Conservatives & Republicans
On Saturday's AM Joy on MSNBC, during discussions of President Donald Trump and the Russia investigation, not only did MSNBC justice analyst Matthew Miller dismiss Republicans as being in a "right-wing coccoon" that is rewarded by Fox News for "bad behavior," but terrorism analyst Malcolm Nance likened Trump to the "evil" Darth Vader licking the boots of Vladimir Putin as the Emperor.
On Friday morning, as the networks informed viewers that Facebook has banned several controversial political groups and individuals from having an account, ABC, CBS, NBC, and MSNBC all failed to inform viewers that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has been tied to the left, even while the same shows made a point of using terms like "far-right" to describe others affected by the ban.
The beauty of establishing three million plus politically correct rules to defend your weird fringe diversity interests is that you’ll never have a shortage of things to be angry about. Hollywood Reporter published an insipid collection of anecdotes from anonymous minority individuals complaining about fellow Hollywood staffers’ idiosyncrasies, and spun it as “10 pieces of advice to avoid missteps and marginalization on set and in meetings.”
Just minutes after the April jobs report was released Friday morning, showing the unemployment rate dropping to its lowest point since 1969, MSNBC fretted that the booming economy would be a serious political “challenge” for Democrats in 2020. Anchor Chris Jansing went to work trying to take credit away from the Trump administration and downplaying the numbers.
On Wednesday's The 11th Hour with Brian Williams on MSNBC, during a discussion of Fox News reaction to Attorney General Bill Barr's testimony on the Mueller report, John Heilemann derided FNC host Sean Hannity as a "steaming, hot pile of Hannity" who is as "happy as a pig in ****" as the MSNBC national affairs analyst seemed annoyed at having to react to the conservative Fox News host's commentary.
My longtime friend and colleague Dr. Thomas Sowell has just published a revised and enlarged edition of “Discrimination and Disparities.” It lays waste to myth after myth about the causes of human differences not only in the United States but around the globe. Throughout the book, Sowell shows that socioeconomic outcomes differ vastly among individuals, groups and nations in ways that cannot be easily explained by any one factor, whether it's genetics, sex or race discrimination or a history of gross mistreatment that includes expulsion and genocide.
On three separate occasions during Attorney General William Barr’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, MSNBC interrupted its live, supposedly “gavel-to-gavel” coverage of the hearing. The one thing all those moments had in common was that Republican lawmakers were the ones talking when anchor Brian Williams chose to cut them off to “correct the record.”
Things got awkward on Wednesday’s Hardball amidst the liberal media-wide meltdown over Attorney General Bill Barr’s Senate testimony when, during an interview with Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA), host Chris Matthews compared the use of executive privilege to losing one’s virginity. Needless to say, Harris appeared visibly uncomfortable and so Matthews apologized a few minutes later.
Despite laying out the arguments from both sides following Wednesday’s Senate hearing with Attorney General Bill Barr, CNN Newsroom’s panel of analysts and hosts repeatedly illustrated before, during, and afterward that they would dutifully play the role of not just liberal partisans, but carry water for 2020 Democratic presidential candidates by attacking the “defensive” Barr who’s leaving “his legacy” in “tatters.”
You know, for all the liberal media’s talk political language inciting violence, you would think MSNBC would be keener and watch the words they use. Immediately following Attorney General William Barr’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday afternoon, serial liar Brian Williams took to MSNBC Live and was infatuated with the radical California Senator Kamala Harris (D) and how she had “drew blood” from the AG. Gross.
Just hours before Attorney General William Barr sat down to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, all three network morning shows used Democratic talking points to frame the upcoming hearing. Reporters hyped an “explosive” newly-revealed letter from Special Counsel Robert Mueller as a “bombshell” that would ensure a “grilling” of Barr.
Needless to say, CNN is not having a good Hump Day. On Wednesday afternoon, the panel of liberal journalists, lefty partisans, and former Obama officials breathed fire over Attorney General Barr’s Senate testimony, attacking Barr as “deceptive and deceitful” and “weak” while uttering “alternative facts” and chugging water. And as for Republican Senators, they were panned as partisan hacks “from Mars” with no concern for stopping Russian interference while Democrats are doing yeoman’s work for the people on the Trump-Russia probe.
