CNN journalist Jeff Zeleny on Monday made sure to point out that many victims of the Las Vegas massacre were “likely Trump supporters.” He also noted a Trump hotel in the area before saying of the president: “So, this is something I'm not surprised at all to see him go there visiting early.”

Appearing on Monday’s Today, former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw predictably used the tragic shooting in Las Vegas as an excuse to push the gun control agenda even as the police were still in the early stages of the investigation. “Well, I think this is time for a national dialogue that we can have in a calm and reasoned way in which the country can figure out how come we have so many mass shootings in this country,” the special correspondent proclaimed.

Esquire columnist Charles Pierce immediately politicized the tragic shooting in Las Vegas as he sickeningly exploited the victims to attack the Second Amendment as he raged: “The massacre of country music fans is....the 273rd blood sacrifice to that one provision of the Constitution this year.” The former Boston Globe columnist, on Monday, also disgustingly blamed the massacre on gun owners, Wayne LaPierre, Donald Trump and Christians.

Wasting no time, ABC on Monday jumped to gun control and finding possible villains for the mass slaughter in Las Vegas. Reporter Cecilia Vega cited a Hillary Clinton tweet bashing the NRA and worried about GOP gun legislation in the House. With the facts still unclear, Good Morning America co-host George Stephanopoulos lectured, “This is going to re-open the debate over guns in this country.”

Will Ricciardella at the Daily Caller reports a top legal executive at CBS named Hayley Geftman-Gold spewed on Facebbok that she “is not even sympathetic” for the hundreds of victims of a mass shooter in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

Following the horrific Las Vegas shooting, the media are applauding the heroism of officers who endangered themselves to save citizens. Along with her husband, Gail Davis attended the Las Vegas country music concert where a gunman ruthlessly killed at least 58 and injured more than 500 on Sunday night. Surviving what media are reporting as the deadliest shooting in U.S. modern history, Davis told CBS This Morning she owed her life to a police officer who acted as her "guardian angel."

After Sunday night’s horrific mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, some in the liberal media couldn’t help but try to politicize the awful tragedy that left 50 people dead and hundreds more injured. During MSNBC’s live coverage in the 9 am PST hour October 2nd, anchor Stephanie Ruhle and former NYC Police Commissioner William Bratton blamed Nevada’s “relaxed” gun laws to argue that if the state had more regulation, something like this couldn’t have happened.

The elite have their versions of ambulance chasers. In the wake of a national tragedy, the insensitive calls from wealthy celebrities and journalists to join the bandwagon of liberal political activism showcases their complete lack of empathy.

Calling in to Monday’s Today show, Las Vegas shooting eyewitness Russell Bleck praised police for their response to the tragic attack and criticized some of the recent National Anthem protests in the NFL: “I mean, just God bless the police officers. I mean, in a world where everyone’s kneeling, these guys stood up and took – I mean, they knew what they were against and they ran towards the danger with just handguns. I mean, that’s real bravery right there.”
