSNBC’s Joy Reid sent out a flippant tweet in an attempt to denigrate the Trump administration’s plan to direct the Small Business Administration to provide liquidity to states and small business owners through low-interest loans to provide economic relief from the coronavirus impact. Reid stated, “Who knew low-interest business loans were the key to stopping the coronavirus spread?” Fox Business' Melissa Francis let Reid have it: “Have you ever been responsible for making payroll, ever?”
With hours like Wednesday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern, MSNBC’s Joy Reid will have the hour long held by Chris Matthews sealed up. Engaging in irresponsible behavior, lying to viewers, and a parade of guests serving as clapping seals, Reid did nothing to responsibly inform the public about the coronavirus and instead fear-monger thanks to her hatred for President Trump and Fox News.
Remember this the next time you hear a liberal bemoaning President Trump's "coarsening of the dialog." On her MSNBC show today, Joy Reid declared Donna Brazile the Winner of the Week for having told RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel to "go to Hell."
Joy Reid indulged in some particularly ugly scapegoating/scaremongering this morning. On her MSNBC show today, Reid twice depicted the children of Trump supporters as a coronavirus threat to "your kids." Reid's notion was that Trump supporters, "God love 'em," are gullible, credulous rubes who blindly believe anything the president says. And since President Trump has supposedly claimed that coronavirus is a "hoax," his supporters will ignore their children's symptoms, and send them off to school where they can infect "your kids."
It's a sign of the Democrats' disarray. Poor Joy Reid has been reduced to begging the Bernie Bros not to attack one of her guests for the sin of pointing out that Sanders is a socialist! Earlier in her MSNBC show Sunday Reid said that Dems haven't hit Sanders with oppo research "because there's a blowback if you even say his name" in other than a positive way. Reid fretted that she would be getting "ethered" on twitter for mentioning Sanders.
During MSNBC's coverage of the Nevada caucus, Joy Reid says that by tweeting that he will not let the Democratic establishment stop him, Bernie Sanders is "kicking to the curb" 65 million Hillary Clinton voters, among others. Reid also describes as "Trumpy" Sanders's criticism of the Washington Post for waiting until one day before the Nevada caucus to release the month-old news that the Sanders campaign had been briefed on the fact that Russia is seeking to intervene to aid his campaign.
