Even though new Planned Parenthood president Leana Wen is getting through softball network interviews without having to mention the A-word, America’s largest abortion mill’s strategy includes very public efforts to “destigmatize” abortion.
A few days ago, USA Today News & Enterprise Reporter Scott Gleeson made a list of 12 athletes "who would make great politicians." The reasons given for the athletes' political qualifications are in some instances thin to say the least. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of them are progressives, headed up by the Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James and including the Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins, NBA coaches Steve Kerr and Gregg Popovich and former Olympic skater Adam Rippon (see photo). Tim Tebow made the list, but as a Christian pro-lifer he's in the minority.
A major international incident has been boiling over in the Middle East during the last couple of weeks, yet American news viewers might not have heard about it. After years in a Pakistani prison, Asia Bibi, a Christian woman recently acquitted of charges of blasphemy against Islam, has so far been denied the ability to leave the country for her own safety, as the government fears civil unrest from extremists who have been protesting her acquittal. ABC, CBS and NBC have networks have failed to report the situation.
It’s been 18 years since a presidential election was clogged and stalled by a recount after a close finish in Florida, and now it’s happening again after Republicans led the election night tallies for Senator and Governor in the state. This time, the national media are scoffing at complaints that Democratic election officials could be seeking to overturn the will of the voters. Back in 2000, those same outlets dripped with suspicion that Florida’s Republican Secretary of State, Katherine Harris, was conspiring to steal that election away from Democrat Al Gore.
CNN's New Day panel twice refers to the Trump White House as a "banana republic." And former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart claims that a Washington Post article quoted a "White House official saying on background that 'this is like the Maury show. The only thing we're missing is a paternity test.'" Alisyn Camerota responds: "oh my God." Problems: the article was in Politico, not the Washington Post. And the source wasn't a "White House official on background." It was a former WH official, and thus someone with no current first-hand knowledge.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that NBC’s new drama New Amsterdam is full of liberal propaganda. Just a couple weeks ago we saw the overplayed gun control card. Tonight was no different, the writers brought out an oversold gimmick about ICE and in a plot that was all too familiar to something we saw recently on another NBC medical drama, Chicago Med.
Dating back to Abigail Adams in the late 1700s (and early 1800s), America’s First Ladies have a long history of getting involved in their husbands’ administrations and touching on everything from policy to politics. But according to today’s liberal media, everything the Trump administration did was somehow unprecedented. Take Tuesday, for instance: First Lady Melania Trump got involved in the West Wing when she publicly called for the firing of Deputy National Security Advisor Mira Ricardel.
On Monday evening and Tuesday morning, the same CNN that largely ignored actual links earlier this year between Democratic members of Congress and Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan did find time to highlight examples of white supremacists who cheered for Republicans to retain the U.S. Senate in the midterm elections.
We're only one week removed from the midterms and ABC’s The Conners was already looking ahead to the 2020 campaign on Tuesday’s episode, “The Separation of Church and Dan.”
Ah, so trying to keep up the fight to try and turn the tide in Georgia is okay, but to MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews on Tuesday, doing so in Florida makes you a “clown” and “Third World” “tin pot dictator” of a country where the losers are killed by hanging.
CNN’s war on the Trump White House is now entering the legal system. CNN filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Circuit Court in the District of Columbia, insisting that denying their Senior White House Shouter Jim Acosta a permanent pass has caused “irreparable harm” and that Acosta has a constitutional right to shout at the president. How lame is this? Let us count the ways:
Best known for his coverage of the Watergate scandal more than 45 years ago, Bob Woodward is still considered an “elder statesman” by many in today’s mainstream press. However, Woodward’s star is apparently fading since the Washington Post associate editor’s recent book -- Fear: Trump in the White House -- failed to draw enough critical acclaim or high enough sales, and his popular status took another hit on Tuesday, when he waded into the controversy between CNN and chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta against Republican President Donald Trump.
Appearing on the Tuesday edition of the Fox Business Network’s Trish Regan Primetime, the MRC’s Tim Graham and the eponymous host ripped the liberal media for pushing a “cuckoo conspiracy theory” about President Trump being a dictator and dismissing questions about the integrity of our electoral system (especially the voting recounts in South Florida).
Over the last two days, Palestinian terrorist groups Hamas and the Islamic Palestinian jihad coordinated to launch hundreds of missiles and other projectiles at Israeli civilians to cause maximum carnage. According to The Times of Israel Tuesday, the massive rocket attack was responsible for 108 Israeli casualties. But the Palestinian friendly broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) couldn’t be bothered to report the figure.
As we have seen, Donny Deutsch has had a somewhat less than spectacular record when predicting on the subject of President Donald Trump. In fact, his predictions have often been spectacularly wrong. Deutsch's latest prediction on Trump was delivered on Monday's Morning Joe. In response to host Joe Scarborough's observation that Trump must already know he is going to lose re-election in 2020, Deutsch upped the ante on silliness by suggesting that if Trump does lose, he will stage a military coup.
