In the wake of the petty insults leveled at Vice President Mike Pence and his wife on the part of the LGBTQ-obsessed media, Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins appeared on Fox & Friends January 21 to remind conservatives that this is not just routine slander against politicians, but reflects the left’s desire to eradicate Christian education in America.

To no one’s surprise, Democrat Senator Kamala Harris announced she was running for president in 2020 on ABC’s Good Morning America Monday, and the network couldn’t have been more thrilled. ABC’s Twitter account flooded with memes they made of Harris’s image with inspirational quotes behind and links to her 2020 announcement on GMA. During the interview, anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos mostly threw softballs and didn’t ask Harris about her party's problem with anti-Semitism.

Lady Gaga started off her new Las Vegas residency, dubbed “Enigma,” with a political bang. The famous avant-garde singer, now A-list actress, took time out of her Saturday show to blast Vice President Mike Pence as a “disgrace” to his Christianity, and complained to the crowd about the “fucking president” not getting the government back up and running.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is facing a series of interviewers pressing her to account for being "too conservative" on immigration when she was in the House of Representatives. It happened on ABC yesterday, and it happened on CNN's State of the Union. Jake Tapper pressed her from the Left, but at least put a Trump needle in there:

After a two month-long hiatus, Real Time With Bill Maher returned to the airwaves Friday. This episode was true to form when it comes to Trump-bashing, with the eponymous host calling President Trump a “dangerous menace” and a “terrorist.” At the beginning of the show, Maher interviewed John Kasich; the former Republican Governor of Ohio who now works as a CNN Contributor. Maher repeatedly tried to get Kasich, an outspoken Trump critic, to call the President a “dangerous menace.”

On ABC's This Week, host Martha Raddatz began the program with Democrat presidential aspirant Kirsten Gillibrand, but never asked her a single question about the Women's March controversies over anti-Semitism, even though she spoke on Saturday at a Women's March event in Des Moines. But Raddatz pressed Sen. Jim Lankford (R-Okla.) to denounce a viral video that alleged to show Catholic teenagers in MAGA hats harassing a Native American man beating a drum...she even blamed this alleged hate crime on Donald Trump's tone against Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Caleb Howe at Mediaite touted a finding in a new PBS/NPR/Marist poll that they weren't promoting: "Shock Poll: Trump Gains 19 Points with Latino Voters During Border Wall Shutdown." PBS and NPR promoted other poll findings, even from small subsets of respondents, but not this one.

The Mr. & Mrs. Mike Pence hate train has been receiving quite a few guests onboard in the last week, what with Huffington Post and several CNN anchors insisting that the Second Lady is a homophobic bigot for working at a devout Christian school. Now that VP Mike Pence has come to her defense, more lefties are calling him an “extremist” who exists in the same camp as actual hate-peddlers like Louis Farrakhan and the Ku Klux Klan.

Imagine a Christian school that believes what Christians have believed for 2,000 years, and what everybody believed until the day before yesterday! Now imagine a believing Christian agreeing to work for that believing Christian school! Now, (and get ready to shift your outrage gear to nuclear) imagine that Christian was none other than second lady of the United States Karen Pence, an unapologetic Christian married to unapologetic Christian and VP Mike Pence.

Amidst all the mockery over President Trump serving  fast food to the Clemson Tigers football team in the White House, there was one surprising contrary note. It came from Megan Garber of the Atlantic magazine on Tuesday which was unusual because she didn't seem to be a fan of Trump judging from her past writings.

“Welcome to the Stephen Colbert primary,” that was headline of an online article written by CNN Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter on Monday, as he touted CBS’s Late Show “proving to be a key stop for Democrats who are positioning themselves for 2020 presidential bids.” On Wednesday morning, MSNBC echoed the sentiment, proclaiming the liberal late night comedian to be an “unofficial power broker” in the Democratic primary.

Liberal CBS host Stephen Colbert is quickly becoming the home of choice for 2020 Democrats announcing they are running for president. On Tuesday’s Late Show, Colbert went so far as to hold hands with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand as he excitedly wondered, “So I'm just curious, do you have anything you would like to announce?” There were no tough questions. Quite a contrast to when the host grilled actor Kevin Hart last week about years-old politically incorrect comments, telling the comic star “It’s my show, I’ll do whatever the f**k I want.”
