Unsurprisingly, Politico isn’t interested in the news that Americans support Neil Gorsuch by a wide margin. As Matthew Balan at Mediaite noted on Wednesday, the liberal website buried the revelation that Americans support the judge by a 21 point margin.

Balan explained, “The readers of Politico might be slow to learn this poll result, however, as the information was buried in a Wednesday article that hyped ‘voter perceptions of President Donald Trump‘s job performance have eroded following the failure of a long-promised health care bill through Congress, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.’”

Balan, a former Media Research Center analyst, added, “The article didn’t mention the Gorsuch issue until the 14th paragraph of their write-up.” He noted:

Politico finally acknowledged near the end of the article that “one brighter spot for Trump in the poll are views of Neil Gorsuch, the federal appellate judge Trump has nominated to fill a vacancy on the Supreme Court.

On Thursday, NBC skipped its own poll showing a majority oppose the Democrats attempting to block Gorsuch. the MRC's Kyle Drennen revealed

NBC’s Today skipped the network's own new poll showing 54% of Americans opposed Democratic efforts to block a Senate vote on the judge. The findings were posted on NBCNews.com at 6 a.m. ET, one hour before the morning show began.

The NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll found that 54% of Americans thought Senate Democrats should allow a vote on Gorsuch, while only 37% were in favor of liberal lawmakers blocking the nominee. 84% of Republicans and 54% of independents supported a fair up or down vote for Gorsuch, while only 31% of Democrats did.
