MSNBC Live host Stephanie Ruhle became the latest media personality on Tuesday to express hope that the current pandemic might present an opportunity to enact left-wing policies. Speaking with Bernie Sanders, Ruhle asked, "Then is there -- maybe I sound romantic, but is there an opportunity to create at a time like this a better, smarter, more inclusive capitalism?"

On Tuesday's All In show, MSNBC contributor and disgruntled former Republican Steve Schmidt was full of hyperbole as he decried Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Jeanine Pirro as "spectacularly nuts," and incorrectly claimed that one is more likely to die of coronavirus in the U.S. than in any other country.

If there was ever a reason to defund liberal National Public Radio (NPR) from its taxpayer cash flows, this latest news surely makes a strong case. NPR’s Media Correspondent, Host and Editor David Folkenflik published a glowing piece heralding how a “pair of philanthropists” Eric Schmidt (former Google CEO) and wife Wendy Schmidt are “seeking to promote more local coverage from public radio with a gift of $4.7 million for NPR collaborations in the Midwest and California.”

President Donald Trump retweeted a video on Saturday that was quickly deleted.

The video was a short clip from a speech that conservative Michelle Malkin gave decrying social media censorship of conservative voices.

The View co-host Meghan McCain irritated her co-hosts on Wednesday’s show by calling out the left’s convenient double standards on sexual assault allegations made against men in positions of power. The co-hosts were blasting Matt Lauer’s “fact-check” of the rape allegations against him, when Joy Behar brought up the accusations against Joe Biden, and cautioned how we shouldn’t actually “believe all women.”

In one of the richest counties in America, hundreds of cars line up for food assistance. It’s a scene repeated around the country. But mega-millionaire actor Robert De Niro wants the economy to stay shut down, warning of “a global ecological collapse.” Business owners have been fined or jailed from New York to California just for trying to serve their customers, but to fat cat celebrities Rob Reiner and Kathy Griffin, these people are ignorant “patriots” who are angry they can’t get their “hair done” or go “golfing.”

While clips will be available on his YouTube channel, world-famous podcast host Joe Rogan is moving his massively popular and free talk show exclusively to the Spotify platform. “The Joe Rogan Experience, one of the most popular podcasts in the world, is coming to Spotify via a multi-year exclusive licensing deal,” Spotify announced in a May 19 announcement. The announcement summarized Rogan’s appea, suggesting he “brings his sensibilities as a stand-up comic to the show,” and “fearlessly broaches far-ranging topics including neuroscience, sports, comedy, health, infectious disease, and our ever-changing culture.”

This morning on CNN Newsroom, CNN White House correspondent John Harwood attacked Trump allies in the GOP for looking for doctors who support reopening the economy to appear on television and advocate this position. CNN obtained this information from a leaked conference call between members of Trump’s reelection campaign, discussing finding pro-Trump doctors who will go on television and advocate the need to reopen.

According to Gayle King, the coronavirus pandemic has kept the media from covering a VERY serious story related to Joe Biden. The Tara Reade sexual assault allegation? No, of course not. Biden’s endorsements. That was the claim made on Tuesday’s Late Show as Stephen Colbert asked King what stories were being ignored during COVID.

It’s funny how liberal journalists suddenly warn of media bias when they are the ones facing press scrutiny. That hypocrisy was on full display Tuesday, when Mediaite decided to publish an op/ed from disgraced former Today show host Matt Lauer, who portrayed himself as a victim of “shoddy journalism.” On Wednesday, both NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America seized on the article, framing it as Lauer’s “fact-check” of rape allegations against himself.

Keir Simmons joined Andrea Mitchell on her Tuesday MSNBC show to report on the latest developments surrounding the World Health Organization, President Trump, and China. During which, he argued that the to the rest of the world it appears that the United States is "just criticizing," while China is "making proposals" to the consternation of U.S. allies.

Comedian Patton Oswalt has obviously never watched The View, otherwise he wouldn’t be calling Fox & Friends the “height of evil.” (Seriously, theologians often cite The View’s concentration of yammering harpies as proof of the existence of Satan -- and thus God. North Korean defectors whisper of political prisoners subjected to isolated audio of Joy Behar.)

May is when most schools celebrate the end of an academic year by hosting commencement ceremonies featuring speeches made by guest speakers giving students advice on how to remain successful after graduation. However, the humorless scolds at The Washington Post and other outlets weren't happy with Ben Sasse's jokes during his speech.

If you're the head of a sports organization and you complain about media basis, you're just taking a leaf out of President Donald Trump's book on media criticism. So says Guardian Sport in a Tuesday post. UFC President Dana White on Monday evening told Fox News' Sean Hannity that the New York Times, the Guardian and other media tried to sabotage his May 9 fight card in Jacksonville.

The following are the Top 14 worst examples of liberal media types discovering the “bright spot” of the coronavirus crisis:
