The much-hated New England Patriots can't even get a break from the media for using their team plane to bring facemasks from China to America. Jemele Hill, a notorious Trump hater, criticized the team's good deed simply because Patriots owner Bob Kraft is a friend of the president's. SB Nation writer Morgan Moriarty tore into the federal government for not doing what the Patriots did.

On Wednesday's Tonight Show, NBC's Jimmy Fallon interviewed Biden and didn't ask a single tough question -- which no one who watches Fallon would expect. He tends to love-bomb whoever is booked. Fallon gushed to Biden that he was "so eloquent and beautifully spoken" at a TIME 100 gala they attended, and when Biden recited poetry on stage, "it was mind-blowing."

With the grave coronavirus pandemic worsening this week, the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefings have been far more sobering and less combative than past episodes. Sunday and Monday featured fireworks, but it wasn’t until Friday’s that tensions resurfaced as President Trump squared off in two exchanges with CNN’s Jim Acosta and CBS’s Weijia Jiang.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, CNN has shown an inability to shy away from framing the pandemic through the lens of attacking President Trump. Another tic has been their continued refusal to describe frequent guest Dr. Leana Wen as a former president of Planned Parenthood. Since our first post about Wen on March 16, the Media Research Center kept tabs on Wen’s appearances and calculated her total airtime from March 2-April 2 as 150 minutes and 27 seconds across 44 appearances as a guest or soundbite.

On her 9:00 a.m. ET hour show on Friday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle kept up her network’s effort to actually blame competitor Fox News for the spread of coronavirus across the country. She and her guests repeatedly suggested that Fox was providing “misinformation” that would “put people’s lives in danger.”

Author and journalist Katherine Stewart joined MSNBC Live host Ayman Mohyeldin on Friday to reprise an argument she made last week in the New York Times that the real bad guys of the coronavirus pandemic currently that is impacting the entire world are members of "the religious right."

What steers Google’s policy decisions? Liberal outrage, apparently. Google has made two major changes in its ad policies after massive pushback by liberals and the media. Google and YouTube completely reformed their approach to no longer allow microtargeting with ads in late 2019, something that Facebook continued to allow despite pushback. Liberals considered any allowance of Trump’s microtargeting campaign methods by Big Tech companies to be “toxic” for democracy.

Insufferable New York Times opinion columnist Thomas Friedman is exploiting the pandemic to spew climate change drivel at President Donald Trump. In an op-ed headlined “With the Coronavirus, It’s Again Trump vs. Mother Nature,” Friedman used a dubious comparison between Trump’s handling of the coronavirus and climate change as evidence he was “enamored with markets but ignorant of Mother Nature.”

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s campaign released a video in March deceptively depicting President Donald Trump calling the coronavirus a “hoax.” Twitter refused to label or take the video down, in accordance with its manipulated media policies.

Liberal critics are raving about a new film about one of their most cherished issues: abortion -- and they even managed to tie it to the Chinese coronavirus! The PG-13 film revolves around a 17-year-old character named Autumn (Sidney Flanigan) who leaves her home in Pennsylvania, where parental consent for abortion is required, to get an abortion at a Planned Parenthood in New York City.

The Washington Post sure misses irony, well unless their latest fawning book review is a big joke, because they touted the new memoir of anti-semitic activist Linda Sarsour as a fearless work aimed a destroying the “normalization of hate.” Really, Linda Sarsour? The Israel-hating, Hamas-fraternizing defender of Sharia law who was removed from far-left orgs like the Women’s March because she was a liability for their image? You’ve got to be joking.

Members of the media should take note: when even a Democrat politician from one of the most liberal states in the country won’t take your bait to bash the president, maybe you should just throw in the towel now. On The View today, California’s Governor Gavin Newsom called in to discuss how his state is responding to COVID-19. Of course the anti-Trump hosts attempted to get the liberal Democrat to attack President Trump, but surprisingly, Newsom praised the president instead.

NPR media reporter David Folkenflik singled out conservative talk-radio star Mark Levin for coronavirus mockery at the end of an April 1 story on All Things Considered story on how Dr. Anthony Fauci is making the rounds of all media -- not just Fox News, but "CBS, NPR, Telemundo, Science magazine, Barstool Sports, Desus & Mero on Showtime." But he especially hated Fox, so Levin tweeted NPR is a "agenda-driven pathetic joke of a 'news' operation."

Given how quickly and how aggressively journalists have moved to politicize the coronavirus and to blame Donald Trump, it was a bit of a shock on Friday to see Morning Joe co-host Willie Geist quiz Mayor Bll de Blasio (albeit gently) on his early incompetent handling of the virus crisis. Geist demanded, “Knowing what you know now, do you wish you'd closed the schools a little bit earlier? Do you wish you'd closed the restaurants and bars a little bit earlier, just to stop the spread and maybe save some lives?”

Liberal critics’ favorite show is coming back with an episode that fulfills every lefty’s sweetest dream. CBS All Access’s anti-Trump The Good Fight returns for season 4 with a premiere that imagines an alt history where Hillary Clinton won the presidency in 2016.
