Whenever the Catholic Church gets into any hot water, the liberal media is always there to fire off some ignorant criticism or scathing tirade. Of course, it’s the perfect opportunity to channel their ire for the Church, so why hold back? Daily Show host and liberal mascot Trevor Noah didn’t hold back with his anti-Catholic monologue on Wednesday.

In its aim to be politically correct, Facebook has determined that criticizing an accused terrorist counts as hate speech. According to Brigitte Gabriel, founder of Act for America, Facebook suspended her personal page for posting a comment about the suspected terrorist arrested at a compound in New Mexico. She tweeted that the post was taken down for “hate speech.”

The new Pennsylvania grand jury report detailing reports of Catholic Church sex abuse is horrific. And the twisted coverage by some in the media isn’t making it better. On Thursday, Salon published a piece by politics writer Amanda Marcotte with the headline, “Behind the latest Catholic sex abuse scandal: The church’s problem is male dominance.” According to Marcotte, hiding abusers is consistent with the Catholic push for abortion restrictions. But, as even the grand jury report suggests, abortion aids abusers.

On Wednesday, an open letter was issued to Nancy Pelosi by the historic Californian newspaper, the Sacramento Bee. The editorial board called on her to step aside in the race for Speaker of the House, citing the good of the Democratic Party. As it stands, 44 Democratic candidates and incumbents say they will not be voting for Pelosi as speaker.

Far-left Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren has a new plan to regulate the largest businesses and some in the media helped promote it. She published a Wall Street Journal op-ed about her new legislation, the “Accountable Capitalism Act,” on Aug. 14. The very next day, Mad Money host Jim Cramer interviewed Warren about her “Novel way to reward the stakeholders of the enterprise.” He also called the op-ed “incredibly provocative.”

In response to the increasing criticism over his handling of the site, Twitter CEO Dorsey has conducted an array of interviews about Twitter’s future, which reportedly includes putting “alternative viewpoints” in users’ timelines.

Appearing as a panel member on MSNBC's Deadline: White House, MSNBC contributor John Heilemann displayed the latest example of the liberal media's tendency to gloss over the Reverend Al Sharpton's history of stoking racism as he actually praised Sharpton's involvement in the Central Park Five rape case from 1989. Not mentioned was that -- as recounted by former New York Post columnist and current MSNBC contributor John Podhoretz -- Sharpton helped incite a mob which harassed the rape victim during the trial and chanted that she was a "whore."

Networks such as CBS and MSNBC have hyped the rise of female Democratic candidates across the country for the 2018 midterms. Will they follow-up and report on the extreme statements by one sure-to-be elected Congresswoman? Rashida Tlaib, who could be the first Muslim woman in the Congress, announced to the BBC she wants to slash aid to Israel.

The liberal media continues their pathetic refrain that Trump supporters belong to a cult, a particularly popular claim on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Contributor and National Affairs analyst John Heilemann took it a step further on the August 16 edition of the political roundtable, claiming that there was just about nothing that Trump could do that would get his supporters to change their minds about him, including murdering their own family.

In June 2017, during the very public case against Jack Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cake Shop who politely declined making a wedding cake for a gay couple, transgender lawyer Autumn Scardina asked the baker for a cake to “mark the anniversary of her gender transition.” Unsurprisingly, Phillips declined. Samantha Allen of The Daily Beast called Phillips’ refusal to bake the cake “spurious.”

The Boston Globe’s call for a concerted media effort against the President came to fruition on Thursday as more than 350 papers across the country ran editorials decrying President Trump’s attacks on the news media. The paper's managing director Linda Henry appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Thursday morning to accept praise for her organization’s efforts

The real life New York Times "Sweet Spot" advice column provided more comedy than any parody of it could ever yield. In fact if you read the August 14 "How Can I Cure My White Guilt?" advice column without knowing it was not a parody, you would probably think it was. What provides the humor is not only the guilt provided by "Whitey" who is overly obsessed with "white privilege" but the SJW earnestness of those dispensing advice to him chock full of liberal platitudes.

One would think a major gaffe by a prominent governor and potential 2020 presidential candidate would garner significant attention from the broadcast networks. However, since Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told a crowd on Wednesday that America “was never that great,” NBC has only provided 37 seconds of coverage to the controversy, while ABC and CBS have ignored the story altogether.

The new trailer for Gosnell teases the horror story of a murderous abortionist and his trial – including scenes of empty media seats in the courtroom. It’s right. I know because I was there. The trial of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell, in which witnesses described baby abortion survivors “swimming" in toilets “to get out,” attracted a mere 12 – 15 reporters (many of whom, I noticed, were local). Only after 56 days did all three broadcast networks report on Gosnell. But the story is about to garner a new wave of attention with GVN Releasing opening the film, Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer, to as many as 750 theaters October 12.

The environmentalists’ drive to limit plastic usage could impact your next celebration. After launching a crusade and petitions to ban plastic straws (harming disabled people who actually require them), environmentalists aren’t content to stop there. As cities and companies are starting to banish plastic straws there are “signs balloons will be among the products to get more scrutiny,” although they only account for “a very small part of environmental pollution” Associated Press reported on Aug. 15.
