Lately, he’s taking to decrying many things the President does and says as somehow racist. During Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson called Toobin out for his hyperbolic wailing.

CBS News was rocked by yet another high-profile firing on Wednesday after the network gave the boot to long-time 60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager. The embattled producer was under scrutiny after claims of sexual misconduct surfaced. The firing came after he sent text messages to a female CBS reporter covering the story threating to end her career at the network.
On her 2:00 p.m. ET hour show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur predictably exploited Hurricane Florence to push the left’s climate change agenda and condemn “deniers” in the Trump administration. She brought on liberal environmental activist Bill Nye and ex-Clinton administration official Paul Bledsoe to provide even more alarmist rhetoric.
MSNBC’s Hardball was in rare form on Tuesday, featuring host Chris Matthews and his various guests perpetually stepping in it. It started with Matthews comparing anti-Trump books to the synoptic Gospels and it snowballed from there, ranging from Matthews touting John Kerry’s new book as being so monumental, panelists the President lacking empathy for hurricane 9/11 victims, and ending with Matthews dubbing the First Family “un-American.”
Andrea Mitchell on Wednesday unsurprisingly attempted to politicize disaster relief, lecturing the FEMA administrator about responsibility for infrastructure. She even went back to Hurricane Katrina as an example. To her annoyance, FEMA’s Brock Long corrected her on the facts.
During Tuesday’s The Lead, the CNN panel complained that President Trump did not act like a “Consoler-in-Chief” on the seventeenth anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, describing his behavior as “uber inappropriate” and suggested he may be “missing a human screw.”

The reason: Nixon plans to legalize marijuana, calling the issue one of “racial justice”.
Nightline host Dan Harris on Tuesday night pushed the “legendary” Bob Woodward to declare Donald Trump unfit for office, hyping his new book Fear. In the segment, Woodward decried the “war on truth” from the White House. This prompted the ABC anchor to push Woodward for even more. He wondered: “The truth, [Woodward] says, contained in what he hopes will be a historical document that allows Americans of all stripes to come to informed conclusions. In your view, is President Trump fit for office?”
The media don’t care about online censorship -- unless it happens to them. The liberal site ThinkProgress cried foul after it was fact checked for a story it posted on Facebook involving Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The original article said Kavanaugh would “kill Roe v. Wade.” Not only was ThinkProgress fact checked, but the article was fact checked by the conservative Weekly Standard.
And you thought you just believed Colin’ Kaepernick’s kneeling anthem protest was out of place or in bad taste during the pre-kickoff moment reserved for patriotism. Silly white people, didn’t you know disagreeing with the protests makes you a practitioner or one of America’s oldest and most racist traditions? Welcome to the “slave patrol.”
The View began Wednesday’s show by parroting the same overwrought analysis all over cable news this morning after President Trump came out touting the federal government’s response to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria hit last year. Co-host Sunny Hostin was the most vocal, admitting she had family there so she took the issue personally, blasting the administration for “allowing its own citizens to die.”
Eager to politicize the upcoming natural disaster of Hurricane Florence, on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle and her panel of guests hammered President Trump for defending the federal government response to Hurricane Maria in 2017 and debated whether the commander-in-chief was “evil” or just a self-centered “toddler.”
