Before even the first commercial could be aired on Wednesday's New Day, CNN managed to claim that repealing ObamaCare was wrong, the GOP had "rigged" the Senate process, and even suggested that McCain was a hypocrite for voting to open debate on health care.
CBS hosts Stephen Colbert and Charlie Rose are disgusted with the “moral heresy” delivered by Donald Trump when he spoke to the Boy Scouts on Monday. Rose appeared on Tuesday’s Late Show and the first thing he wanted to talk about was the speech: “Boy, that interview with the Boy Scouts keeps on giving, doesn't it?”
The liberal media’s message to Donald Trump is clear. Don’t even dare think about removing Robert Mueller from his position as Special Prosecutor. Such a decision would be considered a “radical” and “dangerous” move against a man “even Republicans” have a deep respect for. However, this was hardly the stance the liberal media took when Ken Starr was first appointed to look into Bill Clinton’s Whitewater scandal in the nineties. Back then, Starr was accused of “McCarthyism” and conducting a “Salem witch trial” into a “parody of a political scandal.” The following is a collection, culled from the MRC’s archives, of liberal journalists running interference for then President Bill Clinton as they depicted Starr as an out of control prosecutor.
The July 25 episode of The Bold Type “If You Can’t Do It with Feeling,” ran with the idea of the Trump era creating a culture of fear and hate, and used that false fear to excuse violence by the left.
It's no secret that the establishment press's pro-abortion posture is so strong and pervasive that one wonders if supporting it is a job prerequisite. One clear manifestation of that is how journalists treat attempts to regulate conduct and disclosure at abortion clinics with outraged hysteria, while ignoring attempts to silence and marginalize pro-life groups attempting to show pregnant women that there is an alternative to eliminating the unborn lives they are carrying. The Associated Press is especially experienced in engaging in this double standard.
If there's anyone left in America who still thinks the national newspapers aren’t partisan, he must have missed the front page of USA Today on July 24. The banner headline across the top read “USA split on Trump impeachment.” They took a poll attempting to figure out very publicly if the voters want Trump impeached yet.
The story proclaimed a dark omen in the results, which is why the newspaper asked the poll question. “Just six months after his inauguration, Americans already are split down the middle, 42%-42%, over whether President Trump should be removed from office, a new USA Today/iMediaEthics Poll finds.”
Late Tuesday afternoon, it was announced that Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fl.) had fired shady I.T. staffer Imran Awan after being arrested trying to flee the country amid a criminal investigation. And yet the “big three” networks ignored this piece of breaking news.
Appearing as a guest on Tuesday's MSNBC Live, ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber -- infamous for advising President Barack Obama to deceive the public to get ObamaCare passed -- claimed that now, unlike in the past when politicians were just "bending the truth," now they are "explicitly lying" as Republicans prepare to move ahead on repealing ObamaCare.
MSNBC’s AM Joy host Joy Reid went on an unhinged Twitter tirade against none other than yours truly on Tuesday afternoon, decrying me as, among other things, an ugly person “represent[ing] the foulest tradition in American history” who hates not only Jesus but the poor. This whole meltdown began when Reid tweeted a tasteless attack on brain cancer-stricken Republican Senator John McCain (Ariz.).
During a panel discussion on the Cable News Network on Tuesday, July 25, John Avlon -- editor-in-chief of the liberal Daily Beast website and a CNN political analyst -- claimed that with all the turmoil surrounding GOP President Donald Trump, “the only thing that unites his coalition right now seems to be hatred of Hillary Clinton.”
You won’t believe what Trump just did! Celebrities like Levar Burton and media personalities like Joy Reid are “disgusted,” “horrified” and “disturbed.” They even accused the President of the United States of “abuse of children.” The uproar came after the president gave a speech at the annual Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia on July 24, 2017.
Jason Johnson, politics editor for TheRoot.com, a sectarian site dedicated to “black news, opinion, politics and culture”, appeared on MSNBC Live with Stephanie Ruhle Tuesday morning to discuss President Trump’s verbal spar with Attorney General Jeff Sessions. In keeping with the hyper-racialized rhetoric that litters the site, the editor went on a slanderous tirade against Sessions.
Take it from a liberal media expert: pro-life conservatives are really “vampiric” “vultures” who “exploit” “dying babies” to create their own “spectacle.” That’s according to one Salon writer – who seems to be wearing her own pair of spectacles.
When it comes to the value life, the networks are prioritizing a baby animal above a baby human – down to the very minute. During Tuesday morning’s news shows, the three broadcast networks combined spent more time on a 3-month-old orca’s death than on a 11-month-old British baby’s impending death.
NPR's Morning Edition on Monday zeroed in on a pro-life group's ongoing protest outside Kentucky's last abortion clinic. Correspondent Lisa Gillespie featured three pro-abortion activists during her report versus just one pro-lifer. Gillespie also let one of the abortion backers smear pro-lifers as potential terrorists. Vicki Saporta of the National Abortion Federation contended that prosecuting those who use the controversial tactic of blocking abortion clinic entrances prevents "the kinds of arsons, bombings, and murders that we've too often seen."
