MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell has dropped any pretense of being an objective journalist. That was never more apparent than on her Tuesday show today, where she lashed out at the acting ICE director for blaming the parents who come to America, illegally, for being separated from their children by law enforcement.

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman has twice in one week put his brand of classless leftist vulgarity on display after a national tragedy, this time by using the El Paso massacre to accuse Republicans of being terrorists and white supremacists. “Useful Idiots And Trumpist Billionaires" used a Trump fundraiser by the owner of Equinox and SoulCycle to claim Trump is trying to raise a "white nationalist regime." Last week Krugman said "the G.O.P. has become a systematic enabler of terrorism."

Appearing on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers Monday night, aired early Tuesday morning, left-wing actor George Takei launched into a tirade labeling the detention of illegal immigrants along the U.S. southern border to be a “grotesque new low,” “evil,” and an “American disgrace.” The rant came just one month after he compared immigration detention centers to “concentration camps” in an interview with GQ magazine.

At this writing, the Chinese communist regime looks ready to crack down on protesters in Hong Kong. It remains to be seen whether the standoff ends in a Tiananmen Square-style bloodbath, but the demonstrations pose a direct challenge to the Chinese government, and Beijing will respond forcefully -- its what authoritarian regimes do.

On Friday, unsealed court documents named former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell and former Clinton cabinet official and ex-New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson as among those who allegedly had sex with an underage victim of Jeffrey Epstein. But while all three evening news broadcasts covered the case, one thing was missing: any hint that those two men are Democrats.

A lawsuit against Facebook has ended in a loss for the massive social media platform. Reuters reported that a federal court ruled against Facebook, declaring that it illegally collected and stored biometric data of users without their consent. Shawn Williams, the lawyer representing the plaintiffs, said “This biometric data is so sensitive that if it is compromised, there is simply no recourse.

Finally, a lefty who doesn’t blame guns for shootings. No, Indian American activist and former Democratic congressional candidate for Colorado Saira Rao knows what’s really going on: “whiteness — ALL WHITENESS — is killing us.” Rao shared her conclusion in an August 12 tweet. The mass shootings by white males in Dayton and El Paso -- combined with her tolerant, sunny liberalism -- convinced the former candidate that America needs a campaign for “ending whiteness.”

Building what The Atlantic once described as the “biggest political machine you’ve never heard of” paid off big for liberal billionaire and Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer. He announced early on Aug. 13, that he met the 130,000 donor threshold for the September debates. “Just one more qualifying poll stands between us and that stage!” he added. Each candidate must have 2 percent support in four separate national or early state polls. Steyer currently has three, according to CNBC.

On CNN New Day Tuesday morning, the self-described “CNN squad” consisting of Trump-haters April Ryan, Bakari Sellers, Angela Rye and Andrew Gillum took a break from bashing the President on immigration laws, to complain about plastic straws. Seizing on the Trump 2020 campaign selling plastic straws in defiance of the left’s determination to ban them, the panelists began to turn on each other as some admitted they don’t like the allegedly more eco-friendly alternatives.

On Tuesday, CBS This Morning was in awe of radical climate change activist Greta Thunberg, hailing the 16-year-old from Sweden as “the voice of the planet” and touting her plan to sail across the Atlantic to attend a United Nations climate summit in New York. The report particularly applauded Thunberg for scolding the United States and President Trump for not doing enough to stop global warming.

MSNBC anchor Ayman Mohyeldin's assertion that President Trump would prefer immigration from "Nordic countries" drew a pushback from NBC correspondent Kelly O'Donnell on Monday morning.

A viral video showing CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo threatening to throw a Trump supporter down the stairs has been removed from YouTube by the platform. The YouTube channel “That’s the POINT with Brandon” posted a video showing Cuomo threatening a Trump supporter.

Listen to the two-beat sound at the very end of the clip. Reminiscent of the famous "doink-doink" from NBC's" Law & Order," no? Viewers would be forgiven for thinking that the clip [which aired on CNN this morning] was indeed a promo for a TV crime show. Or might it have been an anti-Trump attack ad from the DNC? It's not until the New York Times logo appears at the very end that it's seen to be a commercial for the newspaper, making the explicit commercial pitch ["the truth is worth it"] for an investigative attack on President Trump's finances.

In a YouTube video released on Monday by an “independent media journalist” with the title That’s the Point with Brandon,” CNN Prime Time host Chris Cuomo can be seen threatening to throw a reported “Trump supporter” down some stairs. The incident appeared to be designed to get a rise out of Cuomo, but the CNN host completely blew up at a minor slight.

After two mass shootings took place within hours of each other last week, the Sunday panelists on the Fox News Channel’s MediaBuzz discussed the concept that people in the media accused President Trump of being responsible for the shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. Our friend Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist went so far as to state that people in the media blamed Trump and his supporters for the deaths, which is “completely beyond journalists’ responsibility and a real turning point for the worst in American discourse.”
